i overshared about moros i cristians in the dinner with the professors this is why I don't drink (apple juice)
#no but actually i'm kinda embarrassed#we were talking about ritual and commemoration#in spain#the spaniah professor talked a bunch about semana santa#amd i was thinking about moros i cristians but i didn't say anything cause i knew i cannot be normal about it#but then they were talking about this other tradition in italy and the soanish professor turned to me and said 'that reminds me of moros y#cristianos'#and that opened the pandora box#i ended up talkimg even interfamiliar gossip i'm the worst#but they were pretty interested like they asked me for the name of my dad's hometown and everything#anyways. i now want to fully commit to memory studies#like i felt so good in that dinner when they were discussing the field#like. i wanna be there. i want to do this for the rest of my life#this is my place
