I had a thought yesterday with my AU about how Megatron vaguely corresponds to Zero from the X games, and so maybe I could have Kiloton semi-correspond to Iris from X4. Basically just so that Megs can recreate the funny "WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOR?!" scene from X4

Though also, I do kind of like the idea of Kiloton and Megatron having been a thing in this AU, before Kiloton's tragic demise (I also like the idea of Megatron being the one to kill him like the original, so there's at least a little more to Kilo's fridging). But also I already have megop here, so it's like, damnit, how do I make this work?

Best solution I can come up with right now is kilomegs having been a thing during Megatron's earlier days in the Autobots, when him and Optimus either haven't met, or haven't yet gotten to a romantic level/ But I don't know

#I had similar thoughts on the Optimus front some days ago too #like how since Sentinel was more in line with his TFA counterpart I kind of wanted to ship him and Optimus #but there was already megop so I can't and I figured I should just keep Sentinel to the spider ladies instead of love triangles #and also on Valentines seeing a bunch of oplita art that made me appreciate the ship even more #like it really is good #but also remembering I've made the two basically siblings here so I can't do that and bc I chose the megop route instead #it's not that I don't like megop I very much do #but then I remember other ships with them exist that are based and cool and then I'm like damnit #maybe I was too hasty #I probably won't change the ship in this AU just that this has been a thing #I'm half wondering if I should take skystar out of it in all honesty #I mean I don't see a reason to though it could just be a past thing #I don't know #but yeah I'm considering having Kilo here too #transformers #transformers au #mega man x4 #megatron #tf kiloton #kilomegs #shipping #random stuff #transformers x
