Sometimes I'm just listening to some music, trying to read, and old characters call me and demand to be written. And that's how I'm making Imogen and Alexei a thing now.
#I feel like they always were a thing#but back in the day when I was actively writing Imogen she was going to end up with Maverick#not out of love but because they're both great hunters in the same age group#so it was more like 'hey you're great I'm great let's be great together but no love just efficiency and excellence '#which... it's Imogen so it definitely tracks#but I remember writing a scene between her and Alexei and that one keeps coming back to me at random#they both come back to me at random#and it's weird because I feel like Imogen could love Alexei#(I think she does but shhhhhh)#(I mean...
