(even i’m tired of my yapping, and i know i said no more think pieces).

Apparently I forgot a lot of things about Season 2. One of them is Gonzales and co.’s judgment of Fury’s (and Coulson’s) secrets – which is fair enough – but apparently, all these secrets have something to do with “objects and terrifying power hidden across the globe.” (tbh that’s a lot of credit given to Fury) and that the Iliad crew want to “find them, and we want to make sure that they don't destroy the very world that we fight so hard to keep safe.”

Funny how in the same breath he criticizes Project Insight as Fury’s idea, as if their grand plan isn’t exactly like the very basic tenet of Project Insight itself.

Like Steve Rogers once said, “by holding a gun to everyone on Earth and calling it protection.”

hey if you're a shield fan and you see this please reblog or comment with your thoughts on the whole SHIELD, the real SHIELD plotline. cause I think it's super interesting but also misses on the execution in places. plus I know it's a topic of contention in the fan base or all least was in the spaces I used to be active in.
