Today in "so Mads was actually a fucking idiot the entire time and nobody warned her about it," I have come to realize that unlike what I thought was the case, if you anonymize a work, it doesn't show that fandom in your list of works. Which is why I chose to orphan my works instead of anonymize them since I was under the impression from what I read that your fandoms would still show up in the list.

So I could've just anonymized them instead of orphaning them.

#personal #to be honest I'm shocked by how upset I am #when I thought orphaning was literally the only choice I was fine with it #but now that I'm like oh anonymous WOULD have actually worked #I'm crying about it #(these were not quality fics guys do not stand at their graves and cry)#it's not that I didn't have a fondness for them #it was just that I was sick of seeing them when I logged on #and sick of knowing people would see them when they logged on as well #I could theoretically re-post them all to Ao3 and anonymize them #but then there'd be two copies of the fics on Ao3 for no goddamn reason #anyway I'm blaming period hormones for the tears
