rewatching early seasons supernatural I have so much to say about how much it is not actually the Christianity show that everyone makes it out to be in terms of the questions and messages and underlying world view and I have like 5000 rambling posts in my drafts about it from a jewish perspective that I will likely never publish

#Talking about kripke era cause that’s all I remember or know well #And all that matters to me #so many of you approach this show through an entirely (culturally) Christian lens so of course that’s what you see #but the perspectie on god and sin and forgiveness and redemption and salvation and so many other things are very much not christian #you miss so much forgetting that kripke is Jewish and so were many of the writers esp in his era #I'm not saying it is an entirely jewish show but it is not christiannatural like so many say it is
