Love, Rosie actually made me go crazy 🤪
#sitting through an 1hr 42 minutes of that was so hard#like first of all the main guy#Alex is going to Harvard to medicine#but if I remember correctly in the states you can only do medicine post grad#so unless he went to uni at age 15 and got his undergrad that whole plot makes no sense 🥴#but i could be wrong#anyway they had so many opportunities to get together but for some reason the plot pushed them so far a part constantly#that I didn’t want them to end up together#for example#the scene at the airport#him and Rosie are about to kiss#and it’s like clearly you guys have some attraction to one another#like the only hurdle that was there is that he had a girlfriend#but at the same time#let’s be so real he ended up breaking it off with the girlfriend (somehow?)#but they could’ve gotten together some point after#but the whole things was nonsensical and filled with mischances#like I just got bored of them realising their feelings at different times but then the plot continently keeps the apart until the end#apparently in the book it’s goes on until they are both 50#which is a joke#I was going to read the book but at the same time I don’t think I have the patience#gatherrambles#gatherwatches
