Roosters with accents and dolphins

For day 1 of @bucktommyfluffebruary | Non Sexual Intimacy

Tommy’s only just gotten to sleep in his bunk at work when his phone starts buzzing and he has to make a mad grab to silence it before Lucy yells at him. This is the first time they’ve gotten to relax all shift and he’s not looking to piss her off anymore than he already has.

When he finally gets it silenced and let his eyes adjust to the sudden brightness he’s greeted with Evan’s name and big cheesy grin from a photo the other man had taken the spring before on a hike.

Babe: Do you think roosters around the world crow with accents? Like in Ireland it’s an Irish accent and in Paris it’s French?

He’s hitting the call icon before he can stop himself as he slides out of from under the blankets and heads into the hangar proper.

“Tommy,” Buck says in an excited rush as soon as the call connects. “Seriously do you think roosters in other countries crow with accents?”

“Hey baby,” Tommy chuckles still trying to figure out how roosters came to be his boyfriends newest Wikipedia rabbit hole obsession but he has an idea of how to answer Evan’s questions. “I don’t know if roosters crow in the native accent to whatever country they live in but what if we take a vacation and see if we can’t figure it out together?”

“You wanna go on a vacation to see if roosters, something you have an intense fear of because of a chicken you met once on a call at the 118, to see if they crow with an accent,” Evan questions disbelieving.

“Well you intrigued me and I like the idea of spending a few weeks just you, me and the chickens,” Tommy tries to justify even though he’s also trying to figure out why he proposed the idea.

“Okay I’ll start researching stuff and then our next shared day off we can plan something,” Buck rambles on before starting to talk about an underwater documentary he’d watched with Jee and Tommy laughs again because he still can’t believe that Evan gave him another chance.

The alarm starts blaring again and Tommy hates having to interrupt Evan’s speech. “Baby I love you and I definitely wanna hear more about dolphins and their fascination with using pufferfish as toys but I gotta go. I’ll see you at home, love you.”

“Love you Tommy. Be safe.”

I am fighting for my life with assetstudio rn bestie please just let me look at the new dupe icons I can't keep doing this

#rat rambles #oni posting #they have them but anytime I open them assetstudio crashes so I worry its a problem with the files being like incompatible or smtm #but the icons are there! I wanna know what they look like!#also I have all but completely confirmed that these guys are at least cyborg dupes (for now at least)#things are super duper prone to change rn but so far basically every new thing Ive found so far relates to these new mechanical dupes #we also may be getting a new type of oil which is fun #ok so mid post update I got it to not crash but all the images showed up corrupted #and I dont mean just the new stuff I mean everything #so maybe its just a general update to oni that made it not compatible with assetstudio or smth? idk Ill see if I can look into it #because I need to see these new guys even if their designs will likely change in the future

sorry not to be negative or anything i think a lot of the jokes about maria dying are funny but am i the only one who thinks that its taking it a liiiittle too far to flood the comments of the live action actors posts with stuff about how shes gonna get shot or you cant wait to see her die (and yes this is actually happening im not making up a guy to get mad at)

#i KNOW its in reference to the character not the actor in real life but its still weird?#like even if youre talking about the character youre still directing it at a real person. who is also a child . which just makes it worse #i feel like if i was in her position id be a bit freaked out #especially if i didnt know much about sonic and how important/iconic maria dying is #like the top comment on her isntagram post confirming her role is just ''LMAO SHES IN A BODY BAG ''#and theres a bunch of other jokes under that about her dying. most of the comments section is just jokes about her dying actually #with a few people congratulating her and stuff but mostly jokes about her dying .... its weird #and about waht she was wearing maybe she Was making a joke there #but i feel like its just as likely that she was on set in costume at the time #and isnt allowed to show what maria looks like yet and thats why she had her face and body covered #theres not really anything wrong with these jokes on their own but why are hundreds if not thousands of people #insistent on making sure the actor herself knows how much you wanna see her die . its so weird

I'm tearing thru this sketchbook i did 19 pages this month

#unless i do another one before march ends #im jst scribbling in here i dont think anythinf is happening though #idk i dont like what im learning #drawing very stylized makes me feel unknowledgeable...or like im not depicting what i want to depict #bc extreme iconic stylization removes that organic human warmth i wanna convey #but then the alternative is drawing too realistic (which is more evident in my trad sketchbooks)#(i know my style in general is NOT realism)#and i dont want. to be too realistic. it makes it harder to get away with certain stylization bc then it looks more obviously ''wrong''#and out of place....aroo #AND ALSO MAKES MY WORK STIFFER!!!! i want to find a balance....#i hate that even when i learn and ''improve'' i get no where closer to drawing how I want! alas #talkys #also running into that super confusing mindset where i look at art i enjoy and think about how if *i* drew that i wouldnt like it #i wish i had someone elses eyes so bad i dont get it

i wish there was a way to put the way part of a song sounds as an image(but not an image) for a profile picture or something so that it translates to everybody's mind as that sound as if they're actually listening to it but without actually listening to it. like how you look at an image but sound instead. but not sound. no audio. but it's in your mind the same way an image is in mind when you see it. instantly. if you could see sound. but not like written music or anything. is any of this making sense or no
