ivypool is like sandfire to me. the version of her i made in my head is fantastic and i love her. and yet canon is so disappointing
#i like her as this person who’s let bitterness and paranoia run her entire life and now shes lonely at the top#bc she burned so many bridges and now yearns for what she had. bc no matter what she did it was wrong. she got help from all the wrong place#places#she was failed at every corner and now. whats left?#just like. dovewing tries to escape clan culture and ivypool fully embraces it. and now look where they both are#its tragic. i love her as a tragic character#but then canon makes fart noises and goes ‘’erm actually ivypool redeemed herself by believing in the code and shes such a girlboss#and she was sooooo logical and good for keeping twigpaw from her family over her unrelated issues with her sister#and that drags it down for me. let her be tragic
