I think next gen AUs are fun but lately I have not been able to take them as seriously because my sister and I made the most ridiculous next gen au of our OCs ever where none of the ships make any sense and there’s a whole plot about a worm cult for some reason as well. It’s amazing highly recommend making next gen AUs where the pairs could’ve easily been randomly generated for all the fandom knows
#I can’t believe capey pineapple and towel formed a team to stop apple joe but apple joe got capey#and they had a kid but towel saved capey and they fell in love and had their own kid#(while pineapple is staying with apple juice and cotton candy to make sure they’re safe and had a kid with apple juice)#but then apple joe gets mad and murders capey 😭😭😭💀 and towels MOM is a problem too#pineapple sadly dies of worms. apple juice vows to learn how to stop the worms and begins studying them#but the worms trick him into worshipping them and he and cotton candy are tasked with lobotomizing others for the worms to take over#capey joe (capey/apple joe kid) visits his father Apple Joe in jail and Apple Joe just yells at him#but then some doctors who look suspiciously like apple juice and cotton candy show up and lobotomize him and put a worm in his brain#Capey Joe is traumatized but this was done to ‘fix’ Apple Joe as he’s much nicer now (it’s the worm controlling him)#Capey Joe doesn’t want to be around this ‘father#so he runs away to save his half brother (towel x capey kid) from towels mom#along with his friend Bowl Of Beyblade (idk why that kid exists no one talks about him)#now Capey Joe stays with the Towel family who is under constant threat of Towel’s Mom#meanwhile Pineapple Juice is horrified that her father works for the worms that killed her mother#truly a 10/10 next gen au so far. all the pre existing ships have been ignored.
