𓂃⊹ ִֶָ
BFF! Sugu who’s been by your side since before you can even remember! You grew up neighbors and when you both went off to college you got an apartment off campus together. It was only natural to be with Suguru. He was the only constant in your life – your anchor.
BFF! Sugu who is so protective of you. How could he not? You two experienced life’s firsts together. You were there when Suguru took a nasty spill off his bike. His tears were hot down his face as you stayed by his side. You used the water bottle you kept on your own bike to flush the blood off his knee, giving it a quick peck. “My mom always says a kiss makes everything better. Do you feel better Sugu?” He nods his head, wiping the snot off of his face with his t-shirt. He was there when you lost your first pet and even though you were preteens and everyone made you feel dumb being sad over a goldfish - Geto made it a point to hold a funeral in his backyard. He dug a small grave for it - picking out the perfect rock for you to write its name on to place on top of its resting place.
BFF! Sugu who makes sure you’re safe. He would never allow you to pump your own gas. He’s seen the type of guys who prowl around the gas station close to your home. He’ll make sure you get to sit pretty in the passenger seat while he fills up your car. Don’t worry about the price – he’ll take care of it. He always takes care of you.
BFF! Sugu who knows everything about you. He knows all your favorites. Favorite color, favorite season, favorite food, favorite tv show… there was nothing that you liked that he was not aware of. He knows about things you wouldn’t be caught dead telling anyone else – trusting only your best friend.
BFF! Sugu who is so so sooooo protective of you. Any guy he thought wasn’t the absolute best for you was quickly kicked to the curb. He’ll admit – sometimes the criteria was a little strict. The guy from your art class? His haircut was stupid. Shithead from your after school club? Believe him – he was a tool. Worst of all was the douche on your school’s baseball team. Suguru had quite the time getting you to see his point of view, but he didn’t dare say I told you so as you cried in his arms retelling the embarrassment of catching him cheating.
BFF! Sugu who learns to relax in college. You were a woman now – you no longer needed his constant guidance. He would genuinely smile as you talked about all the friends you were making in your major. How funny your coworkers at the concession stand job you worked every football game were. The fact you had a date with a friend of a friend – your girl friend had vouched for him. He was a good guy. Geto was glad you had people looking out for you. He couldn’t wait to meet him.
BFF! Sugu who helps you pick out the cute little outfits for your dates. You were so beautiful, that guy was truly lucky. But even his luck couldn’t match Suguru’s as you put on a little show for him – trying on every tantalizing option.
BFF! Sugu who loved watching you dress up so much he bought you more. You didn’t even need a date to have a fashion show! He just loved seeing that color on you. Oh! – And don’t even get him started on the skimpy little dresses with the ruffles. They were made for you. He couldn’t decide whether your plump butt or your squishy boobs looked better hugged by the fabric. He had to use his large hand to hide the bite he gave to his bottom lip when your cute little panties peaked through the bottom of a particularly short one. “Maybe that one is good for around the house,” he proposed.
BFF! Sugu who had to swallow his need when you begged him to rate your lingerie. “I didn’t realize you two were at that point in your relationship,” he would try to laugh off his distaste.
“I’ve told him no to sex for so long, I’ve been thinking maybe it's time…” you trailed off. You played with the hem of your dress as you stood in front of Suguru on the couch. He was sunk comfortably into the loveseat, legs spread wide and one of his muscled arms stretching across the back of the couch. The other on the arm rest. “Ok princess. Let’s see the options,” he spoke.
BFF! Sugu who couldn’t make it through the first set. The white lace left little to the imagination, a black bow adorned above your cute mound. “You trying to make me sweat?” A dark chuckle broke through his lips. “Sorry?” you asked him, not hearing him correctly. How silly you were to think that just because he was a friend that made him any less of a man. A hot blooded man at that – with eyes that glued to your nipples visible through the thin fabric. “The dresses were one thing, princess, but this? Don’t play dumb,” his dark eyes were now impossibly black. You were staring into the voids that indiscreetly roamed your body. It was entirely silly of you to now try and hide yourself from his hungry gaze.
BFF! Sugu who doesn’t let you leave. You were no match against his strong grip as he pulled you onto his lap. “You’re leavin’ me no choice,” he assured you, pushing you down hard against his thigh. You tried to push away but his hands on your waist locked you in. “No choice,” he reminded you. You swallowed thickly, realizing you were completely helpless as he began guiding your hips up and down his thigh. The rough material of your panties rubbing deliciously against your clit. “Sugu s-stop,” you begged him, all breathy and hot against his ear. “You want me to stop?” Of course! He was your best friend. You didn’t want him making you feel better than you ever thought possible by just rubbing your pussy against his leg. “But you look so cute like this,” he pouted at you, “Humping my thigh like a puppy. I’ll let go – but you better stop moving your hips,” he tutted at you. You didn’t have it in you to keep your eyes open to watch yourself continuously rut against him even after he removed his hands. It wasn’t your fault his muscled thigh felt more pleasurable than any toy you could ever buy.
Geto had plenty of girls at your school talking about their experiences with him. You spent your entire teen years hearing about his ‘magical tongue’ and ‘horse dick’. For the majority of your life you had little interest in getting to experience that part of your best friend – that was until the bastard from the baseball team. The absolute snore fest he put on for your first time was jarring. Maybe you were so used to hearing how life-changing Suguru’s hips were that you had high expectations...
No – you were not purposefully trying to get Geto to want you. He genuinely gave good advice when it came to what looked good on you. Ok so maybe you were pushing your luck with the lingerie – but Suguru was always so level-headed. It was scary how quickly he caved.
It was even more frightening listening to his taunts hot in your ear, “Why aren’t you stopping?” You couldn’t stop now – but you would. Just a little longer. You’d find the strength to stop soon. “Tell me you want me, or I’m stopping this,” he threatened and your form shook. “Please don’t,” you begged him. “Don’t what?” he lifted your chin, making you look at him “Don’t s-stop t-this,” you squeaked out.
BFF! Sugu whose rumors were true. His tongue was magical. His hands flew down to your hips, helping you roll deliciously against the fabric of his sweats while his wet muscle was hot against your nipples. He used his teeth to pull down the fabric so he could taste your bare bud against his tongue. He suckled and licked your sensitive nipple causing your arousal to seep past the lace of your panties. You began to soak his sweatpants but he wasn’t gonna have you stopping anytime soon. He pulled your hips into tight circles against him, overwhelming your nub. His teeth nibbled at your nipple and you jerked up at the sudden shock. His grip was bruising and you wanted – no needed more. “Sugu.. more.. need more” you sounded so pathetic.
BFF! Sugu who was left with little choice! His princess wanted more and more she was going to get. His head kissed your entrance, barely pushing in past the tip. You mewled, nails digging into his shoulders as he teased himself into you. “You think you can take me?” he asked you and you nodded fervently. He was thick and long – even his tip felt like he was tearing you in two. You wanted to be absolutely broken. “M-more Sugu,” you begged, trying to move your hips to sink down further. He kept you still – only allowing you to move if it was him dragging you down against him. Your slick was dripping down the rest of his cock, you were completely overwhelmed by the little attention he was giving you. One of his hands moved from your hips down to your clit, rubbing slow circles – barely ghosting above it. You were clenching on his fat tip and whining embarrassingly loud. He wanted to have you crying for his cock. He clicked his tongue at you, “I’m not convinced enough you want my cock.” He looked so unaffected as you shook, “I do! I need it, Sugu,” tears fell down your cheeks as you desperately tried to convince him.
BFF! Sugu whose hips slapped against yours at a brutal pace. He had you pinned into the loveseat, head down and ass up. A creamy ring formed at the base of his unrelenting cock. Drool was seeping from your mouth and onto the couch, the only thing you could think about was the way he was pounding into that gummy spot that made you dizzy. “No one could make you feel this way,” he promised you, “this pussy was made for me.” His pace was bruising, his balls slapping against your clit. He pulled your hips up farther, making you arch your back. Everything was so noisy – the sound of you meeting his hips, the squelch of his cock pulling in and out, and his grunts each time he felt his tip kiss your cervix. Geto looooved watching you take him so well. Each time his cock disappeared inside of you, only to reappear as he roughly dragged out of you. He didn’t know if you were purposefully squeezing him each time his hips pulled back. Were you trying to keep him buried deep? “Your date won't mind if I leave my cum in you, right?” he teased you – knowing full well you wouldn’t be going anywhere after he was done with you. “Dripping out of your pussy at dinner,” you couldn’t fathom him being able to laugh right now. “What would you even tell him?” he was imagining the scene playing out in his mind, “My roommate thought I was looking a little empty. Needed to stuff me full,” His smile lazy thinking about how he was claiming you tonight. He was fucking your tight little hole deliciously, making sure you could never be satisfied by anything other than his cock. You pushed your hips into his, making sure he reached as deep as possible. “You want to cum, princess?” he picked up his pace – which you didn’t even think was possible – your tits bouncing at each thrust of his hips. You nodded, pleading for him to make you cum. “God – cum on my cock. Want t’feel you squeezin me,” the rough pad of his finger met your clit, helping your pleasure meet its peak. “I’m cumming, Sugu,” you cried out to your best friend.
BFF! Sugu who wasn’t done with you once you came. You tried to claw at his hands on your hips, begging him to slow down. The tension in your tummy snapped, cumming undone loudly around him. He paid no mind to your pleas, “You can take more. You’re a good girl, I know you can.” He didn’t ever want to leave your snug pussy. He would fuck you all day if that’s what it took for him to feel satisfied. “Give me another, baby. Cum on my cock one more time. I know you can,” he was so filthy. You never had a guy dirty talk to you the way Geto was. He was demanding and unrelenting. It was alarming how much you enjoyed the filth leaving his lips. “How could you tell me to stop when she’s gripping me so tight – pussy doesn’t want to let go of me.” he threw his head back, “”S your fault I’m pounding you like this. I couldn't let you get away with showing me that little number.” The lingerie he was referring to was on the floor below you two, ripped into pieces from when he tore it off your body. He completely pulled out of you – leaving your pussy uncomfortably empty before flipping you over and folding you in half. He placed the back of your knees on his shoulder, wasting no time pushing himself back into you. The new angle took your breath away. His heavy frame held you down as his cock was unrelenting. When you looked down you could see his length slide in and out of you, your cute little pussy lips swallowing him whole. Your arousal coated his cock – all thick and creamy. You felt like you could pass out from the sight – not thinking it was possible to be so wet. His thumb reached down to your clit, rubbing harsh circles on it. “C’mon baby. I’m addicted to the way you squeeze my cock. Let me feel you cum again. Need it, princess,” he begged. He was slowly losing all control. You were so perfect underneath him, taking him like the good girl he always knew you were. You were wrecking him. Your sounds were so cute – choking back sobs as he fucked you to another peak. You were begging for him to cum inside you. You wanted to feel him coat your walls in his sticky juice. “Gonna pump you full,” he promised you. “Gonna feel so good stuffed full with my cum.”
BFF! Sugu who can’t stand watching his semen leak out of you. You were completely fucked out – chest heaving as you laid on the couch. Geto was still holding your legs up, trying fruitlessly to push his juices back inside of you.
BFF! Sugu who needs to make sure you keep all of it. He didn’t even wait for you to regain your energy before his thick fingers are deep inside of you. “Can’t let a single drop go to waste,” he tells you. He curls his thick digits, pushing against the squishy spot that makes you see stars. “No more,” you breathlessly say. “Just one more. Need to make sure it all keeps,” you are completely overstimulated. The feelings of his fingers are heightened by your two orgasms – which only makes you come undone even faster. His fingers are lightening fast and your pussy sounds like it's made of water. It’s so loud and wet and you just can’t help yourself from cumming again. You’re thrashing against his unrelenting fingers, crying loud enough that your neighbors definitely hear. “That’s it. S’good for me,” he’s emotional watching you come undone so many times by his doing. You were his. His, his, his.
BFF! Sugu who doesn’t even have to tell you to cancel your date. You couldn’t pick your head up after he was done with you. You were staying home with him – where you belonged.

Doctor's In - Part 6
Summary: Your relationship with Wanda is put to the test when someone from her past stops by.
Wanda Maximoff x F!R
You’re an adult. You’re an adult.
You have to tell yourself over and over again, because it’s been forever since you’ve been to the movies and the popcorn smells delicious, the candy assorment is incredible and you want to buy it all.
“Can we get nachos too?” Tommy says and your mouth waters.
“Oh my God, nachos”
By the time you join Billy and Wanda at the theater, you’re carrying two buckets of popcorn, four sodas, nachos and gummies.
“You are never getting the food for movie night again” Wanda glares, thinking about the sugar high she’ll have to deal with if the twins actually eat everything.
“Babe, it’s ok. I’ll eat everything before the kids can” you joke. Wanda rolls her eyes and you keep your promise, checking that they’re not gulfing down everything before the movie starts.
Ever since you told the kids about you two, you’ve tried to make time for at least one family day as you call it, every week. So, today they wanted to see Inside Out 2 (after making you watch the first one) and you were happy to comply.
Wanda has to stop herself from laughing at the way you react to the movie. You make the same faces and noises as her two children, laughing especially hard at the scene where Anger attacks Pouchy.
“I’m so full” Billy complains.
“Me too” Tommy says.
“Me three” you join, making them laugh.
“Whose fault is that?” Wanda says, playfully pinching your side and you smile.
“Sorry, love. Next time we’ll just get the popcorn”
Walking around the mall, you decide to take them to the arcade so they can exhaust themselves playing.
“Nothing with guns” Wanda warns in her stern mom voice.
“Come on, you two against me on foosball” you challenge, a hand behind your back to make it seem like it’s the easiest thing in the world to play against them. Still, you tie and on the last ball, you’re about to score when you feel Wanda’s hands on your face, making you turn to kiss her.
Her lips are soft and she looks so gorgeous, you melt against the contact, forgetting the game.
“Not fair” you say when you realise you lost the last point. Wanda laughs against your lips when you kiss her again, while the boys go play air hockey.
Once they’ve spent enough time exhausting themselves, you decide to head back home.
“Teeth and pajamas” Wanda says to the kids as they go up the stairs.
“What about me?” you follow her to the kitchen, cornering her against the counter. “Can I get a little sweet treat before bed?”
“And what would that sweet treat be?”
“You”
Wanda’s eyes darken, remembering how you ate her out right in this spot a few weeks ago.
“But you were a bit naughty, getting all that candy” she teases, turning her face when you lean forward to kiss her. “You’ve had enough sweets for the day, don’t want you getting cavities”
“Just one more, I promise” you plead, hand going behind her to cup her ass through her jeans.
She finally gives in to your advances, initiating a sensual kiss that makes you weak in the knees.
“Mom, I was ready for bed first!” Tommy shouts from upstairs, because they’re always making it a competition.
“Do they happen to go to summer camp? Winter camp? Anything camp?” you joke as she breaks the kiss, laughing.
“Come on” she leads you upstairs, where you usually lean against the doorway as Wanda tucks them in.
There, you see with adoration as Wanda makes sure they’re all set for the night, kissing their foreheads and whispering something in Sokovian. You know by the sounds of the room that sometimes they stay up after that, but they’re just talking to each other while they feel tired enough to sleep.
Once you’re at Wanda’s room, you sit in her bed, because the favorite part of this little routine is watching her while she’s in front of the mirror of her dresser. First, she takes off her jewelry, then the very light makeup she usually has and at the end, Wanda applies some skincare product because she insists there are wrinkles around her eyes that make her feel old. Even if she doesn’t tell you, Wanda enjoys how you take in every little movement she makes, and the look of complete love in your face.
“Think they’ll ever want their own rooms? Or not want to share as much as they do now?”
“Maybe when they’re teenagers. I remember Pietro and I just started to talk to more people and make other friends in high school. But he was still my best friend, at the end of the day. I think he’s the only person that knows everything about me”
“Everything?” you repeat, enjoying how Wanda moves over to your lap as soon as she finishes with her makeup. “Does he know about me?”
“Yeah, I knew the boys would tell him if I didn’t” she laughs and you smile, kissing her neck. “Had to convince him to not book the first flight here, because he wanted to come and give you the shovel talk”
“Bring it”
“Maybe later. I don’t want him to scare you off, baby”
“Nothing can and nothing will” you promise, carrying her so she’s laying in bed. You smile, enjoying how beautiful she looks. “Now, about that sweet treat”
—
Lazy Sundays are a thing that you recently discovered, and they have become your favorite.
It usually starts with waking up next to Wanda, cuddled up in bed, sharing kisses until you hear the unmistakable noise of small footsteps trying to get some morning cookies.
Then, you wake up, and play with the kids for a little, while Wanda makes breakfast. You always clean up, making sure she doesn’t do anything more than strictly necessary.
This morning is no different, and you’re excited because the plan for today is drive to the Natural History Museum. You can’t wait for the kids to see all the cool fossils.
“Darling, can you go to the car and check if I left my charger there? My phone’s dead”
“Sure, baby” you smile, giving her a playful smack on the butt as you walk to the door.
You’re still yawning, rubbing the sleep off your eyes while you step outside. You hear a motorcycle and perk up, wondering if it’s a certain someone you know. But whoever is driving parks right outside of Wanda’s driveway, and a man with short blonde hair and blue eyes gets off, carrying a duffel bag.
“Oh, sorry. I must have the wrong house” he says as you walk out the door.
“Who are you looking for?”
“Wanda Maximoff”
“No, you’re in the right place. Can I help you?” you say, your heart beating fast. This man is definitely not Pietro, as you’ve seen him in pictures before.
“Steve? Oh, my God!” you hear Wanda shout behind you and she runs past you, right into his arms. You’re taken aback by her excitement over someone whose name you’ve never even heard.
“Uncle Steve!” the kids join, and he stops spinning Wanda in the air (like out of a fucking romcom) and goes to greet the kids. You stan there, feeling uncomfortable until Wanda asks him to step inside and sees you.
“Oh, pardon my manners. Steve, this is Y/N”
Not my girlfriend, but Y/N.
Right.
“Nice to meet you”
“Captain Steve Rogers” he says, making sure you know he is a captain.
Oh, big man with a big title. Asshole.
“Doctor Y/N Y/L/N” you hit back.
“We grew up together. Well, he was a few years older than us, but the Rogers were so nice and welcoming when we first moved to the US” Wanda says, practically giving the man heart eyes. “And now, well, he’s in the army so we don’t see each other as much”
“Had a couple of days off, thought I’d stop by. I’m sorry, I didn’t know you had company” he eyes you curiously and then to Wanda. “I’ll find a place to stay”
“None of that, you’re staying with us. Y/N lives across the street”
“Yeah, I do” you nod. “We were just going to the museum today”
“On such a nice day? We could go and play some baseball” he says, and you have to resist the urge to punch him in his very defined jaw.
But the twins agree and Wanda is quick to follow suit, so you just smile politely.
“Come on, I want to hear everything” Wanda pulls him inside, her arm around his.
You look back to your place and sigh.
“Whatever” you mutter, going back to your own house.
Wanda doesn’t even notice until they are getting ready to leave for their baseball game.
“Aren’t you coming?” she asks as soon as you open the door.
“No, I’m more of an indoors type of person. Have fun, catch up with your friend”
“You’re still having dinner with us, right?”
“Sure” you say, knowing full well you’ll run to the hospital under the excuse of an emergency at the last minute.
“Everything ok? I didn’t mean to… ignore you back there. I was just so surprised about Steve”
“It’s fine” you lie.
“Ok. I love you” she stands on her toes to kiss you and you smile, appreciating how the words sooth your heart in spite of everything.
You’re restless, so you run to the gym and spend a good hour just listening to music and working out. By the time you’re back, completely exhausted, there’s another god damn bike on your driveway.
“Where the hell have you been?” Carol says as soon as you step on to your house.
“Wow, what’s gotten into you?”
“I have a lesbian emergency. And you’re the only other lesbian I trust enough!” she hisses, looking like a mad woman.
“Ok, chill, will ya? Let me take a shower and we’ll talk about it”
“Maria wants kids” Carol blurts out, following you upstairs.
“Ok, so?”
“So! It’s too soon”
“You’ve been dating since med school. By gay standards that’s like a good ten years of marriage, Carol” you’re about to step into the room to shower when you turn around. “Can I help you?”
“I’ve been to your room!”
“When we were fuck buddies. Now you’re engaged and I have a girlfriend, so wait downstairs for me” you say, because there’s no way in hell you’re letting her in just like that. You know Wanda would be upset about it.
“You’re mean”
“And you are a baby, Danvers” you stick your tongue out, closing the door to shower.
When you go downstairs, there’s Chinese food waiting and a couple of beers.
“I’m stress eating” she explains. You nod, taking out the food to the porch where you can enjoy the cool breeze. “Whose bike is that?”
“A friend of Wanda’s”
“Do I detect a hint of jealousy?”
“So, Maria wants to have kids?” you retort, making her groan. “Come on, this can’t be a surprise to you. Unless she recently changed her mind”
“It’s not about having them, it’s about when” she says, playing with her food. “We agreed we’d get married, travel for a bit. Have a life outside of work and then think about kids. But she left, and we broke it off for a while”
“So, you’re worried it’s too soon because of the time apart”
“I’m angry” Carol says and it seems like it takes an enormous amount of effort to even admit it. “I stayed, I didn’t change our plans together. And now, she came back and wants to change things again. It doesn’t seem fair that Maria is calling all the shots”
“Did you tell her that?” you take a sip of your beer, enjoying the taste. You’ve only had wine for the last couple of weeks.
“I just said I’d think about it” Carol admits. “And then I ran here”
“I see” you nod, taking a breath before asking something you’ve thought in the past. “Are you afraid you’ll be a bad parent?”
“Yes” Carol answers immediately.
You’ve seen so many surgeons struggle to keep up with their personal life while doing their job. Hell, even Stark and Pepper had their rough patch when Morgan was a baby.
“I think you’d be a great mom, Carol” you admit, knowing how good she is with kids. “Maybe you can compromise on the timeline. Like at least have a wedding even if it’s small and a honeymoon. Because once a baby comes, it’s gonna be your job 24/7”
“Speaking from experience with two kids?” she wiggles her eyebrows and you chuckle. “Wanna tell me about the friend?”
“He showed up unannounced and Wanda acted like this… teenager with a crush. Oh, and get this, I wasn’t introduced as her girlfriend, she only used my name”
“That’s kinda annoying. Very I’m still in the closet vibes”
“Her brother knows about us, though” you say. Unless that was a lie.
“Well, you should tell her it’s bothering you. I’ve seen you make so many changes to your life for her, Y/N. You take time off and help her, and that speaks volumes about you”
“Maybe I moved foo fast” you think, sipping your beer.
“You are a lesbian” she points out and you both laugh.
For the next hour, you keep talking about work and other stuff, until you see Wanda’s car approaching. You’re hit with a pang of jealousy when you see Steve driving, and opening the car door for Wanda.
“Dude is buff” Carol comments, and she whistles. “Yeap, I see what you mean”
Wanda barely looks at your place, and she only pays attention when she catches up to Carol sitting next to you.
“That’s my cue to go. Good luck” Carol says, taking her jacket.
“Drive safely” you say. “Or maybe take a cab?”
“I only had half a beer. See ya, princess” Carol says loud enough for Wanda to hear. Your girlfriend glares at her retreating figure and then looks at you.
“Is that why you didn’t want to come with us?”
“I didn’t even know Carol was going to come, Wanda. She needed some relationship advice” you say, standing up to pick up the trash. “And I’m not the one who cancelled our plans to hang with a total stranger. You know I only get one Sunday off every three weeks and I worked extra hours to be with you for the weekend”
“Steve isn’t a stranger”
It annoys you that she ignores your comment about the time off you work hard to get. To spend time together, no less.
“He is to me”
“You’re right. Just come over and meet him? I promise you once you do everything will be fine”
“Sure” you say. That’s the last thing you want to do, but you feel the tension between you and Wanda, and if you say no to dinner or skip at the last minute how you had originally planned, you’ll get into a fight.
You can get through one dinner, right?
As soon as you walk in to Wanda’s home, you wish you had just faked a work emergency.
Steve is playing with Billy and Tommy, clearly not understanding how the control of the console works.
“Dragons are kinda lame” he jokes. Or not, who knows.
“Spyro isn’t lame” Billy says and you smile proudly. That’s your boy.
“Hey” the man greets you as you walk to the kitchen to find Wanda. “Your friend has a nice bike. Too bad she drinks and drives”
You give him a dirty look from across the room, figuring it’s better to ignore him.
“Do you drink and drive too?” he asks, and now you’re certain you will kick his ass.
“Oh, so glad you’re here” Wanda walks in, carrying a couple of plates. “Mind helping me with the salad?”
“Sure” you say, eager to get away from Captain Morality.
Unfortunately, he seems to be in a chatty mood during dinner and you have to resist the urge to ignore him every time he asks a question.
“What about your family?” he asks at one point and you think you might break the Hippocratic Oath and stick your fork in his hand.
“What about them?” you dodge the question, taking a bite of your chicken.
“Yeah, what do your parents do? Any siblings?”
“My mom’s a teacher, my dad’s dead” you say without any more context.
“Sorry” the man says.
“Maybe we can talk about something else” Wanda says, and it’s the first time in all night that she’s had some consideration towards you. She asks him about another friend of theirs and you’re allowed to eat peacefully, happy that Captain Ass is leaving you alone.
“You ok?” Tommy says next to you and you smile, nodding. “I really wanted to go to the museum”
“Me too, buddy. Some other time”
When everyone’s done you do the usual cleaning, starting with washing the dishes.
Wanda joins you in the kitchen a while later, saving leftovers and putting away some of the spices she used.
“Everything ok?” she asks.
“Fine”
“Are you staying over?”
“I have to go to the hospital” you lie. You’re gonna be restless and can’t stand the idea of just laying in bed thinking about everything that’s happened today. You need the rush of work to clear your head.
“Well, I’m glad you got to know Steve a little better. He’ll only stay for a couple of days before going to visit his parents. Joseph and Sarah are so great”
“Mhm” you give a noncomittal groan and she keeps going.
“It was always so nice for us to spend time with them. And my parents, they just love Steve! My mom always told me we would be great together, but then I met someone else and you know, the twins came along”
“Wow, that’s great”
“Yeah, I always wondered. Maybe we would have been a good couple” she keeps going, completely oblivious to how annoyed you are.
“Lucky you, he’s here now and seems like he’s ready to pick up were you left off”
“What?”
“I don’t know, Wanda. You’re out here talking about him like he’s God’s greatest gift to this Earth, how you wonder if your life would be better with him. Go be with him if that’s what you want. I won’t be the one to stop you” you finally break, finishing the dishes and drying your hands.
“Do you hear yourself? You’re being incredibly immature” Wanda hisses, looking at the kitchen door, concerned that her friend or her children will listen.
“I’m being honest. How do you think it makes me feel to listen to this?”
“Oh, please. I’m not the one who is all cozy with her ex” she retorts.
“Carol and I work together and you knew about us before you and I started dating”
“What do you want me to do? Kick my friend out because you’re insecure?”
“No. I want you to…”
I want you to want me.
The words come back to you from a place you thought was buried, and it hits you like a ton of bricks.
A hand covers your mouth, trying to keep the words in, as if you’re not crumbling down. Taking a breath, you try to steady yourself.
“I have to go” you say, eager to put some distance between you two.
“Wait” Wanda says, her demeanor completely different. She’s never seen you this vulnerable or shaken.
“I’m going to the hospital” you avoid her eyes, leaving in a rush.
All you can do is run.
—
Thank God for work. There’s so much to do, you spend all night running around and by the time you sit, it’s 5 AM.
“My feet are killing me” Carol says; she also came to the hospital to run away from her problems.
“Come on, cheer up” you say, giving her chocolate and a granola bar.
You sit next to her, both of you staring at the wall, caught up in your own thoughts. When Darcy stops by, she tilts her head, eyeing you curiously.
“Girl trouble?”
You both nod and she sighs, sitting between the two.
“Me too”
“You and who?” Carol says.
“Me. I’m the problem with myself” Darcy says and in spite of yourself, you laugh. “Come on, the doctor’s in. Who wants to go first?”
“Wanda has a surprise guest that looks like a model, and it happens to be a dude she grew up with and her parents loved and wanted them to marry”
“Wow. That’s awful. Is he staying with her now? Are you worried they’re gonna bone?”
“I am now” you frown.
“Ok, good talk!” Darcy says, grimacing. “Carol, wanna go next?”
“No, thanks” she says, afraid Darcy will put new worries in her head like she did with you.
It’s really fucking funny, isn’t it? The dude shows up out of nowhere, is passive agressive when Wanda isn’t looking, you fight and maybe now she’s sad and running into his arms.
Perfect.
Your pager releases you from the new horrors and you spring to action, hoping work takes your mind off of everything else.
There are a few accidents on the road due to the heavy rain, so you focus on that and even scrub in with Carol in what Darcy dubs the Gay Denial Club.
“Go to sleep” Fury says when he catches you drifting off while standing up a few hours later.
“I’m fine” you lie.
“Take a walk, sleep. If you don’t want to go back home now it’s fine. But don’t stay here, you’ve been at the hospital for too long”
“Ok” you rub your eyes, feeling hungry and knowing cafeteria food won’t do the trick for now.
The pier is the one place where you can feel at peace right now, so you pick up some food and eat on a bench, looking out the water. When it gets cold, you do something that only happens once a year.
Smoking is so damn bad, but so good when you’re feeling completely done with the world. Right now you’re wondering why you quit.
Someone walks up to you, and you recognise the parfum instantly.
“That’s bad for you” Wanda says and you let out a dry laugh.
“So I’ve heard. What are you doing here?”
“You weren’t at the hospital and I just had a feeling I’d find you here” she says, sitting.
“Good call” you say, pushing out the smoke away from her.
“I’m sorry”
“What for?”
“The way I acted. And that thing I said… I didn’t mean it like that. When I said I sometimes wondered what my life would be like, I didn’t mean it as if I wanted it to be different… because then I wouldn’t have Billy and Tommy and that’s just simply unconceivable for me”
“I know” you nod, but keep staring at the pier.
“Are you gonna say anything else?”
You shrug your shoulders, debating if it’s worth it to open up about what’s bothering you.
“My mom didn’t want me” you finally say, putting out the cigarrette and coughing. You feel the need to light up another one immediately. “I heard her once or twice, saying it would have been easier if it was only her and her new family.”
“That’s awful. I never meant to make you feel that way” she says, trying to reach for your hand, but you move it away.
“I know. In my head, logically, I get what you meant. But all I feel is like a second choice. And I really, really, don’t want to feel that, you know? I spent my whole life running from that, and I can’t deal with it. I just don’t know how”
“Is there anything I can do?” she asks, sighing. The sound of your pager goes off, and you smile.
“You should go home. And I have work”
“I love you” Wanda says, holding your hand as you walk past her. You nod, looking at her for the first time. She’s so beautiful and perfect and you love her so much, but you know you need to step back and work through the pain this whole thing revived in you.
“I know” you nod, walking away, your pager going off a few more times.
You understand the urgency as you arrive to the hospital.
“There’s a sinkhole in the middle of the city. You and Danvers are going to the site”
“Jesus, alright. Darcy, you’ll handle the ER while I’m gone, Bishop and Parker, come with me” you get ready, packing up the essentials and putting on a windbreaker, as it looks like it will rain all night long.
“Be careful” Chief Fury says as you all get on an ambulance.
“See you on the other side, Chief” you wink at him, closing the door as you enter last.
—
The rain drops hit the windshield, providing a soothing white noise that helps Wanda calm her thougths. She takes her time driving back home, not just because of the storm, but because she wants peace and quiet to think about everything you just told her.
She had hoped that she could fix things and you’d come home with her, but apparently it was a lot more complicated for you.
“Everything ok?” Steve says as soon as she walks in.
“Not really” Wanda admits, locking the door and dragging her feet to the kitchen. “For the first time in ten years I meet someone who wants me, and is nice and amazing and also loves my two kids… and I managed to make her feel like a second hand toy”
“Is that what she said?”
“No. It isn’t. But I screwed up so bad, Steve” Wanda says, pouring a glass of wine, beating herself up over and over again for what happened.
“It’s not your fault” Steve admits at last, because he knows Wanda can be too hard on herself.
“Yes, it is” Wanda argues, not catching what he’s trying to say.
“I need to tell you something” Steve shifts in his place. “Pietro asked me to check up on you. He said you wouldn’t let him come and that Y/N sounded too good to be true. So I offered to stop by and see for myself… I may have been a bit rude to her when we spoke”
“Are you being serious right now?” Wanda has to bite her tongue, because her children are asleep and she doesn’t want to wake them up. “What gave you the right?”
“Wanda, he worries about you”
“I am a grown woman, with two children, a successful career, a house that I own. I’m more of an adult than Pietro or you”
“We didn’t mean any harm” Steve insists but she raises her hand.
“You should go. Stay over tonight if you have to, but I want you gone tomorrow morning, Steve” she requests, her tone firm. The man nods, leaving the kitchen.
Wanda sighs and downs the last of her glass of wine, hoping she can call you and apologize. If she had known before that Steve was deliberately rude to you…
“Hello?” Darcy picks up. She insists when Wanda doesn’t speak. “Wanda? I see your name in the caller ID”
“Hi, Darcy. Sorry, I was hoping I could speak to Y/N but if she’s busy…”
“We’re all busy” Darcy says, updating the patient list. “Y/N is not here, she was called on site to deal with the sinkhole”
“There’s a sinkhole?”
“Yeah, it’s all over the news. Listen, I picked up the phone just to make sure you didn’t have an emergency, because she’d freak out if something happened to you. But if you’re fine I gotta get back to managing the ER while she’s gone”
“No, I wanted to talk… I’m fine. Just please tell her to call me?”
“Will try. Bye” Darcy says, hanging up as two more ambulances stop at the entrance of the ER.
Wanda walks over to the tv, watching as the local newstation reports on the activity.
“Doctors from Shield Medical Center and Stark Hospital have arrived at the scene to help with trauma patients. We encourage people to stay home as the heavy rain will continue throughout Westview” the anchor woman says. There’s footage of medical personnel walking by the scene but Wanda can’t spot you.
She stays in the living room, hoping to see you, just to make sure you’re ok. Pretty soon, she falls asleep on the couch, but the noise of the tv stays in the background, making her dream of you, and the sadness in your eyes the last time she saw you.
—
“I have to go with this patient” Carol says, while the EMTs get the man on the ambulance. “I’ll try to come back as soon as we stabilize him”
“Be careful” you nod, turning to Kate and Peter next. “What else we got? Parker?”
“I have a head trauma and we’re waiting for an ambulance. Doctor Stark was out of town but flying in right now. I have to prep the patient so he’s ready by the time Stark lands”
“How did he find a flight with this weather?” Kate asks and you chuckle.
“Bishop, he owns a helicopter”
“Oh, right”
“Alright, Peter, you’re taking the next ambulance. Kate?”
“I’m staying” she says and you nod. It’s been four hours since you got here and you’re all soaked. At least most of the people have been evacuated.
“We got two people down here!” someone shouts and you turn in that direction.
“How can we help?” you greet Clint Barton, and he nods your way, greeting you.
“Hey, doc. It’s a small girl and her mom, the woman is trapped under the car”
“Fuck” Kate says, and you hit her arm.
“Language”
“No, fuck is right. The woman needs to have her leg amputated if we want to get her out but it’s too risky to go down there”
“I’ll go” you say.
“It’s seriously risky” Barton insists but you shrug your shoulders and he nods. “Alright everybody, we’re getting the doc down”
“Is this a good idea?” Kate asks when you request the medical equipment.
“It will be fine, trust me. Be prepared to stabilize her as soon as they’re up. And inform Maria about the little girl, she’ll need a consult”
“Right away”
“Hold on to the rope and make sure you don’t move a lot as we set you down, ok? The rain stopped for a little bit so this is our window. If water keeps falling you could go down in a mudslide”
“Ok” you say, trying to ignore your erratic heartbeat. This is not the time to get cold feet. “I’m ready”
You use your flashlight to look around, and then the beam lands on a pair of small eyes that look up at you.
“All set. I’m sending the kid over” you speak through a radio. Barton confirms and then you turn to the girl. “Hey, I’m Y/N. What’s your name? It’s ok”
“I’m Alice” the girl says, staying close to her unconscious mother.
“Alice, hi. Look, I’ll get you out of here, and then I’m staying to help your mom, ok? I’ll be up with her in no time”
“I don’t want to leave her” the girl protests as you get her ready to go up.
“Alice, I need to take care of your mommy and it can be scary. I won’t leave her side, I promise” you say, because there’s no way in hell you’ll let her watch as you cut off her mother’s leg.
“Promise?”
“Pinky swear” you say, and she smiles, nodding. You talk to the radio “The kid’s ready. Bishop, check for injuries once she’s up there”
You get to work, noticing the woman is still unconscious but it’s probably for the best. As you set the equipment for the amputation, a light rain begins again.
“Status report?” Barton says when it seems like the rain is getting stronger.
“60% done”
“You don’t have a lot of time left”
“Great, super helpful comment, Barton” you mutter, struggling with the bone. God, this is the part that always made you dizzy in your resident years. It doesn’t help that you’re doing it in the middle of the ground that could collapse under you any minute.
You pull through the nausea that hits you, letting Barton know that you’re done. His team lowers a gurney and you prepare it for transportation, struggling as you have to drag the woman across the floor.
“All good” you say, watching as she’s lifted.
“We’ll come back for you, stay put”
You light up the area, just to make sure you’re not leaving any equipment behind. Something caughts your eye beyond the truck.
“We’re pulling you up now” Barton says over the radio.
“Hold” you say, quickly approaching the edge of the hole. “There’s someone else here! The car was covering him”
“It’s raining heavily, we can’t have you stay longer” Barton says, the water causing the dirt around you to losen up. You feel the soil beneath you getting softer as well, as if it was about to give in. “Just take the rope, you don’t even know if they’re alive”
“He has a pulse, just hold”
“Grab the rope, damn it” Barton barks over the radio. His words are met with silence, and then a second later, there’s a loud crash. He looks over and sees the car sliding further down, the dirt finally giving in at the weight and water.
You’re nowhere to be found.
—
The sound of thunder wakes Wanda up. She looks around the room, confused.
The TV is still on, and she rubs her eyes, not paying much attention to what is being reported.
That is, until the person on the screen says your name.
“We have reports that as Doctor Y/L Y/L/N was conducting a search and rescue operation, there were some complications. The other person is an unidentified male, and all we know is they were both taken back to Stark Hospital in critical condition”
“No, no, no” she stands up, taking her car keys.
“Where are you going?” Steve says. He has been unable to sleep, feeling guilty over everything that happened.
“I need to go to the hospital, Y/N could be injured”
“It’s dangerous to drive with the storm, Wanda”
“Stay with the kids, ok?” she ignores him.
“Ok. Be careful” he finally agrees, knowing nothing will make her change her mind.
The ten minute drive is probably the longest one of her life. She tries to stay calm, finding the local news on the radio, but there’s no mention of you.
Stark Hospital is full of people waiting for news on their loved ones. Wanda knows the way to the staff door, so she moves quietly and enters, looking back and hoping no one caught her. Everyone’s too busy to question why someone outside the hospital is there.
“Wanda?” Darcy calls as she exits an examination room, confused. The woman turns around, ready to explain why she’s there.
“Why are you calling for Wanda? See, you’re the one with a concussion, Lewis” you mumble.
Wanda sighs with relief when she hears your voice, walking past Darcy to get inside the room. She sees you, scrubs full of mud and a couple of cuts in your face and arms.
“You’re ok” she says, forgetting the conflict between you two, and hugging you. “I’m so relieved. I thought I lost you. I heard on the news…”
“They exaggerate for views”
“She almost died” Darcy accuses with a glare.
“Did not”
“Ok, fine. I’m telling your girlfriend because you’re a knucklehead”
Wanda breaks the hug, laughing and wiping away the tears that fell down the moment you were in her arms. You keep your hand on her waist, sad that you scared her.
“Y/N here has a concussion and a dislocated shoulder. Lucky for her, she managed to take the rope while carrying the man she found in that hole”
“Wouldn’t you call that heroic?”
“I’d call it idiotic. Please take her and don’t let her come for the next week” Darcy pleads to Wanda. “And you, sleep, rest, don’t move that arm and more importantly, come back with lots of cookies”
“Yeah, yeah”
“And no sex!”
Darcy glares at you two one last time, before leaving the room.
There’s a beat of silence and then you turn to Wanda, smiling shyly.
“Could I get a ride home? I can’t drive with this thing” you point at your armsling and she nods.
“Of course, come on” she says, her hands on your cheeks. She knows you need to rest and she’ll happily drive you home, but Wanda still needs a minute to ground herself, your touch enough to remind her you’re ok.
“I’m here” you say, your hand going up and down her back.
Wanda nods, holding back tears.
“I know”
After a few more seconds, she stands back, waiting for you to leave your spot in the hospital bed. You walk slowly, afraid you’ll get dizzy if you move too fast. Wanda is leading the way, holding your hand to steady you.
“Wanda? Is everything ok? Why are you here?” Barton says and you look confused at both of them. Not another almost husband, for the love of God.
“Clint, hi. I’m just taking my girlfriend home” she gestures to you. “Y/N, this is…”
“We’ve met” you say.
“She’s crazy” Clint points to you and Wanda is about to lash out at him when the man smiles. “You saved a man’s life, but try not to do that again”
“Agree” you say, smiling as he pats your good shoulder.
“Drive safely”
“How do you know Barton?” you ask when you’re finally in the car, relaxing against the comfortable seat.
“He’s Laura’s husband” Wanda says, backing out of the parking lot.
“Laura, as in, your editor? Wow, it’s a small world” you mutter, closing your eyes for just a second. Wanda’s voice brings you back to reality.
“We’re here”
“Here where?”
“Home, baby”
You open your eyes, startled.
“Oh. I thought I only closed my eyes for half a second. Thanks for the ride. Gotta shower and take a dozen painkillers”
“Will you let me… will you let me help you?” Wanda asks, reaching for your hand and you nod.
Instead of walking to her place, she leads you across the street, opening the door with the key you gave her weeks ago.
“Did you clean?” you say, looking around. You definitely didn’t leave everything so tidy.
“You know it’s the only thing that calms me when I’m anxious”
“You’re so cute and weird” you chuckle, swaying lightly. Wanda catches you in the air, making you lean on her side.
“You ok? Maybe you should have stayed at the hospital”
“Just tired” you say against her temple, enjoying the warmth of her body after spending all night in the pouring rain.
“Come on, then” she says, going upstairs with you.
It takes Wanda by surprise to notice she’d never actually been in your room before. You’re always at her place, mainly because of the twins.
As she looks at the few pictures scattered across the room, of friends and colleagues (and the lack of family portraits), Wanda realises how much you’ve done to acommodate to her life and needs, while asking very little in return.
“Bathroom’s that way” you yawn, sitting in the bed while Wanda searches for clean clothes.
“Give me a second, baby” she says and you nod, removing the armsling. “Does it hurt a lot?”
“No, but it’s probably because Darcy gave me the good stuff. I might be out for a good couple of hours after cleaning up”
“Noted” she smiles, helping you up. With gentle movements, Wanda pulls down your pants and underwear, while you hold on to her shoulders to keep your balance.
“I can’t lift my shirt” you admit with a blush.
“I got you, baby”
It’s a little difficult to remove the clothes with the limited motion, but you manage, letting out a giggle as Wanda finally throws the scrubs away, leading you to the shower.
“I think they’re too dirty to use them again”
“We’ll worry about that later. How do you like the water?”
“Right now, hot. I spent all night in the freezing rain”
“Ok” Wanda reaches forward to get a feel of the temperature, nodding when it’s ready. However, you stay in your spot, staring. “What is it?”
“Aren’t you getting in?”
“I have nothing to wear for after”
“That’s the opposite of a problem, as far as I’m concerned” you smile, pulling her hand.
Wanda enjoys this, knowing that you still want her. That in spite of your fight, there’s still that look of complete adoration in your eyes when you tease her or admire her figure.
“Alright” she says, stripping down until she’s naked in front of you. “Behave”
“But I just saved a man’s life”
“And got yourself hurt. We don’t wanna come back to the hospital with more injuries and explain to Darcy how that happened”
“Mmm, that would be funny, actually” you mumble, sighing against Wanda’s front when she stands behind you, her hands massaging your scalp. You feel the dirt slide off your skin, and the hot water relaxes your muscles.
There’s a struggle to stay awake when she’s being so soothing with her touch, but you manage by leaning against the bathroom wall, the water washing away the soap as you’re finally clean and warm.
With the upmost care, Wanda dries you off and brushes your hair, and you yawn as she helps you put on clean clothes. She’s wearing your college sweatshirt, looking adorable with the sleeves too long.
“It’s almost day” you say, looking out the window. Wanda nods, but helps you lay in bed.
“Just get some rest, ok?”
“Will you stay with me?” you ask, settling in bed and smiling up at her.
“Of course” she says, running her hands through your hair.
“For one second, I thought I wouldn’t make it” you confess, trying to stay awake to tell her how you feel. “And all I could think about was how I wished I had kissed you when you came looking for me”
“I’m glad you’re ok. And I’m not going anywhere” she promises, leaning forward to kiss you.
You fall asleep with a smile on your face.
—
The space next to you is empty, and as you regain consciousness, you wonder if it was all a dream. Pain hits every inch of your body when you wake up, to remind you that it was all very much real.
“Wanda?” you say, looking around. She’s nowhere to be found.
You go down the stairs, adjusting the armsling and searching for the other woman. It must be past noon, so maybe she’s home with the twins.
Since you don’t even remember where your phone is, you go across the street, knocking on the Maximoff’s door.
“It’s Y/N!” Billy says excitedly, running to hug you. He’s a little rough with his movements, making you groan. “I’m so happy you’re back, don’t go again. Uncle Steve is so boring”
That’s the best thing the kid has ever said to you, and then Tommy joins in the hug.
“Yeah, he never lets us play videogames and we eat green stuff that tastes like crap. And he says language if we say dude!!”
“Dude, that sucks” you say, enjoying every second of this. They both laugh, hugging you and you pat their heads with your one good arm.
“Boys, give Y/N some space, she’s recovering” Wanda says, smiling as you look at her. “I’m sorry, I had to come back to get lunch ready, I’m sure you’re hungry”
“One thing before that” you smile, pulling her into a kiss. Wanda smiles against your lips, laughing as the kids call you gross and leave in a rush.
Just as you’re sitting in the kitchen counter, Rogers goes down the stairs, carrying his bag.
“Thanks for letting me stay” he says, and Wanda nods, her arm around your shoulders, “Y/N, glad to see you’re ok. I’m sorry if I was a little rude at first. You seem like a great gal”
“Thanks, Cap” you smile. He shakes your hand and goes to say goodbye to the kids, Wanda pressing a kiss against your temple.
“We’re gonna miss you so much” Billy says a bit dramatically, obviously lying. You give him a thumbs up.
As soon as the man’s out the door, the kids run back to the living room, pulling out their videogames.
“Steve’s a little boring” Wanda says against your temple and you smile. “You’re so good with them and we love you so much. Never forget that”
“I love you too” you say, turning to kiss her.
Staying home for the rest of the week is not so bad, especially when you have your family by your side.

🎀🩰 Bulking Weight 🎀🩰
“Come on mama, fuck! Just be a good girl and take it so I can give you all my cum. That’s what you want right.”
Or
Bakugou gets a little insecure about the extra weight he gained while bulking, and you fuck the insecurity out of him.
Originally posted on A03
🎀🩰
“This was so much fun.” You practically bouncing with joy. It’s been forever since y’all have been on patrol together.
“Whatever dumbass, don’t slow me down.” You throw a glare his way.
“Don’t forget I’m still your wife, your ass will be on the couch if you keep talking to me like that.”
He scuffs in response knowing not to test you, but still wanting to have the last “word”. You giggle at him. You find it cute how unbothered he tries to seem.
Today seemed to be a pretty calm day for patrol. So far you’ve only broken up two fights, saved a cat, and taken pictures with a few fans.
You guys got a call that you can end the day early since it’s been pretty slow all over the city. You two are walking back to the agency now. Bakugou can feel the excitement rolling off you. He can’t help, but crack a little smirk. Seeing his pretty wife practically glow with excitement lights something inside him. He thought he’d be over all the puppy love by now, but watching you walk down the street smiling while the sun hits your skin making your cheeks look like those caramel/chocolate commercials makes him just wanna sink his teeth in you. In a good way of course.
“What are you so excited about anyways?”
“I was planning on watching the new game of thrones series when we got back, and now I get to watch it earlier than planned” You squeal.
Gosh you’re such a nerd. He never understood why you like those British shows. They all look like their bodies, and breath smell like ass. Yeah, the fight scenes are cool, but other than that what do you watch it for?
He was too busy thinking about how weird your taste in television was to notice a group of teenagers boys walking down the sidewalk towards y’all. Hes shaken out of his thoughts by the force of the tallest in the group shoulder checking him.
“Watch old man.” The tall box dyed blonde says to Bakugou. The kid’s friends all snicker. Bakugou stops , and turns to the group.
“Didn’t your parents teach you to respect your superiors? Especially the ones out here keeping your ass safe.”
The blonde teen just rolled his eyes.
“You should be less worried about my parents, and more worried about your beer belly. Fat ass.” Before he can stop, and think about it Bakugou goes to grab the kid by the collar. But you are quicker, and grab his arm before he can do so.
“Come on I wanna go home.” You plead with your eyes for him to let it go. He really wants to teach these fuckers a lesson, but his need to please you outweighs his need to rub some random brat’s face in the dirt. He grunts in agreement, and lets you drag him away. He can hear the boys laughing as y’all walk away. But all he cares about is getting his pretty wife on the couch surrounded by your favorite snacks.
You use your quirk to knock the kid on his ass before you guys get too far. Teenagers fucking suck.
—
While sitting on the couch with you later he couldn’t help replay what that brat said earlier. He noticed he’d gained a little fat, but it’s because he’s bulking. Was it really that noticeable? Why haven’t you said anything? He started to feel as if he led you on.
When you first meet back in school he wasn’t all jacked, but he was far from fat. The body you feel in love with. The one you loved so much your panties would get wet just from looking at isn’t the same anymore.
Did you still even find him attractive?
Bakugou can’t bring himself to ask you about it. He says that he’ll just watch you carefully to see any signs of discomfort . The problem was you look so unfazed. He can’t tell if it’s because you haven’t noticed, don’t care, or if you’re trying to look unbothered to not hurt his feelings.
His feelings weren’t hurt, maybe his ego was a little bruised. But the fact you’re the type to go around problems that aren’t problems to protect other’s feelings only adds to the uncertainty.
What Bakugou didn’t notice was that you picked up on his discomfort. You noticed the long looks in the mirror after every shower. The not wanting to cuddle every night like he usually does. Most of all the lack of intimacy.
You guys haven’t had sex in almost a week. Every time y’all start to get hot, and heavy he just eats you out the rolls over and says goodnight.
Head is great. But fuck, you wanna feel the weight of your husband on top of you as he makes love to you.
You decid you’ve had enough. Whatever is worrying him so much you’re going find out and fix. At dinner you decide to finally speak about it.
“Katsuki.” Almost immediately Bakugou looks up at you.
“Yes?” Worry lines your face. Bakugou starts to panic thinking something happened to make you upset. Just as he was about to ask if you were okay you cut him off.
“What’s wrong? You’ve been acting different. You haven’t been as affectionate or intimate. Are you not attracted to me anymore?”
Now he really starts to panic. How could you, his beautiful perfect wife ever think you were the problem? How could he not be attracted to you? You were hand crafted by God himself. You are the only woman he could ever love. Never once had he ever questioned your beauty. Even in school when he thought you were annoying, he still found you breathtaking.
“Are you crazy there’s no way I couldn’t be attracted to you.”
“Then what’s the problem?” He pauses, and shaky breath in. Should he lie, or let you know that some punk made him a little insecure?
No, he can’t lie to you. For this whole ‘death do us part’ thing to work he’s gonna have to be honest with you. Even if it makes him uncomfortable.
“…I’m afraid that you don’t find me attractive now that I’ve put on some pounds.” He’s too embarrassed to even look up from his plate. There’s silence for a minute. He starts to worry that he’s actually right. But when he looks up to see your face it’s filled with nothing, but love. You get up from your seat, and walk over to him. You reach out to stroke his cheek.
“There’s nothing that would make me stop loving, or finding you unattractive. And I have noticed the extra pounds, but honestly it’s kinda doing it for me.” You giggle at his stunned face. You pull him in for a kiss. It starts off tinder. Full of the love you two share. But with new found confidence Bakugou starts to get impatient. He missed this. Your body against his. The kiss becomes more intense as he pulls you closer to him.
He lifts you by the back of your knees, and carries you to your shared bedroom. You let out a squeal as you’re dropped on the bed. Bakugou chuckles at you, but you aren’t given enough time to say anything about before he reconnects your lips. He starts moving his kisses lower, and nips at your jaw.
Between nibbles, and kisses Baukgou breathes out “God I’ve missed this”.
You let out a startled moan when he goes lower, and sucks your nipple through your thin shirt. You feel his lips curve into a smirk at your reaction.
You start to get impatient from all the nipping, and kissing. You’ve been deprived of him for too long. You whine as you tug on his shirt letting him know you want it off. Bakugou can’t help,
but coo at you, and give a kiss to your pouty lips.
“I know pretty girl, I know. Just let me taste you first baby.” He peels your clothes off before laying between your legs. His mouth waters every time he see your beautiful cunt. He watches as more slick leaks from you. He uses his thumb to spread it across your lips, before giving your clit the tiniest rub. It’s a ghost of a touch, and it drives you crazy. You start whining down at your husband begging with your pretty eyes for more, and who is he to tell you no? He replaces his hand with his mouth.
He loves the smell, and taste of you. He never thought there’d be a day he would be obsessed with a vagina, but after y’all’s first time he’s been hooked. He licks you like it give him just as much pleasure. The room is filled with your moans, and the sloppy sound of your dripping hole and his mouth . You grab at his hair, and start rolling your hips up into his face. Bakugou’s eyes rolling back at the feeling of you rubbing your juices all over his lower face and nose.
Bakugou sucks your clit between his lips while flicking the tip of his tongue against it. The clinching in your stomach gets tighter, and you know you’re close. But when he slightly nibbles on your clit you know it’s over. You cry out as you ride your orgasm out on his face. After you calm down Bakugou sits up on his knees to see your fucked out expression, and heaving chest.
As good as him eating you out was, it wasn’t what you wanted. You tug at his pants with pleading eyes, expressing what you really want.
“What pretty girl you can’t use your words?” He says in that mockingly sweet voice. He likes seeing his pretty wife like this. All desperate, and sparkling eyed. It’s impossible not to get hard while watching you squirm, and beg for his cock. It’s when you pout up to him all big eyed, and desperate that he gives you what you want. No matter how hard he tries he can’t say no to you. His beautiful sweet wife. If he could he’d give you the universe. He pulls his shirt off, and tosses it across the room. He then removes his belt, and pants leaving him in just his underwear. He starts to feel a little uneasy showing all this extra skin to you, but seeing the hungry look on your face burns it all away.
You feel yourself getting wetter as you stare at your husband’s changed body. You felt the extra weight, but seeing it makes you so much more hornier than you expected. All his bulging muscles. Instead of being lean like before he’s fuller. His stomach has become slightly rounder, and his shoulders, chest, and biceps meatier.
“Fuck I need you.” A evil smirk breaks out across Bakugou’s face.
“Come get it baby.” You tug his underwear down causing his cock to flop out. The swollen pink tip leaks with precum. You give him a few strokes before leaning down, and giving the tip a sweet kiss. You suck the tip into your mouth while wiggling your hips in the air knowing how much he loves seeing your ass move. Bakugou groans at the display. But you only get two head bobs in before he’s pulling you off, and pushing you on your back.
“That can wait for later. Weren’t you just begging me to fuck you. I gotta give my baby what she want.” He smugly says to you.
Bakugou pushes your knees apart and, taps his fat dick on your pussy. He enjoys watching the slight jiggle of your fat lips. He sit his dick between your lips, and lets his dick sit snug between the two. He thrust slowly. His tip catching your clit with every upward thrust. He loves watching the contrast of his dick sliding between your brown lips.
After an impatient “Katsuki” he lines his tip up with your hole, and slowly pushes into you. You both can’t stop the low whines from leaving your lips as he stretches your tight spongy walls around him. He looks to make sure he wasn’t hurting you, and almost blows his load right there.
Seeing your mouth agape, and face scrunched up in pressure causes his dick to twitch inside you.
He can’t stop himself from breathing out a “Fuck baby” at the sight of you laid out so pretty. He starts moving at a steady pace. He leaves kisses all over your face, and shoulders. He can’t stop himself from telling you how good you are between kisses. Something about your gummy walls makes his mind go foggy, and his tongue loose.
“You’re doing so good baby.”
“Taking all of me so well.”
“Come on pretty girl give it to me.”
“Can’t believe this pretty pussy is all mine.” The steady pace was amazing while you were getting use to his size again, but now you were getting impatient and wanting more.
Bakugou is caught off guard when you suddenly pulled him down by his neck, and cross your ankles around his waist. You can’t stand the no skin to skin. All you want is to feel the weight of your husband on top of you while he beats your walls in.
You look up at him with glossy eyes, and beg “please Katsuki, i need more”.
And who the hell was he to tell you no. He gives you one last peck before getting up on his elbows, and thrusting into you like it was his only purpose in life. Your squeals plus the sloppy sound your cunt starts making, makes his mind go hazy. All he can think about is getting you to cum on his cock then stuffing you full of his cum.
You reach between your bodies to give your clit the attention she’s throbbing for. The added sensation makes you squeeze even tighter around him. It’s too much for you both. Bakugou can’t even hold himself up anymore causing him to lay his full body on you,and starts humping into wet soft heat. He subconsciously starts sucking and licking on your neck like a fucking virgin that’s having their first kiss.
You can’t stop your sobs. It’s all too much, and not enough at the same time. You feel so full, yet you want to suck him in deeper. His tip rubbing against your cervix isn’t enough. You want him inside it, smearing his cum against each area of it.
“Katsuki, fuck!” you wail.
“Daddy please!”
“It’s okay baby you can take.” He coos at you.
“No I can’t, it’s too much!”
“Come on baby take it for me.” He pulls you into a sloppy kiss. When you pull apart he says
“Come on mama, fuck! Just be a good girl and take it so I can give you all my cum. That’s what you want right.”
You get out a little ‘mhm’ between sobs.
You feel your climax on the tip of your tongue. He can tell you need a little something more. Bakugou reaches his hand up, and rolls your nipple between his fingers before giving it a pinch.
Your climax hits you like a wave, and drags Bakugou down with you. He continues thrusting making sure he covers all your walls with his cum.
You two lay there holding each other after coming down from your highs. You run your nails through his hair while waiting for your heartbeats to go back to normal. After a few minutes you decide to break the silence.
“You know, nothing could make me stop loving you.” Bakugou feels an intense swell of emotion in his chest. He tries to hide his red cheeks, and teary eyes by burying his face between your breast.
“Fuck how’d I get so lucky?”

You have my blessing - N. Hischier
hughes!reader masterlist pairing: Nico Hischier x Hughes!reader summary: You visited Jack and met his team. He saw your interaction with Nico and decided to play matchmaker. warning: none note: based on this request - getting requests from you is like dream come true! thank you for the trust❤️
There's always been you and three brothers who you loved deeply but with one you had a special connection. You and Jack are twins and you two were inseparable. Despite different hobbies, you were stuck together. For him, you were his favorite person in the whole world and you were always the first one to find out about his achievements. He was always calling and talking with you. Through your whole life, it has been you and him against the world.
Right after you two graduated high school, Jack moved to New Jersey and you moved to Paris. For you, studying abroad was like a dream come true and you were delighted when you got accepted. Jack was celebrating this with you, but deep down he felt sadness that you’re leaving America and now, you two will be on long distance. During the season, you barely see each other but when you were coming back for summer, you two were attached to each other’ hips.
You graduated in Paris and decided to stay there for a little bit, just to enjoy the city. You loved the vibe here and wish to live there forever, but you missed your friends and family. You knew that you wanted to move back to America but still haven’t picked the city. It was one of the lazy days, when your mom called you.
“Hi sweetie, are you busy next week?” She asked you.
“No, I have free time. Why?”
“There’s a mom’s trip with New Jersey and since I have two sons there, I was thinking that you might want to go with me. Luke said that the club is fine with this” Your mom proposed and you jumped.
“Yes, please. I would love to! I miss you guys. On my way to book my ticket, should I fly to Jersey and stay with Jack and Luke or fly to Michigan to go there with you?”
“Fly to Michigan, let’s make a Jack surprise with your visit because he doesn’t expect that”
“Sure thing mom! I love you” You hung up and started packing to go see them.
You were beyond excited for this trip because you never saw Jack and Luke’ game live and you missed them. The last time you saw your family was a couple months ago and this was a perfect opportunity.
The week went by and now, you were in New Jersey with your mom and Luke in his and Jack’s place. Your twin was still on the rink doing media duties. When he finally returned, you jumped into his arms.
“I missed you so much!” You said.
“What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Paris?” He was shocked to see you.
“I have a free week and when mom proposed to go with you on the trip, I was more than happy to do it”
“Wait… Are you going with us?” He couldn’t believe his ears.
“Yeah, I’ll finally see you playing and meet your team” Jack pulled you into another hug.
The next day, you and your mom attempted on their open training. It was a new experience for you and you loved every minute of it. After it, Jack pulled you to meet the whole team. You said a quick hello to everyone but one player caught your attention.
“Jack said you’re studying abroad” Nico started the conversation.
“Not anymore. I graduated in May and now, I’m just living there but also searching for apartments somewhere in America because I want to come back home”
“And where do you plan to live?”
“I don’t know, I was thinking about New Jersey to be closer to Jack”
“He mentioned that too” Nico jokes
“What did he mention? I hadn’t told him that” You were surprised at his words.
“That you two are really close. To be honest, if not Luke talking about you too, I would never believe that Jack has a twin” You laughed and this brought Jack’s attention. “I mean, I never saw you and I was thinking that he’s making up your existence”
“I’m very much alive just never had the chance to see his game until now”
“I’m guessing you’re coming with your mom on the trip”
“Yup, that’s why I’m here”
“Great, see you around” Nico said and left for the locker room. You stood there with a big smile. Jack saw the whole thing from afar and saw the chemistry between you two. Two of his favorite people being together? That was his plan.
During the trip, you and Jack were glued to each other. All the time joking and talking about life. You went on a dinner with him, Luke and your mom and you announced that you decided to move to New Jersey. Luke was happy to have you around, you were always for him with advice and support. Jack screamed from the excitement. He was delighted to have his favorite person finally back. Jack was also happy because he wanted you to be with Nico. He started planning on how to get you two together.
After a month, you finally moved to New Jersey. For now, you lived with Jack and Luke while searching for your new apartment. You were attempting their every home game and they’ve been truly happy to have you by their side. You were also spending a lot of time with Nico. He was living in the same building apartment as your brothers and Jack was inviting him almost all the time. He was doing this on purpose.
Jack loved you and Nico and this was melting his heart how the two of you are getting along. Many times, he was ditching you and Nico when you had plans in three just so the two of you could get alone time. You quickly fell in love with Nico. He was the guy of your dreams. He was so gentle with you, always paid for you and surprised you with small gifts. Nico felt the same towards you. It was a pleasure for him to treat you like a princess. You two were perfect for each other but your brothers were an issue.
You two lived in a bubble and didn't even realise that Jack was pushing you two towards each other. One day, you had enough and straight away asked him.
“Would you be mad if I was dating one of your teammates?”
“Depends what teammate” Jack said and looked at you. “Why are you asking?”
“I might be in love with one of your teammates” You told him truthfully. You were twins and there was nothing to hide. You wanted to be honest with him.
“That’s huge… Who is that?”
“Don’t be mad but it’s Nico” You looked anywhere but his face.
“That’s great! Finally all my work paid off” He giggled.
“Your work paid off? What does it even mean?” You were confused.
“Oh please, when I saw you and Nico for the first time, I knew you’re made for each other. When you moved here I was doing everything in my power to push you two towards each other. I want you to be happy and I can see that he makes you happy” Jack hugged you. “Now go and get your man” He pushed you out of the apartment.
You laughed and went to see Nico. You knocked three times and he opened your door.
“Hello” He hugged you.
“Hi…” You started. “I talked with Jack and we have his blessing”
“Wait what?” Nico looked at you.
“He said that he’s happy that you’re making me happy and apparently, all the time he ditched us was his plan to get us together” You explained to him.
“You can’t be serious” He laughed.
“For real, this is what he told me” Nico closed the gap between you two.
“I guess I can officially do this” He grabbed your face and kissed your lips.

(at this point im just saying nonsense i think lol)

on the stroke of midnight | Spencer Reid

Pairing: Spencer Reid x fem!Reader Category: angst Summary: A pregnancy scare with your boyfriend leads to a serious conversation about the future Content: one mention of a foot fetish, pregnancy scare, talk of pregnancy and kids, established relationship, mentions of schizophrenia and mental illness, Cinderella and time as an extended metaphor and motif??? (Idk I was writing this while simultaneously writing my thesis on fairy tales oops), open ended ending Word count: 2.2k A/N: I don't want kids and this fictional man does, so I'm making it everyone's problem. This is my first time writing pure angst, so uh, please let me know if I should continue with this genre or just go back to smut and fluff lol. Also shoutout to @notlongtolove and @darkmatilda who let me yap abt this ily girlies.
Ever since you started dating, Spencer Reid has been trying to figure out why you love Cinderella so much. He’s read through different academic papers, come up with his own silly interpretations that either make you gasp, or cry from laughing, and often leaves you marveling at his wonderful brain and all the ways it twists and turns. He likes games, you’d established that from the beginning when he ended your first date with a friendly game of chess. He had let you win twice before you’d caught on, and called him out on it.
It was on the second date when you brought up your love for fairytales, expecting an amused laugh at best, and an oh so you're one of those Disney adults at worst. However, you got neither. Instead, Spencer Reid had launched into an explanation of the cultural significance of these stories, asked you about your favorite, and then proceeded to tell you about the different versions of it across history and continents. Somewhere between the Americas, he'd cut himself off, blushing furiously, before asking you why you loved Cinderella so much.
By then you had already decided he's perfect.
You didn’t tell him the reason that night; you thought it was too pathetic to share on a second date.
“I’ll tell you if you stick around.” you had said cheekily, hoping that maybe the temptation of a secret will allow you to keep him longer.
He had laughed, “So you’re baiting me into another date?”
“Is it working?”
“I would’ve asked you out again regardless.”
That had been the night you got your first taste of his lips, and you’ve found yourself hoping time would stretch on forever. If moments could be bottled up, you would have done so at that moment, kept it in your pocket for the rest of eternity.
Five months of bliss have passed since. Your theory of his perfection just kept being proven correct throughout the entire time, the way he’s trying so hard to communicate with you and make up for plans that get shelved due to the demanding nature of his job. He’d come up with different explanations for why you love Cinderella, until it became a game of its own; him searching through the contours of the fairy tale and you denying everything he comes up with.
At one point, he’d asked if it was simply because you had a feet fetish and you had to start wearing socks everywhere because the sight of your own feet would make you giggle.
You don’t mind it, the games, the way he insists on learning this about you. Spencer Reid's mind desires to understand how everything works, to turn over and mull and analyze, and the first step to that is by keeping track of the variables. You have always found this endearing. He knows how fast you can read — it depends on the genre according to him, but it’s somewhere around 350-400 words per minute. He knows your favorite stories and music, has found connecting themes between them, and now he’s trying to see where your love for Cinderella fits in all of it. Hell, he even keeps track of your cycle for you, resulting in perfectly timed moments shared in bed where you’re ravished, and he’s chanting your name, and the two of you are gasping for a god that neither of you really believe in.
When you miss your period, he notices before you even do, quietly offering two boxes of pregnancy tests. He kept track of how long it took before the results finally appeared — one test took three minutes and eight seconds, the other one three minutes and twenty one seconds. It had felt simultaneously like three seconds and three decades.
That was nearly six days ago. Nearly a whole week has passed, and what you had assumed to be an insignificant fissure seems to have widened into a crack. It’s a rare night off for him, a moment of domesticity that should be relished, but instead, you wonder if the cracks have somehow turned into something else. A fracture. You move around the kitchen together like magnets with similar poles, close but never quite touching. It feels like a chasm between you.
Dinner in the oven. Only the slow tick of the oven timer disrupts the silence, though it doesn’t really disrupt as much as it joins. Background noise, a lull that seems to melt with the silence to highlight the stifling atmosphere. He’s tossing a salad, facing away from you. You both know it is ready to be served.
His name is whispered into the tense air, your voice croaking at the last syllable, “We need to talk about this.” You watch as he tenses, back uncharacteristically straight, and your heart sinks to your stomach.
“I guess we do.” He never guesses. Spencer Reid uses words that are accurate, god knows he has the vocabulary for it. So this, to guess, the hint of skepticism makes your skin crawl. “What is this, again?”
You scoff. He can be so deliberately obtuse sometimes, “I don’t know, Spence, you tell me. You’ve been acting weird since I took that pregnancy test.”
He doesn’t look at you, but he does answer, “I just— I don’t understand why you were so relieved about the results.”
You’ve had an inkling this whole issue is about that moment. Both of you hunched on his couch while you waited with bated breath. He’d timed it, one stick taking three minutes and eight seconds, the other three minutes and twenty one; both had contained negative results.
You still remember it, the utter relief that washed over your body, the way you threw yourself into his arms at the confirmation that he hadn’t accidentally gotten you pregnant. You’d said thank god so quickly, face buried at the crook of his shoulder, so relieved that you hadn’t really noticed his reaction.
“Spencer,” it comes out a sigh, patient and quiet, “We’ve been dating for five months. Of course I was relieved. Don’t get me wrong, I love you, but it’s a little too soon to add a baby to the mix.” Love. That abstract concept you’ve almost given up on, before he’d come into your life. You love him, you’re sure of it. It’s burrowed deep into your bones now, which is why you’re trying to get past this. Communication is the key to making a relationship work. You remind yourself you don’t need a fairy godmother to keep this going. You have agency of your own.
His head shifts, turning over his shoulder slowly, and those beautiful amber eyes meet your own. “Is that all?”
It feels like an accusation, even though you know he’s just trying to understand. You gulp, trying not to get defensive, “I suppose not. If I’m being honest, I was relieved because I don’t really want children.”
There it is. A cardinal sin, a sickness of modern women. You wait for his words to turn bitter, the familiar accusations of selfishness, the condescension.
Instead, he looks at you with wounded eyes, “You don’t want children with me?”
“What? That’s not what I said.”
He pauses, Adam’s apple bobbing as he gulps. The oven continues to hum softly in the background, its built-in timer clicking at equal intervals. In a different context, it might have given you a sense of peace, but right now it feels mocking. Your time is almost up.
“Spencer, that’s not what I said, honey.”
“Yeah, I heard you.” he turns back to the salad.
You watch him helplessly, searching for any way to bring him back to you.
“You kept asking about my mom,” he murmurs, “It’s not that I didn’t want you to meet her, it’s that, it’s—well, she’s in a home. A– a mental facility. She’s schizophrenic.”
This is not how you expected this conversation to go. “Spencer.”
“I guess, you know, that’s genetically passed down, and it’s no secret that my teammates suspect I’m on the spectrum, so my genetic makeup isn’t exactly the most desirable in terms of a partner with whom you would want to—to procreate.”
God, you wish he had been like most people and accused you of being a selfish bitch instead.
“No,” you gasp, crossing the space between you. His hand is cold when you wrap your fingers around it. Unfortunately, you don’t think you have any warmth to give. Your own hands are clammy, but you try anyway, tugging it away from the tongs he’s using to mindlessly swirl at the contents of the salad. “It’s not like that at all.”
“It’s not?”
“No. And I’m sorry about your mom, I–I’m sure this isn’t how you wanted to tell me about her.” the words feel futile, worthless. You’re entirely unprepared for something like this. He hasn’t told you much about Diana Reid, and you’d given him space, and now… now you understand why.
A beat as he considers. His body angles towards you now, his stance hunching forward into that familiar slouch you’ve come to love. You can’t tell if he’s relaxed or defeated, and that uncertainty burns in the back of your throat. “So you just don’t—”
“I don’t want kids, plain and simple. It’s got nothing to do with your genes, or your suspected autism, I just…” You falter, hands tightening over his own. You wish you could be more eloquent, but there’s so much uncertainty, so many truths being dropped in the span of minutes. You wait for more questions, for the inevitable but aren’t you worried about your legacy? Wouldn’t you get lonely? Motherhood is fulfilling for women. Sentiments you always get when you share this particular choice.
You prepare your arsenal of responses, defenses you’ve practiced and perfected throughout the years, ready for any attempts to make you change your mind.
Somehow, he manages to choose the most devastating response instead. Muttering so quietly you almost don’t catch it, Spencer says, “But I do.”
You wonder how you got this long without ever talking about this? How had you gone five months with him, allowed yourself to let your walls down and fall in love, memorized the scars and calluses all over his body without ever discussing the topic of children? It seems silly, most people talk about that stuff from the get go, don’t they? To see if they would be compatible in the long run?
But you’ve never had that before, the luxury of future plans. You’ve come to accept that the floor will inevitably collapse beneath your feet, that your time with someone will run out. When you’re used to having an expiry date, you don’t bother to make plans. The only way to survive is to live in the moment. Cinderella and her midnight curfew.
“Oh.” It’s a filler word, but the silence is beginning to get to you. You stare at your entwined hands. His thumb is running back and forth across your knuckles, the action familiar and soothing, and allow yourself a moment to believe, to hope, that there’s time left for this. That time would never run out.
His next words break your heart even more, “I know it’s silly, especially with how much risk is involved. With my job, my—”
“It’s not silly at all, Spence.” you gulp, trying to push past the lump in your throat as you remember how he acts around his godson Henry in those rare times he’s had to babysit, “You’d make a great dad.”
“You’d make a great mom too.”
“Spencer.”
“I’ve seen you with your own nephews. You’re great with kids.”
“Don’t—”
“I’m not trying to change your mind,” he finally pulls you in, lips finding the top of your head, “I respect your choice, I do. I’m sorry that I seem like I’m pressuring you.”
“You’re not,” it’s even harder to catch your breath when your face is pressed against him, but you don’t make a move. Losing air seems like a fair compromise if it means you get to feel his touch. The way this conversation went has you reeling, confused. You’d been prepared to defend yourself, to explain your choices and make him understand, potentially to argue. His respect and acceptance is an entirely different battlefield, but no less vicious.
With all the courage you can muster, you speak the words into existence even though you dread the answer. “Is this a deal breaker? Having children?”
He’s quiet. You wonder if this is even still a battlefield. You wonder if this is surrender, quiet and unassuming, a white flag raised before the fighting even began. If it is, then it stings, his soft acceptance. You almost find yourself wishing he’d try to convince you instead if it means he’ll fight for you more.
Your mind wanders back to Cinderella, the little game you’ve been playing, the way you’ve been holding out on the answer because it amuses you to hear the variety of interpretations and musings he’ll come up with. You promised yourself you’d tell him when the time is right, but now you’re afraid he’ll never get the answer. It feels useless, the cat and mouse you’ve developed, not when you’re faced with a real, human issue. A difference in life goals. Something communication potentially couldn’t fix.
His heart is drumming relentlessly against your cheek. It brings you some sick sense of comfort, knowing that he’s just as terrified as you are.
“Spencer?” Is this the end? Please don’t let this be the end, please don’t be another good thing I lose.
The timer on the oven dings, piercing in the tense silence. Your midnight curfew has come. Dinner is ready.

EARNED IT | MATTHEW STURNIOLO.
read the series here
THE EPILOGUE.
Seven years.
It’s been seven years since your world changed- since Matt became yours.
Sometimes, it feels like it happened just yesterday. Other times, it feels like a lifetime ago.
But no matter how much time has passed, one thing has never changed- Matt still looks at you like you hung the moon.
Your life together has been everything and more.
A Home, A Life, A Family
You graduated high school, then college. You moved in with Matt. You built a life together.
Matt always told you he’d take care of you, that he’d give you everything. And he kept his word.
Now, you live in a beautiful home, not too far from where you both grew up but far enough that it’s yours.
It’s got huge windows, a spacious backyard Matt swears he’s going to turn into a rink in the winter, and a spare room that- well, isn’t so spare anymore.
Because after four years together, you had your daughter.
She’s a mini Matt in every possible way- his beautiful blue eyes, his attitude, his ability to charm the entire world with a single smirk. But she has your heart- the perfect mix of you two.
And Matt? He adores her.
He’s the kind of dad that melts the second she so much as looks at him. The kind that lets her paint his nails, the kind that chases her around the house when she demands he play princess tag, the kind that refuses to let her go to bed without reading to her.
She has him absolutely wrapped around her little finger.
And your brother? He’s obsessed with her.
She’s his favorite person, the kid he spoils rotten, the one he brags about to literally everyone.
And of course, he’s already put her in hockey lessons.
Which Matt pretends to be offended about.
“She’s too young to be in a league!” he argued when your brother first signed her up.
“She’s four, Matt. She’s barely learning to skate.”
“Exactly.”
But despite all of his protests, he was still the first one on the ice with her, still the one tying her skates, still the one beaming with pride when she managed to stay upright for more than five seconds.
Matt acts all tough. But when it comes to her? He’s a complete softie. The same when it comes to you.
And now? Now, you’re expecting a baby boy. Your son. Matt is over the moon.
Talks to your belly every night, swears your baby boy is gonna be the next NHL star.
Which, speaking of- Matt’s doing what he always dreamed of.
He’s a defenseman in the NHL, drafted after years of hard work, pushing himself harder than anyone else, earning his spot.
And you? You made sure you could be by his side through it all.
You majored in sports management, now working alongside him, handling his contracts, sponsorships, career moves- everything.
At first, he wasn’t sure about it.
“You don’t have to do that, angel. You should do something for you.”
But you had just smiled, running your fingers through his hair, calm, certain.
“Matt,” you had whispered. “You are my something.”
And that was it. He let you in.
Now, you go to every game. You’re the first person he sees when he skates off the ice.
And after every win, every loss, every hard-fought battle on the ice-
He comes home to you.
It wasn’t always perfect, though.
It took time for things to heal. For your brother and Matt to repair what was broken.
For a long time, it was tense. They wouldn’t talk. Your brother would barely acknowledge him.
Matt was never bitter about it, but you could tell it weighed on him.
That he hated how much he hurt your brother, that even though he wouldn’t change a thing about loving you, he still wished it hadn’t come at the cost of their friendship.
But you? You weren’t going to let them avoid each other forever.
It took a lot of convincing, a lot of pushing, but eventually-
They sat down.
They talked it out.
And your brother- grudgingly at first, but eventually fully- forgave him.
Now, it’s something they joke about.
They’ll tell the story at family gatherings- how your brother nearly killed him, how Matt thought he was gonna be buried in the backyard, how it’s the one time in his life he’s ever been truly scared.
He teases Matt constantly. Says he should’ve made him sign a contract before dating you, should’ve put him through a background check.
But at the end of the day- they’re fine.
They’re better than fine.
Your brother loves you. Loves Matt. Loves your daughter.
Matt takes it in stride, lets him get his jokes in, lets him run his mouth-
Because at the end of the day?
Matt won. He got you. And your brother knows damn well he treats you like gold.
Matt proposed after three years.
He didn’t do some grand, elaborate plan- didn’t need a crowd, didn’t need some huge, over-the-top gesture.
It was just the two of you, the way it’s always been.
He pulled the ring from his pocket, his blue eyes soft, steady, full of certainty.
“Marry me, angel.”
And of course you said yes.
Now, you wear his last name, his ring on your finger, his kids in your arms.
And yeah, you're not as innocent as you used to be. Not after years with him. Not after everything he's taught you.
But in his eyes?
You’ll always be his angel. His love. His everything.
Still have that wide-eyed sweetness, that soft, trusting nature that drove him insane all those years ago.
And as you sit curled up on the couch, your daughter asleep in Matt’s lap, his hand resting on your growing belly, feeling your son kick beneath his palm-
You know.
No matter how much time passes, no matter how much has changed- you’ll always be exactly where you belong.
And every night, when he tucks your daughter into bed, kisses your growing belly, and wraps you up in his arms-
He knows.
He'd do it all over again just to get here.
Because nothing in this world is better than loving you and saying you've earned it, would be an understatement.
The End.

i blinked and suddenly, i had a valentine!
— valentines with nagi and sae
folow @itoshiluvbot …. number one sae lover she on the floor rn while i type this…
nagi never liked valentines days. florists would be more pushy than usual, insisting that he should buy a rose for that someone special, and wouldn’t let him cross to school. so troublesome, honestly. not to mention how a bunch of girls would be slipping treats and love letters into reo’s locker. they’d always try to vy for his attention, specially on valentines, so now he doesn’t have anyone to hang out with!
well, no one else but you. on days such as valentines, you’d complain all day about how you had no one who loved you, it was a bit bothersome hearing the same thing every year. so this year, he decided to fix that.
he went out of his way to buy you a tiny box of chocolate— one of those expensive brands with different flavors that all really just taste the same. nagi knew that it was more or less a scam for boyfriends who want to buy their girlfriend something special, but nagi had a feeling you’d pout if it was one of those cheap brands chocolates from the convenience store.
right. you’d be the one who would be sad. it definitely just wasn’t nagi unable to show you that he does care for you, and him doing it by buying you the more luxurious options.
…anyway, he also bought you those bottled milk teas you love so much. the ones that he also likes to take sips out since it’s so tasty. one taste of it, and he’s always back to your favorite convenience store where the two of you would hang out. he’d play his video games while resting his head on your shoulder, and you’d write your essay while eating your cup noodles. it was all so simple, yet so perfect.
“nagi, pleaseeeee… be my valenhuzz…” you whined, sitting beside him on the staircase as he played his video games. “what does that even mean? the slang lately is so weird.” he sighed. “hmmm… you’re right, i miss skibidi toilet.” you shrugged, all before groaning to yourself. god, valentines was seriously hell on earth for single people.
nagi nodded, knowing the cause of your grief, and— …put his game down?! he lightly dropped his console to the side, letting his character get pummeled with bullets. he dug his hands into the holes of his absurdly large hoodie pocket, and pulled out a box of luxury chocolate and a bottle of milk tea.
“…for you” he mumbled, handing the gifts over to you. your heart swelled like the strings of a quartet at a genuine act of kindness from nagi seishiro, and you couldn’t help but wrap your arms around him.
“oof!” he grunted, caught more than off-guard by your side hug. “nagi! you’re so freakin’ sweet!” you squealed, your cuteness aggression kicking in. all you want to do is just take a bite out of nagi! “…it wasn’t too bothersome. i didn’t want you to be sad this valentines.” he muttered.
“ahah! so, you are my valenhuzz!” you snickered proudly, pumping your fist. “i— umm, sure... as long as we just spend today in my dorm.” he shrugged, exasperatedly shaking his head. you were awfully pushy when it came to the things you wanted, and it seems that today, that thing was him. it was too bothersome to fight you when you were like this, so it was easier to just agree with you.
“really—?!” you asked, you didn’t really expect him to agree! “…yeah, i’m not busy today, so i’ll be your valentine.” he hummed tiredly.
ah… you never thought this would’ve happened, but at least you aren’t forever alone anymore.
“come over.” was the only thing sae said in his text. as you went up to his apartment door, you felt nervous. this could’ve been a number of things. a booty call? a date? all of this on valentines no less. this was the first year he hadn’t asked you to be his valentine. even after 5– almost 6— years together, you could never read his mind, he just texts too ominously.
you knock on the door. and without a beat skipped, sae opens the door. he’s in an apron, looking like a househusband. hahah, how cute of him!
sae quickly moves to the side, making way for you to enter. “come in.” he hums, leading you in. inside, a display is before you. an actual candlelight dinner. a fried chicken cutlet served on the side of a cheesy pesto pasta. god, just looking at it made your mouth water.
“happy valentines, amorcita.” he whispers, his breath tickling your ear as he rests his jaw on your shoulder. he observes the shocked look on your face and scrunches his eyebrows. “why do you look so surprised? i do something like this every year, don’t i?” his head tilts.
you couldn’t really refute him— maybe your reason for thinking otherwise was a bit silly now. “i mean… yeah..! but, you didn’t ask me to be your valentines this year…” you pout, frowning like a child. sae scoffed, “you’re my valentines every year. why would it change this year?”
he raised an eyebrow, small creases forming at the edge of his lips as he tries to hide the smile on his lips. he uses his thumb to slide along the sharp edge of your jaw, admiring how the flames shone in the reflection of your eyes. “you’re being silly, amorcita. but if it makes you feel better…” he sighs, “will you be my valentine?” he asked.
you laughed at the seriousness of his tone. no matter the situation, he had a voice that made you want to listen attentively as if it’d be the last thing he says to you. you nodded softly,
“yes, i’ll be your valentine, sae.” you breathlessly sighed, humming your words as it reverberates back onto his lips in a soft, meaningful kiss.

how dreamies would react to your first kiss

PAIRING ▸ bestfriend/friend!dreamies x reader
TAGS ▸ none, enjoy the fluff <3
AUTHOR’S NOTE ▸ requested by anon! reader + dreamies aren't in established relationship yet.

Mark Lee
Mark’s first kiss with you happens by accident. You were both hanging out in his place together, playing video games. Exhausted, you decided to rest your head on his shoulder, creating very little distance between your faces. So Mark gave into his internal instincts, placing his lips directly on yours, startling both you and himself, “Oh, I’m so sorry that is totally my fault… umm…” He quickly pulls away, embarrassed, but instead of being mad, you stare at him dead serious, “Mark Lee. Shut up and do that again.” His eyes widen at your words, but his face slowly relaxes into a bright smile. He gladly complies with your request, more than once.
Huang Renjun
Renjun had invited you out to his favorite cafe. You two were having such a fun time, before Renjun noticed a couple of crumbs near your lips. He inched a bit closer, squinted, and used his fingers to swipe them off. It was now or never. With your faces so close together, you had to take this chance. Taking a deep breath, you grab his face and lean in for the kiss. Renjun was expecting this however, and he reacted to the kiss immediately closing his eyes. When you finally pulled apart he stared at you breathlessly, “Did I tell you, that you’re beautiful?” His soft hands reach up to gently cup your cheek with the sweetest smile you had ever seen. God how you loved his smiles.
Lee Jeno
Jeno found himself in a quite embarrassing and stressful situation. He had taken you to the carnival, since none of your other friends wanted to go. In the blink of an eye you found yourselves on the ferris wheel. You sat together, no words being said, but the discomfort on his face was obvious. You grabbed his hand and gently squeezed it. Jeno looked down at you from the corners of his eyes, he smiled. "Are you nervous?" You asked him. Jeno nodded, feeling the embarrassment rushing to his cheeks. You pulled him in close, “Just focus on me, instead.” You both leaned in for the kiss, drunk on the smell of one another. When you two finally pulled apart, Jeno looked into your eyes sparkling. If this was what heaven felt like, he would be perfectly content to remain here forever.
Lee Donghyuck
Haechan was shocked. Not only had you repeatedly denied his affections for the past year, but you had also managed to evade his playful kisses as well. Then you did it yourself. It came at him out of nowhere, and he had little time to react. “You kissed me.” He paused, then repeated again, “You kissed me?” He stared at you in disbelief. You only grinned in response, giggling at his confusion. “Does this mean…?” Haechan looked at you nervously, but then his face eased after he saw your smile. He pointed to his lips, puckering them up, and leaning in once more, eyeing you with puppy dog eyes, “Again?” (his kiss was once again rejected.)
Na Jaemin
Jaemin had been waiting patiently for you to make a move on him. You two had been spending more time together than usual, and he hoped that the feeling was mutual, but didn’t want to make any assumptions. Then one day, Jaemin watched as you plopped yourself in front of him, stood up on your tippy-toes, and placed a quick and soft cheek on his lips. He returned the kiss, but not before wrapping his hands around your waist, and picking you up in a swift motion. You found yourself making a fuss and squirming around in his arms, but Jaemin ignored all your protests, placing butterfly kisses on your face, until his lips met yours in another, this time, soft and meaningful kiss.
Zhong Chenle
Chenle and you always bickered. You hated how arrogant he was at times. As much as you sometimes hated his guts, you couldn’t help but begin to start seeing the crazy tension you two had when arguing. Sometimes you just wanted to silence that loud mouth of his. That handsome, sometimes endearing, sometimes cocky grin. Until you couldn’t take it anymore. “If you hadn’t- mmh…?” You grabbed Chenle’s collar pulling him in quickly, and pressed your lips over his, silencing his protests. His eyes lit up in surprise, but you could feel his lips slowly turn into a smirk, as he kissed you back. “Took you long enough.”
Park Jisung
Jisung was comforting you, as you vented out all your frustrations to him, right in the middle of his living room floor. Jisung wasn’t sure why, but for some reason you always came to him when you wanted to vent. He was always bad with expressing things with his words, so you often found yourself buried into his arms, embraced in warm tight hugs. Today, Jisung was feeling a bit more bold. Bolder than usual. He placed his hand on your cheek and suddenly leaned in for a kiss. You felt your shoulders relax, and the tension you had from earlier started to release. He leaned in, pressing your head against his shoulders whispering in your ears, “I will always remain by your side. I will be here for eternity, just for you.” And somehow, through his love for you, he found the right words to say.

It’s Nice to Have A Friend - Jschlatt
Part 1
Reader has been lonely their whole life. They have never been in a relationship. They don’t understand why no one will love them but their best friend, Schlatt has always been in love with them.
Masterlist
From a young age, you have always been a hopeless romantic. Your favorite content always revolves around romance of some sort. You even have had your wedding planned since you went to your first wedding at merely six years old. Your plans are forever cemented on a Pinterest board that you continue to add to about monthly. I mean your taste has changed since 2015, but some things still remain true.
The only problem is that you haven’t got to experience romance yourself. At the ripe old age of 25, you have never been in a relationship. You have had your first kiss, but it wasn’t magical. You only did it because you hated being the college kid who had never kissed anyone. You slightly regret it, but at least it was out of the way.
The only good thing is that at least you have a best friend who you made a marriage pact with. You and your best friend Schlatt, met in middle school. When you were both sad and single in high school, you made a pact that if neither of you were married by 40, you would get married. It was just a silly thing that you both constantly laugh about.
When you met Schlatt in middle school, the two of you immediately hit it off. You saw Schlatt sitting by himself one day and decided to sit by him. You had a few classes with him and thought he seemed like a cool dude. At first he acted like he wanted to be alone, but you learned soon after that he really didn't have many friends. The two of you learned you had a lot in common. You both loved Nintendo, especially Mario Kart as well as computer games.
The one difference is you loved all things romance whereas Schlatt only cared about gaming and baseball. The really fucked up thing about the universe is that Schlatt has had multiple relationships while you remain single. His relationships usually never lasted, but it was still strange. The universe also made you bisexual and you still somehow manage to be lonely. But at least you had your best friend, Schlatt and that stupid marriage pact.
The hardest moment for you was when Schlatt decided to move to Austin, Texas. It was the longest and farthest apart you have ever been from each other. You knew it was good for career and would help him grow his channel, but it sucked being apart for so long. Thankfully, Schlatt made the decision to come back home to New York. When he came back, it was like nothing changed. You had your best friend back and nothing could make you happier.
Most of your nights lately have been spent hanging out at Schlatt’s apartment playing Mario Kart like you did as kids. Tonight was no different. Schlatt was playing as a Villager and you were playing as Cat Peach. “I tried downloading Tinder again,” you say, randomly.
“Why?” Schlatt asked, his eyes located on the screen.
“Maybe there’s someone new. We live in New York. Who knows who might have moved here? Maybe my soulmates!”
“Toots, how many times do I have to tell you? One, your soulmate is not going to be on tinder and two, you’re better off with a true New Yorker than some new kid that wants to make it on broadway or some shit.”
You sigh. “Oh my god, but imagine they are on broadway! You know my love for musical theatre! Maybe we need to go watch a show. The lead being so into their part locks eyes with me and we realize we are truly in love like the characters on the stage.”
Schlatt lets out a small laugh while rolling his eyes. “You are ridiculous, (Y/N),” he says, looking at you.
“You’re just mad that I’m kicking your ass right now.”
“You wish, Fucker,” he says, his competitive spirit coming back.
The two of you continue playing until you both decide you're hungry, so Schlatt orders pizza from your favorite place. “You staying the night?” Schlatt asks, grabbing the Bénédictine bottle and a few solo cups.
“Might as well. It’s the weekend after all,” you say, pouring the liquor into your cup.
“The guest room is always open for you. However, the cats have made it their own, so they might sleep with you.”
“It would be nice to have someone or something laying beside me even if it is just cats. I did always say I was going to be the crazy cat person, but the tables have seemed to turn,” you joke.
“I’m a very proud cat dad. They make great content and the ladies love them,” Schlatt says, moving his eyebrows.
You laugh at him. You miss the way his smiles grow with each laugh that leaves your mouth. “Did I tell you I started a new hobby?” You ask him.
“No? How do you have the time to have another hobby? What happened to crocheting or reading or shipping random men together?”
“I’m still doing all those things and I ship people of all genders. Anyways, I started coloring.”
“Coloring? Like with crayons?” He asks, not in a malicious way, but with genuine curiosity.
“No, with alcohol markers and white gel pens to add highlights. I saw it on TikTok of course and it’s been really fun. It’s also very stress relieving.”
“Can I see some of your finished work?” He asks, his eyes not breaking contact with yours.
“Oh yeah, sure,” you say, pulling your phone out. Sometimes you find it strange how Schlatt actually cares about your hobbies and various interests. He never makes you feel bad about it. He just lightly teases you, but you know that’s just how he is.
Schlatt looks at the pictures you took of the pages you have colored. “Awe I love the little kitty. They are cute! This is really impressive, Toots. It looks like you printed these out. Maybe next time you come over, you should bring your markers and we can color together. Mine won’t be near as good as yours, but I bet it would be fun,” Schlatt says.
You hold your pinky out and Schlatt wraps his around yours. “I’m holding you to that, Big Guy.”
“You know I’d never break a pinky promise. You bring the markers and I’ll bring the Bénédictine.” The marriage pact was formed on a pinky promise and that makes your heart feel warm.
You hear the doorbell ring and realize that your pinkies are still connected. You quickly get up to go answer the door. You see a very handsome man holding the pizza boxes. “Here’s your pizza,” he says. “It’s not everyday that I deliver to someone so pretty.” He winks at you.
“You’re too nice. Hold on, let me grab your tip,” you smile, turning around. You see Schlatt and he hands you a ten dollar bill. “Thank you.”
“Sorry I didn’t realize you had a boyfriend. I couldn’t have flirted with you if I knew,” the guy apologizes.
“He’s not-“ you start.
“Don’t worry about it, dude,” Schlatt says, grabbing the pizza and handing him the money. “Have a good night.” Schlatt closes the door. He goes to the kitchen to grab plates before coming back to the living room.
“What was that?” You ask him.
“What? I just finished what you were going to say. That guy also was probably a high schooler.”
You just decide to not push it any further, knowing that Schlatt is probably right. “What movie do you want to watch?” You ask.
“As long as it’s not a musical, I don’t care what we watch. I recommend Tokyo Drift, but you’re the guest,” Schlatt says, with a piece of pizza in his mouth.
“We can watch Tokyo Drift. It’s been awhile since you picked the movie.”
Schlatt smiles at you. “Thanks Bub.” He puts the movie on.
It doesn’t take long for you to pass out. Schlatt knew it was inevitable. You usually fall asleep during a film and with liquor and pizza on your belly, it’s no surprise when he hears your soft snores. Your head makes its way on Schlatt’s shoulders. He smiles at you and he feels his heart start to race. He wishes you weren’t so hard on yourself and saw how amazing you were.
After about twenty minutes, he realized that you were pretty much out. Instead of having you sleep on the couch, he gently picks you up, bridal style and carries you to the guest bedroom. He carefully lays you down and places the blanket over you. He watches in awe as jambo cuddles beside you. When he knows you’re definitely asleep, he kisses your forehead. “I love you. Sleep tight, Toots,” he says, cleaning up the living room before going to his bed. Schlatt wishes you were laying beside him. He would hold you tight and never let you ever think you were incapable of being loved. He falls asleep, happy with the fact that you are asleep in his house and not with someone who doesn’t deserve you.

Prompt: “Can I kiss you?”
Isaac Lahey X Reader Pt. 2
TW; None?
Word Count: 1341
Part One
AN: I decided to finally write part 2! I cant say its the most favorite thing I have written but I no longer hate everything about it! Enjoy!
That night you asked Isaac for his jersey so you could wear it to school. All the players' girlfriends wear their away jerseys to school the day of the game. This caught him off guard but he obliged with a wide smile on his face. He didn't want to admit it, but he has been dreaming of seeing you wearing his jersey since he joined the team.
Walking into school you spot Matt walking towards you from the other end of the hall. Thankfully, you see Isaac standing at his locker talking to Scott and Stiles. ‘Perfect’ you think and walk up beside Isaac with a huge smile on your face. You lean up on your tiptoes giving him a kiss on the cheek. “Good morning.” You hum sweetly intertwining your fingers in with him and smile at the boys across from you.
Isaac is surprised as he stammers out “Uh- G-good morning.” His face is flushed and he's grateful you don't have werehearing as you would be able to hear the fast beat of his heart. You have always had this effect on him though.
“About time!” Stiles exclaims patting Isaac on the shoulder while walking away with a laugh, making you roll your eyes at the spastic boy. Matt pauses taking in the sight before him. You can barely make out the angry expression on his face, before he continues on down the hall.
You hangout listening to the boy talk about the next supernatural creature trying to kill us all. As the bell rings, you tell Isaac you will see him later and once again kissing his cheek and walking away to your first class.
Once you walk away your brain won't stop buzzing. Did you really just kiss Isaac? Why have you waited all this time to be this close to him?
“What the hell was that?” Scott asks Isaac, pulling him from his obvious stare of your ass, as you walk down the hall. Isaac furrows his brows. “W-what are you talking about? We--uh. We are dating.” Isaac explains unconvincingly, while scratching the back of his neck.
Scott laughs, dramatically wiping a fake tear from under his eye. “Right. You’re dating Y/N. Sure. You know I can tell when you're lying right?” Scott reminds him. With a heavy sigh, Isaac tells Scott the truth. That you needed his help to get Matt off of your back and that it was your idea.
“Dude, you're so screwed. You can't fake date Y/N. You're totally in love with her.” Annoyed with the truth in the words that his Alpha / best friend stated, he rolls his eyes. “I know. But she needed help. I can't say no to Y/N.” Isaac pauses, thinking about how good you looked in his jersey. “Plus, did you see how hot she looked in my jersey?” He adds with a sheepish smile.
Scott pats his back with a laugh, starting to walk to his next class. “You're hopeless.”
Isaac has to keep reminding himself of this favor. But he can't help that it is making him fall for you even more. When this is over he knows he will be forever ruined, as your touch will linger on his body forever.
The rest of the day went by in similar fashion. Every time you would spot Matt, you would immediately find Isaac and kiss his cheek, hug him, or even hold his hand. Anything to convince Matt you two are dating. Which in turn has convinced the whole school. Though, that wasn't hard as everyone either thought you two were already dating or waiting for you two to date.
You couldn't lie, everything about being this intimate with Isaac felt… Natural. Like this is something you two should have been doing for years.
The game starts soon and you go to your locker to put your books away. You see Matt walking towards you and you start frantically looking around the hall, then it hits you, Isaac is in the locker room getting ready.
Taking a deep breath you turn back to face Matt. “Oh. Hello Matt.” Matt smiles wide looking you up and down, sending a wave of nausea through you. Something about him has always given you the creeps. “Y/N! I've been trying to get you alone all day. It seems Isaac and you were attached at the hip today.”
“Well, yes. That makes sense since we are dating.” You laugh nervously, shutting your locker hoping you can get out of this conversation quickly. Matt's face drops a little “Well, that makes sense. I mean the way he looks at you--” You cut him off. “What do you mean? How does he look at me?”
He laughs “He has always looked at you like you're the only person in the world. It's obvious he's in love with you. I just thought you weren't interested in him.”
During the whole game you had to keep reminding yourself that this was just to get Matt off your back. But now that he knows, you two can stop… But did you actually want to stop?
There's only 4 seconds left on the clock and Scott passes to Isaac. Knowing that he can hear you with his werehearing, you stand up cheering loudly for your best friend boyfriend. He dodges the two players coming after him and throws the ball at the net. The buzzer goes off just as the ball is in the air. It's as if everything is in slow motion, then slap. The ball makes it in the net.
The crowd goes wild. Allison is cheering for Scott, Lydia for Stiles. And you. For Isaac. Before you can think about what you're doing, you're running to the field heading straight for Isaac. Sensing you're near he rips his helmet off and opens his arms wide with that big goofy grin that you love on his face.
His hair is covered in sweat sticking to his head but you can't seem to bring yourself to care. You wrap your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist as he catches you and spins you around. When you start to pull away you look into his ocean blue eyes. When he looks down at you, you see the love in his eyes. The way that he will do anything for you, and you him.
Ignoring the hammering of your heart, your hands snake up into his hair, pulling gently off the shorter strands on his neck. You swear you can hear him groan as you lean your head in and your lips meet his. The butterflies in your stomach expand, reaching every part of your body as you both move incense.
Isaac feels as if the world stops and it's as if you're the only two on the field. His hands move from around your back down to hold tightly onto your ass, keeping you flush against him. He doesn't know what brought on this show of affection, but who is he to deny the girl he loves.
Swallowing the anxiety bubbling within, you slowly lean your forehead down to Issacs. “Y/N, can I kiss you?” He whispers. His heart is beating faster than it ever has before. He is sure that Scott will give him shit for it later, but at this moment, he cant find himself to care. Being here, holding his best friend girlfriend, in his arms. This is the only place he would rather be.
Without thinking, you immediately smash your lips to his. You can barely make out the cheers from your friends around you. All that you are able to focus on is Isaac. The way his lips move perfectly against yours, his hands on your ass.
When you both finally pull away and he puts you down, you keep your hands around his neck. “So…. Are we not pretending anymore?” You ask breathlessly looking up into his bright blue eyes, trying your hardest not to get lost in them.
“I never was.” He breaths.

୨୧ those nights ; cb98
➪ summary: connor's favorite thing about having his girlfriend in chicago is the nights he gets to come home to her
➪ warnings: none
➪ word count: 1.1k
➪ cupid's notes: i completely forgot i wrote this. just a little fic (it's basically a blurb but i wrote like 50 words over a thousand so by my definition it's not) anyway, i hope you guys a short connor little thing today!
© cupidbedsy ; do not copy, repost, or translate my work and designs on any other website or here
Dating the first overall pick was an experience, to say the least. Y/n and Connor had been dating since they were sixteen and she was by his side every step of the way through his hockey career.
When they knew where Connor was going to be drafted, the two of them got this sinking feeling in their stomachs. They didn’t want to do long distance, it would be too hard on both of them. However, there was something that y/n never told Connor.
She applied to the University of Illinois-Chicago on a whim. She didn’t think she would get in, so she didn’t see the point in telling her boyfriend about it. Yet, when she got her acceptance letter, she was troubled. She had never seen the campus, knew nothing about Chicago in general, she didn’t know what classes she would have to take.
But, when she thought about the other schools she had looked at, none of them even compared to being just down the street from where Connor would be every day that he wasn’t on a road trip. None of them were worth being so far away from her boyfriend.
A week after she got her letter she sat Connor down to talk. Connor didn’t like the way y/n sounded when she said, ‘I need to talk to you’.
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
“Con, I need to talk to you.”
Connor’s eyebrows furrowed and sat down on y/n’s couch holding her hand as y/n looked around anxiously.
“Are you breaking up with me?”
“What, no, of course not. There’s just something I have been keeping from you.”
“I don’t know if I should be relieved or more nervous now.”
Y/n laughed nervously, “No, uh. You know how we were talking about how we didn’t want to do long distance?”
“Yeah?”
“We might not have to.” Y/n handed the envelope to her boyfriend and watched his reaction nervously.
Connor had a confused look on his face as he looked at his girlfriend and then at the envelope. He opened and his face was met with the UIC causing him even more confusion.
“You applied to Chicago?” Y/n just nodded her head and urged him to keep reading.
He only had to scan a few lines before he was standing up and looking at the girl, “You got in?”
“Mhm.” Before he celebrated he contemplated the situation. He didn’t want her to move to Chicago just because he was going to be there. He loved her and he wanted her to be there, but he didn’t want her to give up her life for him.
“But what about-”
“‘But what about’ nothing, Connor. I love you and I want to be with you. And if that means going to Chicago with you, I will. Chicago has something no other school doesn’t.”
“What?”
“You, you big dope.”
ₓ˚. ୭ ˚○◦˚.˚◦○˚ ୧ .˚ₓ
Connor was forever grateful that she kept that secret from him. If he knew that she applied to UIC and didn’t get in, he would be devastated. However, there were ups and downs to being there in Chicago. Connor rarely saw y/n despite her being just down the street from the UC.
Any time he had an off day, she would have class and anytime she didn’t have class, he would have practice or a game. It was the luck of the draw when they got to be with each other. At points in time, they both thought it would’ve been better if they just stayed in their respective cities.
Overall, those cons were outweighed by the pros. When Connor had a rough day he could literally walk to her apartment to the UC, though he never did. And when y/n had her rough days, she would call Connor and they could be at each other's places within minutes. Though most days when they had a night game, or any game really, Connor ended up staying at her apartment.
That was what happened tonight. Y/n was watching the game from her apartment, she had lucked out with only getting one roommate and she had gone home for the break. It was the Friday after Thanksgiving and y/n didn’t particularly want to go home, spending time with Connor was enough for her.
They had played the Leafs and Kevin scored the overtime goal with an assist from Connor. She had cheered so loudly that she was glad that almost everyone had gone home for the break. She watched post-game live including the interviews and everything that went along with it. When it was done, she turned on the Vancouver game as background noise while she added some food for her and Connor along with some cookies for later.
She truly had no way of knowing when and if Connor was coming back tonight, but she knew him. She sort of blacked out from the end of the game to when Connor came in through the door, causing her to jump when she heard the sound of his bag against the floor.
“Hey, Con.”
“Hi.” He took off his suit jacket and his hat, his cheeks rosy from the of Chicago.
“Thought you guys would be celebrating.” Y/n turned around from where she was stirring at the stove.
“They offered but cuddling with you was much more tempting.” He wrapped his arms around her waist and dropped his head onto her shoulder, “Whatcha making?”
“Soup and I went out and got a bunch of stuffing, because why not.”
“Thank you.” She turned her head and kissed his cheek, “Always.”
Connor went to shower and change as she finished making their food. The two sat and ate dinner while watching the game, talking about whatever came to mind. Connor was going to go shopping with her tomorrow even though Black Friday was today. They were going to buy Christmas decorations so they could decorate her room and part of the main area of the apartment.
When they were done and the game was done, they climbed under the covers of her bed, Connor wrapping his arms around her as she laid her head on his chest.
“I’m proud of you.”
“For what?”
“Your OT goal assist. Con that was amazing.”
Connor shrugged and tightened his hold.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
And that’s how almost every game night is spent for Connor and y/n. Those nights were their favorite.

CHAPTER TWO ━━ Quickly-Growing-Maybe-Soon-Best-Friend
❀ ━ pairing: paige bueckers x oc (jo jacobson)
❀ ━ word count: 3.6K
❀ ━ warnings: allusions to sex but not much
❀ ━ links: my masterlist, nobody gets me masterlist
❀ ━ author’s note: paige is so down bad already and girl doesn’t even realize it…….. also my bad this is such a filler
PAIGE THINKS she might be in love with Jo Jacobson.
Not like that, of course. It’s not romantic, not even close. It’s more of an “I think this person is becoming my favorite human” kind of thing. Paige can’t really explain it, but there’s just something about Joand these past three weeks of living together have only solidified it.
From the first night in their shared apartment, when they’d sat on the couch in their living room in awkward silence, to now, where there’s never really any silence at all, one of them constantly talking the others ears off like they’ve known each other forever. Paige has always been the kind of person to warm up to others quickly, her extroverted energy practically bursting out of her, but Jo? Jo’s a little quieter, slightly more reserved. She’s not shy by any means, but there’s a certain softness to her that makes Paige want to protect her from anything and everything.
Paige adores that softness. Jo’s the kind of person who makes you feel calm just by being near her, like she has this invisible aura that radiates peace. She’s always smiling—bright and genuine, like she’s just happy to be here, happy to exist. Paige can’t help but smile back whenever Jo’s around. It’s infectious, really.
Truthfully, their personalities shouldn’t blend as well as they do—Paige’s loud, chaotic voice nervy should theoretically overwhelm Jo’s somewhat quieter demeanor—but somehow, it works. They’ve fallen into this easy rhythm of teasing each other, sharing random late-night thoughts, and laughing until their stomachs hurt over the dumbest things.
Like last week, when Jo walked in on Paige attempting to balance her basketball on her head for no reason other than she was bored. Instead of questioning it, Jo just laughed so hard she almost fell over, and then proceeded to try it herself. They spent the next several minutes in a competition over who could balance it the longest, which, for the record, Jo totally won. Paige pretended to be mad, but she wasn’t. She was too busy fighting back a grin as she watched Jo laugh loudly, making an L with her fingers and putting it right in front of Paige’s face.
Paige doesn’t know if she’s pushing it, but it’s been a while since she’s felt this connected to someone so quickly. Yes, she has her circle of close friends on the team—Azzi, Nika, Caroline, the list goes on—but there’s something different about Jo. Something special. Maybe it’s the way Jo listens so intently when Paige is ranting about some random topic. Or the way she’s always down to join Paige for a late-night shooting session, no questions asked. Or maybe it’s just the way Jo seems to understand Paige, even without her having to say much at all.
And don’t even get Paige started on their on-court chemistry. It’s almost ridiculous how well they mesh. They’re both natural point guards, which should make things complicated, but instead, it’s like they just get each other. During practices and scrimmages, it feels like Paige always knows where Jo is without having to look, and vice versa. They’ve perfected this unspoken language of no-look passes and perfectly timed cuts, and it’s perfect. Paige is convinced that when the season starts in November, they’re going to be unstoppable.
Today, they’re matched up against each other in their five-on-five, full-court scrimmage. Paige thrives in this environment, where the game is fast and physical, where every decision has to be made in a split second.
Right now, though, Jo is making Paige work.
Jo has the ball at the top of the key, her dribble steady and deliberate as she surveys the court. Paige crouches low in her defensive stance, her arms extended, her gaze locked on Jo’s every move. Jo’s face is calm, composed, but Paige can see the wheels turning. She’s looking for an opening, one Paige isn’t about to give her.
“Whatchu got, JoJo?” the blonde teases, voice light but goading.
Jo doesn’t take the bait, hardly even glancing at her, but Paige can see the corner of her mouth twitch like she’s fighting back a smile. It’s enough to make Paige grin, but she quickly suppresses it. She tells herself to focus.
Jo dribbles to her right, testing Paige’s reaction. Paige shifts with her, staying low and quick on her feet. Jo pivots, fakes left, then spins back to her right, her movements so smooth and seamless that Paige almost gets caught off guard. Almost.
The blonde recovers quickly, sliding her feet to cut Jo off, and the two of them are chest to chest now, close enough that Paige can hear Jo’s steady breathing. “Come on, freshie,” Paige whispers lowly, smirking, her tone playful but challenging.
Jo still doesn’t respond, focus unshakeable, not the type to yap on the court. She steps back, creating just enough space to pull up for a three. Paige jumps to contest, her hand outstretched, but the ball is already in the air. It arcs perfectly, hitting nothing but net.
As Jo lands, she jogs backward, prepared to get back on defense. But as she catches Paige’s eye, she sticks her tongue out at her. The gesture is quick, cheeky, and it makes Paige shake her head, biting back a grin. “Okay,” she mutters under her breath, “I see you.”
And she does. God, does she see her—and, God, does she understand why Jo was the number one recruit in the nation.
The next possession, Paige has the ball. She brings it up the court with that signature strut in her step, the kind that says she knows she’s about to make something happen. Jo’s in front of her, her stance low and her eyes locked on Paige like she’s dating her to try something.
Paige smirks. She loves a challenge.
She dribbles left, then crosses over to her right, her movements sharp and quick. Jo stays with her, her defense tight, and Paige feels a flicker of frustration. Jo’s good—really good. It’s annoying, but also exciting. Paige thrives on competition, and Jo is proving to be one of the best matchups she’s had in a while.
Paige steps back, her dribble steady, and sizes Jo up. She tilts her head for a second, blue eyes locked on brown. And then, in a flash, she’s driving to the basket, using her speed to get a step on Jo.
But Jo recovers fast, her arms reaching out to contest as Paige goes for the layup. The ball rolls off the backboard and through the net, and Paige lands with a triumphant grin. She turns to Jo, who’s already jogging back to the other end of the court.
“Close,” Paige calls after her. “But not close enough.”
Jo doesn’t say anything, just glances over her shoulder with a knowing smile that makes Paige’s chest tighten.
The scrimmage continues, and it’s a back-and-forth between Paige and Jo’s teams. On offense, Jo’s movements are deliberate and precise, her passes crisp and her shot deadly. Her connection with Dorka is impressive, the brunette getting past Paige’s defense too many times for her liking, sending the Hungarian dime after dime. On defense, Jo’s relentless, always in Paige’s space, always making her work for every point. And it only gets worse when Nika and Jo double-team her, two of the best defenders on their team.
But Paige gives as good as she gets. She uses her quickness and court vision to set up her teammates, threading passes through tight spaces and hitting open shooters. She drives to the basket with her usual confidence, finishing through contact.
At one point, Paige gets the ball on the wing, Jo right in front of her. She dribbles a few times, rocking back and forth like she’s deciding what to do. Then, with a sudden burst of speed, she blows past Jo and pulls up for a mid-range jumper. The hall swishes through the net, and Paige can’t help but shoot Jo a quick, cocky grin as she hits back on defense.
Jo shakes her head, her own smile breaking through despite herself. “Not bad,” she says softly, just loud enough for Paige to hear.
“Not bad?” Paige echoes, feigning offense. “That was textbook.”
Jo just laughs a little, her eyes crinkling at her corners, and Paige feels the need to fight back one of her own. She shoves it down, focusing on the game, but the need is there, lingering, buzzing at the edges of her thoughts.
By the end of the scrimmage, both of them are drenched in sweat, their faces flushed from exertion. Jo’s team wins by a single point, thanks to a clutch three she drains in Paige’s face.
As they walk off the court, Paige shakes her head, a mix of frustration and admiration swirling in her chest. “You’re lucky I like you,” she says, bumping Jo’s shoulder with her own.
Jo grins, glowing with the face of someone who’s just won. “You just can’t handle the face that I’m better than you,” she teases, nudging her back.
Paige laughs, rolling her eyes. “Oh, yeah, keep dreaming ‘bout that one.”
But as they head to the locker room, Paige can’t stop the smile that tugs at her lips. There’s something so effortless about it all—like Jo’s meant to be here, meant to be Paige’s teammate, her roommate, her… quickly-growing-maybe-soon-best-friend?
Paige thinks back to one of their conversations a few nights ago. Jo had been sitting cross-legged on the couch, scrolling through her phone while Paige was sprawled on the floor, eating Hot Cheetos, not paying any attention to the Grey’s Anatomy episode that was playing on the TV. They two of them had been talking about everything and nothing—summer classes, music, how gross Amari’s pasta was that she made the night prior. At one point, Jo had said something about how surreal it still felt to be here, with everyone, preparing to play Connecticut basketball.
Paige had looked up at her then, really looked at her, and felt this overwhelming sense of pride for someone she’s only known for a few weeks. Jo deserved to be here. She deserved every bit of success coming her way, and Paige couldn’t wait to see it all unfold.
And Paige thinks that again now, as they walk side by side, knowing how much Jo Jacobson’s managed to make herself matter to Paige within a few measly weeks. Once again, not in a romantic way—because Jo’s in love with that boy, and it’s looking like she’s about as straight as they come—but in a way that feels just as significant. Jo isn’t just her teammate or her roommate. She’s almost like her person, or at least, she’s quickly becoming something of the sort.
JO WAKES UP groggy, her body tangled in sheets that suddenly feel too warm. Her head pounds slightly, though not from drinking—she’d been stone-cold sober last night. No, her headache stems from the distinct lack of sleep caused loud, unmistakable sounds that had her burying her head under her pillow to drown them out. She stretches out in bed, her limbs tangling in the sheets as her brain sluggishly catches up to the morning.
The muffled, rhythmic noises that had bled through the thin apartment walls are still fresh in her memory, making her cringe and laugh all at once. Paige has been away some nights due to certain… activities… but yesterday was the first time she brought the activities home. Jo groans, dragging a hand over her face.
She grabs her phone off the nightstand, squinting at the brightness of the screen. 11:07 AM. Too late to justify staying in bed any longer but not quite late enough to feel and about sleeping in. With a sigh, she swings her legs over the side, her bare feet hitting the cold floor.
The idea of a run floats into her mind—something to shake off the sleep-deprivation gaze and clear her head. She pads over to her dresser, grabbing her tiny back Lululemon shorts that are probably a little too short for decency and a snug tank top that clings to her in all the right ways. She catches a glimpse of herself in the mirror as she ties her hair into a ponytail. Good enough.
If it was any other day, she’d knock on Paige’s door and ask if she wants to come along. They’ve started running together some mornings, and Paige’s competitive streak always makes it fun. But this morning, she doesn’t even consider it.
Jo knows Paige had company last night. Loud company. She rolls her eyes just thinking about it, fighting off a smirk. Paige wasn’t exactly subtle, and Jo doesn’t need the details to know what went down in the room across the hall. Whoever the girl was probably slept over, and the last thing Jo wants is to walk into Paige’s room and catch them in some awkward post-hookup moment.
With a sigh, she leaves her room and heads to the kitchen. The apartment is quiet now, a contrast to last night. Jo opens the fridge, pulling out what she needs to make herself a smoothie. As she gathers them, she shakes her head, still bemused by Paige’s complete lack of shame. It’s not like Jo’s a prude—she’s in a long-term relationship herself—but Paige’s ability to just… live her life so unapologetically is both baffling and oddly admirable.
Jo starts piling everything into the blender, her movements slow and deliberate as her tired bran catches up with her body. The faint hum of the apartment feels peaceful—until she hears the quiet freak of a door behind her.
Jo turns, expecting Paige, but her eyes widen slight at the sight of that greets her instead.
Celeste Sinclair.
The team’s media girl.
Jo blinks, not quite believing her eyes. Celeste looks like she’s just stumbled out of a damn tornado. Her fiery red hair sticks up in every possible direction, and her oversized T-shirt is unmistakably inside out. Her cheeks are flushed—whether from embarrassment or something else, Jo isn’t sure—and she’s moving with the caution of someone who really doesn’t want to be noticed.
Well, too late for that.
Jo bites the inside of her cheek to keep herself from outright laughing. Of all people, Paige chose her? It’s not like Jo’s judging—she’s not. But the sheer audacity of Paige hooking up with the team’s media girl is enough to make Jo want to burst out laughing. Like, she knows Paige is kind-of unapologetically a slut, but damn.
Celeste freezes when she sees Jo, her eyes widening like a deer caught in headlights. For a long moment, neither of them says anything, the awkward tension hanging thick in the air.
Finally, Jo decides to break the silence. “Hi, Celeste,” she says slowly, keeping her tone light and her smile as kind as possible. She’s not about to be rude—that’s not who she is—but the situation is so ridiculous it takes every ounce of self-control to not smirk, let alone cackle at the girl before her.
“Hi, Jo,” Celeste replies, her voice barely above a whisper. She shifts awkwardly, clearly mortified with the whole situation.
Jo glances back at the blender, pretending to focus on it to give Celeste a moment to collect herself. “Um…” Jo begins, trying to think of something to say that won’t make this worse. Keeping her tone as genuine as possible, she gestures to the blender and asks, “Do you want a smoothie?”
Celeste’s eyes widen even more, and she shakes her head so fast her hair bounces. “Thanks, but um—I’ve got to go,” she says, her words tumbling out in a rush. Without waiting for a response, she bolts for the door like her life depends on it.
It clicks shut behind her, and the apartment falls silent again. For a moment, Jo just stands there, staring at the spot where Celeste had been.
And then she loses it.
Jo leans over the counter, her forehead pressing against her folded arms as laughter shakes from her shoulder. She turns the blender on as she tries to stifle it, the sound of the mixing swallowing the sound of Jo’s giggles. The entire situation—the ungodly loud moans from last night, Celeste’s walk of shame, the inside-out shirt—is just too ridiculous.
She barely registers the sound of Paige’s door opening again until her roommate’s voice cuts through the hum of the blender.
“You gotta be doin’ that right now?” Paige asks groggily, her words slow and raspy from sleep.
Jo lifts her head slightly, peeking out between her fingers to see Paige standing there, rubbing her eyes with one hand and bracing herself against the doorframe with the other. Her hair is tied up in a messy bun at the nape of her neck, strands falling loose around her face. She’s wearing plaid pajama pants that hang low on her lips and a black Nike sports bra, her toned arms and midriff catching the faint morning light streaming through the blinds.
Jo doesn’t answer right away, partly because she’s still laughing and partly because her gaze catches on the faint purple mark blooming on the side of Paige’s neck.
That does it. Jo’s face drops back into her hands as another wave of laughter overtakes her, her shoulders shaking with the force of it.
“What’s funny?” Paige asks, her voice tinged with curiosity and laced with a tired, small smile that tugs at the corners of her lips. She crosses her arms loosely over her chest, leaning against the doorway as she watches Jo with a bemused expression.
It takes Jo a full minute to catch her breath. When she finally looks up, her cheeks ache from smiling, and her stomach feels sore from laughing so hard. She swipes at the corner of her eye, blinking away the last remnants of her amusement before finally answering.
“Celeste is crazy, P,” the brunette says, shaking her head as if she can’t quite believe it herself.
The effect is immediate. A pink flush creeps up Paige’s neck and into her cheeks, the color depending as she straightens up slightly. Her arms uncross, and she fidgets, her fingers curling against the hem of her pajama pants.
“You saw her?” Paige asks, her voice quieter now, almost hesitant. For a brief moment, Jo notices something she doesn’t usually associate with Paige: embarrassment. It’s subtle, but it’s there, a flicker of vulnerability in the way Paige avoids her eyes and rubs the back of her neck. It surprises Jo—the blonde has never seemed particularly guilty when discussing her extracurricular activities with their teammates, so why would this be any different?
“Heard her, too,” Jo says, her grin threatening to split her face. Her tone is teasing, light, but she doesn’t miss the way Paige’s blush deepens. Jo can’t resist pushing it just a little further. She leans forward, putting on her best mock-whiny impression of Celeste, and moans dramatically, “Paige! Oh, Paige, don’t stop!”
Paige’s eyes immediately widen in horror, and her mouth drops open in indignation. “Shut up!” she exclaims, grabbing the nearest thing she can find—Jo’s stuffed animal, Bubbles—and tossing it at her with as much force as she can muster.
Jo catches it with ease, still laughing as she hugs the plush turtle to her chest, feigning offense. “Hey! Don’t be throwing Bubbles like that,” she pouts, sticking her lower lip out in exaggerated mockery.
Paige rolls her eyes, muttering something under her breath as she shuffles toward the counter. She drops onto one of the barstools, her elbows propped up on the surface as she buries her face in her hands for a moment. When she looks up again, she’s rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly.
“Sorry,” she says softly, her voice tinged with genuine guilt. “I thought you’d be asleep.”
Jo arches a brow, her amusement softening into incredulity. “Literally nothing could’ve put me to sleep during that,” she deadpans, turning back to the blender and shutting it off.
Paige straightens up slightly, defensive now. “Well, you’ve always got your fuckin’ noise machine so loud. I thought that might drown it out!”
Jo shakes her head, still grinning. “Nothing could’ve drowned that girl out, P.” Her tone is teasing, but there’s no malice behind it. She doesn’t actually care—not really.
Paige frowns, mumbling, “Sorry,” again as she picks at the edge of the counter.
Jo places Bubbles down gently, her smile softening. “It’s okay,” she says, and she means it. Jo isn’t the type to hold grudges, especially not over something as silly as this. Besides, Paige’s bashfulness is almost endearing—it’s not a side of her Jo sees often.
She pours the smoothie into two glasses, sliding one across the counter toward Paige before taking a sip of her own. The cool, fruity flavor is refreshing, cutting through the heaviness of the morning.
“Get changed,” Jo says after a moment, her tone light and commanding. She flashes Paige a cheeky, sunshine-stained smile. “We’re going on a run.”
Paige groans, leaning back dramatically. “Do we have to?”
“Yes,” Jo replies, her grin widening. She lifts her glass in a mock toast before adding, “And you’re paying for my post-run cake pop.”
That earns her another groan and a half-hearted glare from Paige, but Jo knows she’s already won. The promise of Starbucks is enough to get Paige moving, even if she grumbles the whole way there.

The road stretches out before you, endless and open, a ribbon of asphalt cutting through rolling hills and golden fields. The sky above is a vast expanse of blue, streaked with wisps of white clouds, the kind that seem to drift lazily despite the world moving at its own steady pace. But beside you, in the driver’s seat, there is no laziness, no patience—just restless energy contained in the shape of Pietro Maximoff.
His fingers tap against the steering wheel, drumming a rhythm to the music humming softly from the radio. His foot bounces against the floorboard, betraying his natural instinct to move faster than the world allows. The speedometer remains at a legal pace, but you can tell it’s taking every ounce of restraint for him to keep it that way.
You glance at him, watching as he shifts in his seat, silver hair catching in the sunlight. He’s beautiful like this, in the daylight, in the quiet moments where there are no fights to be fought, no missions to complete—just him, just you, just the road. His lips curve into a smirk when he catches you staring.
“Something on my face, dragă?” he teases, his Sokovian accent wrapping around the affectionate word.
You roll your eyes but can’t help the small smile tugging at your lips. “Just making sure you’re actually paying attention to the road and not daydreaming about running instead.”
He scoffs, feigning offense. “I am an excellent driver. You wound me.”
You snort. “You almost ran a red light back in the last town.”
Pietro grins, shrugging one shoulder. “Almost. But I didn’t.”
You shake your head, leaning back into your seat, letting the warmth of the sun seep into your skin through the window. The car hums along the road, the engine a steady presence beneath you. It’s been hours since you left the city behind, and now the landscape is shifting—less concrete, more green, trees growing taller, nature reclaiming the space around you.
It was your idea to take this road trip. To get away from everything, even just for a while. No deadlines, no responsibilities, no running from danger or racing toward a crisis. Just the two of you, exploring, getting lost, taking the long way if you felt like it. Pietro, surprisingly, agreed without argument. You suspect it’s because he’d go anywhere with you, so long as you were by his side.
His hand suddenly reaches over, fingers lacing through yours. His skin is warm, always slightly buzzing, a contrast to the cool metal of the rings on your fingers. You squeeze his hand gently, and he brings yours up to his lips, pressing a kiss against your knuckles before resting your joined hands on his thigh.
“You still sure you can handle driving for this long?” you ask, tilting your head toward him. “I mean, it’s got to be torture for you.”
Pietro chuckles, shaking his head. “It’s worth it. If I run, you miss the journey. And I would rather be stuck in slow motion forever than miss a single second of this with you.”
Your chest tightens at his words, at the sincerity in his voice. No matter how much he jokes, no matter how much he acts like everything is easy and carefree, there’s a depth to his love that always leaves you breathless.
“You’re such a sap,” you murmur, but you don’t pull away.
“Only for you, iubirea mea.”
The road continues on, winding through forests and valleys, past lakes that glitter in the afternoon sun. You make stops whenever something catches your eye—a roadside fruit stand where you buy fresh peaches and cherries, a scenic overlook where the world stretches out beneath you, an expanse of green and gold, mountains rising in the distance.
Pietro leans against the railing, arms crossed, eyes scanning the view. “I could run to the top of that mountain in two seconds.”
You elbow him lightly. “But would you actually take the time to enjoy it?”
He turns to you, considering. “With you? Yes.”
The air is crisp, carrying the scent of pine and wildflowers. The world is so quiet here, the only sounds the distant call of birds, the rustle of leaves in the breeze. It’s a kind of peace you don’t often get, and you let it settle over you, grounding you.
Pietro’s fingers brush against your arm, trailing up until he cups your cheek, tilting your face toward him. His eyes, impossibly blue, study you for a long moment before he leans in, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to your lips. You taste the sweetness of the cherries he stole from the bag in the car, the warmth of the sun still clinging to his skin.
When he pulls away, he rests his forehead against yours. “This is nice,” he murmurs.
You hum in agreement. “Yeah. It really is.”
And for once, neither of you are in a hurry to move.
The late afternoon sun casts long shadows across the road as you and Pietro drive further into the countryside. You’re somewhere between one small town and the next, where the only signs of life are the occasional farmhouse, distant cows grazing in open fields, and the towering trees lining the highway.
Your stomach rumbles, and Pietro’s sharp ears don’t miss it. He smirks, squeezing your hand. “Hungry already? We had those peaches an hour ago.”
You groan, pressing a hand to your stomach. “Peaches aren’t a meal, Piet. We need real food.”
As if on cue, a neon sign flashes in the distance—a little roadside diner sitting just off the main road. It looks like it belongs in a different time, with its red-and-white checkered exterior, a neon sign in the shape of a coffee cup blinking in and out, and a row of motorcycles parked out front. It’s the kind of place that probably serves greasy burgers and thick milkshakes, the kind that sticks to your ribs in the best way.
Pietro slows the car as you grin, pointing excitedly. “Look! Let’s stop here.”
He chuckles, pulling into the small gravel parking lot. “If that’s what my love wants, then who am I to deny her?”
The inside of the diner is exactly what you expect—red vinyl booths, a jukebox playing an old rock song, and the scent of coffee and fried food hanging in the air. A few patrons sit scattered across the space—an elderly couple sipping coffee by the window, a group of bikers chatting in a booth, and a waitress leaning against the counter, flipping through a magazine.
She looks up when you walk in, offering a friendly smile. “Take a seat wherever you’d like, hon. I’ll be right with you.”
You slide into a booth by the window, and Pietro sits across from you, already reaching for one of the menus tucked behind the napkin dispenser. He flips through it at lightning speed before tossing it down. “I want everything.”
You snort. “Try to pace yourself, Speedy.”
The waitress, whose name tag reads Linda, walks over with two glasses of water. She eyes Pietro with amusement. “You look like you could eat a whole cow, sugar.”
He grins. “Would that be an option?”
She laughs, shaking her head as she pulls out a notepad. “What’ll it be?”
You skim the menu, biting your lip. “I’ll take the cheeseburger with fries, please.”
“And a vanilla milkshake,” Pietro adds for you, winking.
You roll your eyes but don’t argue. He knows you too well.
Linda turns to Pietro. “And for you?”
He doesn’t hesitate. “Two bacon cheeseburgers, extra-large fries, and… let’s make it two milkshakes. One chocolate, one strawberry.”
Linda whistles, jotting it all down. “Damn, boy. Where do you put it all?”
Pietro smirks, tapping his stomach. “Fast metabolism.”
She shakes her head, amused, before heading off to place the order.
As you wait for the food, you watch the sun dip lower outside, the sky melting into warm oranges and purples. The glow reflects in Pietro’s eyes as he leans back in the booth, stretching his arms behind his head.
“This is nice,” you murmur, sipping your water.
He raises an eyebrow. “You say that like you expected it not to be.”
You shrug. “It’s just… I don’t know. Sometimes I forget how good it feels to just be normal. No missions, no running, no near-death experiences. Just… burgers in a diner with you.”
Pietro’s expression softens. He reaches across the table, taking your hand in his. “Then we’ll do this more often.”
Your heart swells as you squeeze his fingers.
Linda returns, setting down your plates with a practiced ease. “Here you go, lovebirds. Enjoy.”
You waste no time digging in, and neither does Pietro. The food is exactly what you hoped for—greasy, messy, and delicious. The milkshake is thick and creamy, and you’re pretty sure you’ll be full for days, but it’s worth it.
Pietro finishes his burgers in record time and steals some of your fries when he thinks you’re not looking. You swat at his hand, but he only grins, unrepentant.
When the check comes, Pietro pulls out his wallet, but you snatch it before he can. “I’m paying.”
He pouts. “You never let me pay.”
You smirk. “Then maybe you should be faster.”
His eyes narrow playfully. “That’s a challenge.”
You laugh, handing Linda the cash before he can argue further. She chuckles, shaking her head. “You two are somethin’ else.”
Once you’re back in the car, you stretch your arms with a content sigh. “Alright, switch. I’m driving.”
Pietro frowns. “You sure?”
“Yes.” You shoot him a look. “You’ve been good, but I can see how much you’re struggling not to speed.”
He opens his mouth to protest, but you raise an eyebrow, daring him to argue. He huffs but gets out of the car, moving to the passenger seat. “Fine. But if you get tired—”
“You’ll be the first to know,” you promise, starting the engine.
The road stretches on as the sky darkens, and soon, the neon glow of the diner fades behind you. The world becomes quieter, the hum of the tires against the pavement the only sound besides the occasional song playing on the radio. Pietro fidgets beside you, tapping his fingers against his knee, but he doesn’t complain.
The air outside cools, the scent of rain lingering faintly. The road winds through dense trees now, and the headlights cast long shadows. It’s almost eerie how empty the road is—no cars, no signs of life, just the two of you moving through the dark.
Eventually, a flickering sign appears ahead—a small, rundown motel sitting at the edge of the highway. It’s one of those places that probably hasn’t been updated in decades, the kind you’d see in an old movie. The neon sign buzzes, letters half-burned out so that “VACANCY” is the only word visible.
Pietro gives it a once-over and groans. “This is where we’re staying?”
You park and unbuckle your seatbelt. “It’s all we’ve got until the next town, unless you really want to sleep in the car.”
He sighs dramatically. “Fine. But if I hear even one weird noise, I’m running us to a five-star hotel.”
You grin, taking his hand as you walk to the front desk. The inside is just as outdated as the outside—musty carpet, wood-paneled walls, and a sleepy-looking man behind the desk watching an old TV.
You check in quickly, grabbing the key for your room. The hallway smells like stale air freshener, and the walls are a questionable shade of yellow. Your room isn’t much better—a creaky bed, dim lighting, and a tiny TV that looks like it hasn’t worked in years.
Pietro looks around, unimpressed. “I think I would prefer the car.”
You laugh, tossing your bag onto the bed. “Oh, shut up. It’s fine.”
He flops down on the mattress, testing the springs. “Barely.”
You roll your eyes, kicking off your shoes before joining him. The bed dips under his weight, and he immediately wraps an arm around you, pulling you close. His body is warm, comforting. You rest your head on his chest, listening to the steady thrum of his heartbeat.
After a moment, he murmurs, “This is still nice.”
You smile against his shirt. “Yeah. It really is.”
And despite the flickering light outside, the slightly creepy motel, and the worn-down room, you wouldn’t trade this moment for anything.
The motel room is dimly lit, the single lamp on the nightstand casting a warm glow over the faded wallpaper. The air is cool from the rattling AC unit in the corner, but Pietro’s body is warm beside you, his arm draped lazily across your waist.
You shift slightly, adjusting against the lumpy mattress, and Pietro hums, his lips brushing against your temple. “Comfortable?”
You snort. “Not really. But I’ve slept in worse.”
He chuckles, fingers tracing idle patterns on your hip. “We could always find somewhere else.”
You sigh, pressing a kiss to his jaw. “No, it’s fine. We’re only here for the night.”
His hand slides lower, teasing at the hem of your shirt, fingertips skimming your skin. “Then we should make the most of it, iubirea mea.”
You roll onto your side, facing him, your noses barely an inch apart. His blue eyes darken, lips quirking in that cocky smirk that always makes your stomach flip. “Oh?” you murmur, voice playful.
He doesn’t bother answering with words. Instead, he leans in, kissing you slow and deep, fingers gripping your waist. His other hand tangles in your hair, tilting your head to deepen the kiss. You melt against him, sighing as his lips move down your jaw, to that spot on your neck that always makes you shiver.
Pietro grins against your skin. “I love how responsive you are, dragă.”
“Shut up,” you mutter, threading your fingers into his silver hair and pulling him back to your lips. He groans softly, his body pressing more firmly against yours, and you shift beneath him, feeling heat coil in your stomach.
Then—
Creeeak.
The bed lets out a loud, high-pitched squeak as Pietro moves, the old mattress springs groaning in protest.
You both freeze.
Pietro lifts his head, brows furrowing. “Did that—?”
Before he can finish, he adjusts his weight again—
SCREEEEEEAK.
You slap a hand over your mouth, trying to stifle your laugh. Pietro, however, looks deeply offended, as if the bed has personally betrayed him.
“Oh, come on,” he mutters, shifting again just to test it.
The bed responds with another loud, obnoxious squeal.
You lose it, burying your face in his shoulder as laughter bubbles out of you. Pietro groans, flopping onto his back with a dramatic sigh. “This is the worst motel in existence.”
As if on cue, there’s a loud bang against the wall from the room next door, followed by a gruff voice yelling, “Hey! Whatever you’re doing, cut it out!”
You slap a hand over your mouth again, eyes wide. Pietro stares at you, then at the wall, then back at you. His lips twitch.
“Are we being cockblocked by a motel wall?”
That’s it. You break into uncontrollable laughter, curling into his side as you struggle to breathe. Pietro groans, dragging a hand down his face. “I hate this place.”
Another bang on the wall. “I mean it! Some of us are trying to sleep!”
Pietro glares at the wall, sitting up. “Some of us are trying to live, old man!” he yells back.
You grab his arm, still laughing. “Oh my God, Pietro—”
“What?” He gestures to the bed in frustration. “This is a crime against romance! This bed is cursed!”
You wipe at your eyes, still giggling. “Maybe it’s a sign.”
He groans dramatically, flopping back onto the mattress. “Fine. But I’m holding a grudge against this motel forever.”
You snuggle into his side, still smiling. He wraps an arm around you, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I promise, next time, we find a place with better structural integrity.”
“Deal.”
Despite the rough mattress and the squeaky bed, sleep comes easier than expected. You drift off to the steady rise and fall of Pietro’s breathing, the warmth of his body grounding you.
But sometime in the middle of the night, the weight of everything crashes over you.
You wake up suddenly, your heart pounding, an ache settling in your chest like a stone. The dark motel room feels suffocating, memories creeping in like shadows. The road trip was meant to be an escape—a chance to leave everything behind—but no matter how far you drive, the past clings to you.
Pietro stirs beside you, instantly attuned to your change in breathing. “Dragă?” His voice is thick with sleep, but laced with concern. “What’s wrong?”
You swallow hard, shaking your head. “Nothing. Just… bad dreams.”
He doesn’t buy it. He never does. Instead of pressing, he just tightens his grip around you, holding you closer, pressing a kiss to the side of your head. “I’m here,” he murmurs.
And somehow, that helps.
You focus on the rhythm of his heartbeat, slow and steady. His fingers trace gentle circles on your back, soothing you without words.
Eventually, your breathing evens out, and you let yourself sink into him, letting the weight of his presence push away the heaviness in your chest.
The next morning, you wake to the golden light of sunrise filtering through the curtains. Pietro is already awake, sitting on the edge of the bed, running a hand through his hair. When he notices you stirring, he turns, offering a small smile. “Morning, iubirea mea.”
You sit up, stretching. “Morning. How long have you been up?”
“Not long.” He watches you for a moment before brushing a thumb across your cheek. “How are you feeling?”
You hesitate, then exhale. “Better.”
He nods, satisfied, and stands. “Good. Because I say we get the hell out of this cursed motel and find somewhere with real breakfast.”
You laugh, swinging your legs over the side of the bed. “Sounds like a plan.”
After a quick shower and a mediocre cup of motel coffee, you check out, handing the key back to the front desk. The man barely acknowledges you, too engrossed in his morning news program.
Pietro mutters under his breath as you walk back to the car. “Worst night of my life.”
You elbow him playfully. “Oh, come on. It wasn’t that bad.”
He levels you with a flat look. “We were interrupted by an angry neighbor, the bed sounded like it was screaming, and I didn’t get to ravish my beautiful girlfriend.”
You snicker, sliding into the driver’s seat. “Tragic.”
He sighs, dramatic as ever, before leaning over to kiss your cheek. “Drive, iubirea mea. Take me far away from this place.”
With a smile, you start the engine, the open road stretching ahead of you once more.
The road trip continues with a comfortable rhythm—music playing softly, Pietro’s hand resting on your thigh, and the landscape rolling by in a blur of green and gold. The air smells fresher out here, far from the city, just endless roads and nature stretching for miles.
Pietro keeps himself entertained by messing with the radio, flipping through stations at lightning speed. You swat at his hand when the static becomes unbearable.
“Pietro, pick a station and leave it.”
He smirks, finally settling on an oldies station. “Better?”
You sigh. “I’ll take it.”
A few hours pass with pit stops at random places—a general store where Pietro buys an obscene amount of snacks, a giant roadside statue of a cowboy that he insists on taking a selfie with, and a gas station where he challenges you to a race around the lot (he wins, obviously, but you demand a rematch in a place where he can’t use his speed).
Then, as the afternoon heat begins to settle in, you spot it—a shimmering blue lake peeking through the trees just off the highway.
You gasp, grabbing Pietro’s arm. “A lake!”
He raises an eyebrow. “And?”
“And we have swimsuits.”
Pietro’s grin is instant. “Say no more.”
The lake is as perfect as it looked from the road—clear water, sunlit ripples, and a peaceful quiet only interrupted by the sound of birds and rustling leaves. It’s practically begging for you to dive in.
Pietro, being himself, is changed in seconds, already bare-chested in his swim trunks before you even finish fishing your swimsuit out of your bag.
You blink, momentarily distracted.
You’ve always known your boyfriend is obscenely attractive, but something about seeing him out in nature, all golden skin and sculpted muscles, makes your brain short-circuit. His silver hair is messily tousled from the wind, his sharp jawline catching the sunlight just right.
He catches you staring and smirks. “Like what you see, dragă?”
You roll your eyes, pretending to be unimpressed. “Meh.”
He gasps in exaggerated offense. “Meh?”
Before you can react, he uses his speed to scoop you up and spin you around. You yelp, laughing as he carries you toward the water.
“Pietro! Put me down!”
“Oh, I will.”
He wades into the lake and, without warning, drops you into the cool water.
You resurface, sputtering, and glare at him. “You absolute menace!”
He’s grinning like a devil, standing waist-deep in the water. “I’m sorry, iubirea mea. You were taking too long.”
Narrowing your eyes, you lunge at him, attempting revenge. Pietro, of course, dodges effortlessly, but he’s laughing, arms out as if daring you to try again.
Eventually, after some playful splashing and a failed attempt to dunk him, you both just float in the water, the sun warming your skin as you relax.
Pietro swims closer, tilting his head as his eyes roam over you. “You know, I was about to make fun of you for staring at me earlier…”
You raise an eyebrow. “But?”
He smirks, gaze lingering on your body. “Now I’m the one staring.”
A flush spreads across your skin, but you try to play it cool. “You’re so obvious.”
His hands find your waist under the water, pulling you closer. “Only for you.”
You rest your arms on his shoulders, fingers threading into his wet hair. He kisses you—slow and deep, tasting like lake water and sunlight.
The moment stretches, warm and perfect, until—
HONK!
Both of you jump as a car horn blares from the road nearby. You whip your head around, spotting an RV parked on the shoulder. A group of older women leans out of the windows, cheering.
“LOOK AT THE LOVE BIRDS!” one of them hollers.
“Oh my God,” you whisper, covering your face.
Pietro, on the other hand, grins and waves. “Hello, beautiful ladies!”
More honking. More cheering. One woman even whistles.
You groan, sinking lower into the water. “Can we go before they start giving relationship advice?”
Pietro snickers but obliges, grabbing your hand as you wade back to shore.
Once you’re dried off and back in the car, the post-swim drowsiness settles in. The sun is beginning to dip, the air cooler now, the road stretching ahead in golden light.
You and Pietro decide to rest for a while, pulling over at a scenic overlook with a breathtaking view of the forest below.
The backseat of the car is surprisingly comfortable, seats pushed back just enough to lounge in. You curl up against Pietro, both of you still warm from the sun and water.
His fingers trace gentle circles on your thigh, a lazy rhythm. “This is nice.”
You hum in agreement, eyes half-closed. “Yeah. It really is.”
There’s a pause. Then—
“You know,” Pietro murmurs, voice lower now, “we still haven’t made up for last night.”
You blink, turning your head to look at him. His blue eyes are heavy-lidded, his smirk wicked.
Heat blooms in your stomach instantly. “Oh?”
His fingers slide up your thigh, slow and teasing. “Mmm.” He leans in, brushing his lips against your jaw. “And I don’t hear any squeaky motel beds or angry neighbors.”
Your heart pounds. The way he’s looking at you—like he’s about to devour you—sends a thrill down your spine.
You swallow. “We’re in a car.”
His smirk grows. “Exactly.”
There’s something so Pietro about this—his impatience, his need to make up for lost time. And honestly? You’re not about to stop him.
The car windows fog up as his hands explore your body, pulling you into his lap, his lips moving against yours with desperate hunger.
The rest of the world fades away—the lake, the road, everything outside this little bubble of heat and need.
And this time?
No one interrupts.
The sun has fully set by the time you and Pietro find yourselves back on the road, your bodies still thrumming from what just happened in the backseat. The car smells faintly of sweat and lake water, the windows still slightly fogged despite your best efforts to clear them.
Pietro has the smuggest grin on his face, one arm draped casually over the steering wheel as he glances at you. “Feeling good, iubirea mea?”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t stop the satisfied smile on your lips. “You’re impossible.”
He chuckles, tapping his fingers against the dashboard. “And yet, you love me.”
You shake your head, pretending to be exasperated, but the truth is, you do love him. Everything about him. Even when he’s being an insufferable tease.
Your stomach grumbles suddenly, ruining the moment. Pietro raises an eyebrow, amused. “Looks like someone worked up an appetite.”
You huff, crossing your arms. “Well, maybe if someone hadn’t distracted me—”
“Oh, please, you were just as eager as I was.”
You open your mouth to retort, but before you can, you spot a neon-lit diner glowing in the distance. It’s the kind of place that looks like it hasn’t changed since the ‘50s—chrome details, red vinyl booths, a flickering OPEN sign.
You point to it. “There. Food.”
Pietro hums, pulling into the lot. “Fine, but only because I don’t want you fainting on me before round two.”
Your cheeks heat up, but you ignore him as you hop out of the car, stretching your legs. The air is cool now, a welcome contrast to the earlier heat.
Inside, the diner is exactly what you expected—old-fashioned, cozy, and smelling like fresh coffee and greasy food. A waitress with a beehive hairdo greets you with a tired but kind smile, gesturing toward an empty booth by the window.
Pietro slides in across from you, instantly stealing a menu from your side. “Let’s see… What’s the biggest thing on this menu?”
You raise an eyebrow. “Why do I feel like you’re about to make this an eating contest?”
He grins. “Because you know me so well.”
The waitress returns, and Pietro doesn’t hesitate before ordering a double cheeseburger, a plate of chili fries, and a milkshake. You opt for a regular burger and fries, shaking your head at his ridiculous metabolism.
As you wait for the food, Pietro’s fingers find yours across the table, absentmindedly tracing patterns over your skin. It’s a small thing, but it makes your chest feel warm.
“You know,” he says, tilting his head, “we could just sleep in the car tonight. Avoid any more cursed motel beds.”
You smirk. “And miss out on an actual bed after what we just did? No way.”
Pietro groans. “But what if we end up next to another angry old man?”
“Well,” you tease, “we just have to be quieter this time.”
He leans forward, voice dropping to a low murmur. “I don’t do quiet, dragă.”
Heat coils in your stomach at the promise in his tone, but before you can respond, the waitress arrives with your food. You both dig in, conversation flowing easily between bites—stories from past travels, dumb jokes, Pietro complaining about how slow the food service is even though it’s only been five minutes.
By the time you finish, you’re pleasantly full, stretching your arms as Pietro leaves a generous tip and grabs your hand, pulling you toward the exit.
“Alright,” he sighs as you step back outside, “let’s go find this hopefully-not-terrible motel.”
The motel you end up at is marginally better than the last one.
It’s still a little rundown, but the bed looks sturdy, the sheets actually smell clean, and—most importantly—there are no suspicious stains or noises coming from the next room.
Pietro eyes it warily as you set your bags down. “Well… I guess this will do.”
You snort, kicking off your shoes. “You’re such a diva.”
“I have standards, iubirea mea.”
Rolling your eyes, you flop onto the bed, testing it. It creaks slightly, but nothing like the nightmare from last night. “See? This one isn’t that bad.”
Pietro stretches, his shirt riding up just enough to tease a glimpse of his toned stomach. “I suppose I can make it work…”
You catch his smirk just before he pounces, landing beside you with that mischievous glint in his eyes. “You know,” he murmurs, “we did say we’d make up for last night.”
Your pulse quickens. “That we did.”
His fingers skim along your arm, feather-light, before trailing lower, tracing the hem of your shirt. “And you were right,” he adds, voice husky, “an actual bed does sound nice after all.”
Before you can respond, he flips you onto your back, hovering over you with a wicked grin. His lips find your throat, pressing slow, open-mouthed kisses against your skin.
You sigh, tilting your head to give him more access. “Pietro…”
He hums against your collarbone. “Mmm?”
“You really don’t do quiet, do you?”
He lifts his head, grinning. “Not a chance.”
Then he kisses you—deep, hungry, possessive. His hands slide under your shirt, fingers splaying against your bare skin as he moves lower, his breath warm against your neck.
The rest of the world ceases to exist.
No motel beds creaking too loudly. No angry neighbors.
Just him. Just you. Just the way your bodies move together, tangled in sheets that, for once, don’t feel cursed.
This time, the only sounds filling the room are soft gasps, whispered praises, and Pietro’s name falling from your lips like a prayer.
The rest of the road trip is like something out of a dream.
After the very satisfying night at the motel, you and Pietro wake up in a tangle of limbs, warm and content. He’s already wide awake, of course—his body clock runs as fast as the rest of him—but he doesn’t move right away. Instead, he just watches you, fingertips tracing lazy circles over your hip as the morning light filters through the cheap curtains.
“Morning, iubirea mea,” he murmurs, pressing a kiss to your shoulder.
You sigh happily, stretching. “Morning.”
He smirks, voice still thick with sleep. “So, was that a decent night of passion, or do we need to find another motel just to be sure?”
You laugh, nudging his chest. “I think we confirmed it multiple times.”
He grins, rolling onto his back with a satisfied groan. “Good. Because I’m feeling very accomplished.”
The next few days are a perfect blur of long drives, roadside attractions, and stolen kisses whenever Pietro thinks you’re not paying attention (or when he just wants your attention, which is always).
You stop at a sunflower field along the way, running through the golden stalks as Pietro speeds ahead, picking the biggest, brightest flower and tucking it behind your ear. He pulls you in for a slow kiss, murmuring against your lips, “You’re still prettier.”
You roll your eyes. “Smooth.”
“Always.”
Another day, you come across an abandoned train yard, the rusted tracks twisting through overgrown grass. Pietro challenges you to a balance contest, walking along the rails with perfect ease while you wobble like a newborn deer. He catches you when you stumble, laughing as he scoops you up.
“You’re terrible at this,” he teases.
“I don’t have super speed to cheat with!”
He grins. “Then you better hold on tight.”
Before you can protest, he takes off with you in his arms, zipping through the train cars, the wind whipping past as you laugh breathlessly.
There’s a late-night stop at an all-night diner, where Pietro orders an obscene amount of pancakes just to “see how many he can eat before he gets bored.” (The answer is fifteen, but he insists he could’ve gone for twenty if you hadn’t distracted him with a milkshake to the nose.)
There’s a tiny bookstore in a small town where you browse the shelves while Pietro sits in an armchair, flipping through a random book at super speed before dramatically declaring, “I’ve read them all. Let’s go.”
You groan. “You are the worst person to bring to a bookstore.”
And then there’s the night you find a secluded little hilltop overlooking a valley, the stars sprawled endlessly above you. Pietro spreads out a blanket, pulling you into his lap as you both sip cheap gas station wine and make up ridiculous constellations.
“That one looks like a very handsome man who is incredibly fast,” Pietro says smugly, pointing at a random cluster of stars.
You squint. “It looks like a potato.”
He gasps in mock offense. “You wound me.”
You grin, leaning against him. “It’s a very sexy potato, though.”
He hums, arms tightening around you. “I’ll accept it.”
And for a while, everything is perfect. Just you, Pietro, and the open road, with no responsibilities pulling you back.
Until your phone rings.
It happens on the fifth day, just as you’re fueling up at a gas station in the middle of nowhere.
You’re standing by the car, stretching your arms after a long drive, while Pietro is inside, raiding the snack aisle for the fifth time that day. The sun is warm on your skin, the air still and quiet.
Then—your phone buzzes in your pocket.
You pull it out, frowning when you see the caller ID.
TONY STARK.
Your stomach drops.
You hesitate for half a second before answering. “Hey, Tony.”
“Hey, kid,” comes the familiar voice on the other end. “Hope you’re enjoying your little romantic getaway, but I need you and Speedy back at HQ. Now.”
You blink. “Wait, what?”
“It’s a mission. Big one. And we need both of you. So wrap up your little road trip, make out one last time, and get moving.”
You groan, rubbing your forehead. “Tony, we’re literally in the middle of nowhere—”
“Then run. You’ve got a human rocket for a boyfriend.”
Before you can argue, he hangs up.
You stare at your phone for a moment, processing.
Then, with a sigh, you turn toward the gas station just as Pietro comes bounding out, arms full of snacks.
“I got us more gummy bears, and I found those weird chips you like—” He pauses when he sees your expression, his smile fading. “What’s wrong?”
You exhale. “We have to go back.”
Pietro frowns. “What? Why?”
“Tony just called. There’s a mission. He needs us both.”
Pietro groans, dramatically dropping his snacks onto the hood of the car. “You have got to be kidding me.”
“I wish I was.”
He drags a hand down his face. “Of course Stark ruins our fun.”
You step closer, placing a hand on his chest. “I know. I don’t want to leave either. But… we have to.”
Pietro sighs, running his fingers through his silver hair. He looks at you, blue eyes flickering with frustration before softening.
“Fine,” he mutters. “But next time? We take a vacation where no one can call us.”
You smile. “Deal.”
He huffs, then gestures for you to climb onto his back. “Alright, dragă. Hold on tight.”
You do, wrapping your arms around his shoulders as he secures you in his grip.
Then, in a blink, the world blurs around you.
The road trip is over.
And the real world comes rushing back.

poly relationship between scott, stiles, and reader headcanons
a/n: holy cow uhm 35 likes on my first post ?? take this hastily made post as a thank you. if you want me to make a part 2 lmk 🫶🏻
a/n: also this is meant to be an afab reader but i tried not to use any gendered pronouns
you met them in middle school. you had just moved to beacon hills and since you had no one to sit with at lunch, stiles convinced scott to introduce themselves.
and somehow, it worked. you clicked with them instantly, seamlessly integrating into their lives like a puzzle piece they’d never known was missing.
the saying “two’s a party, three’s a crowd” has NEVER been applicable to the three of you. wherever you went, they followed. wherever they went, you followed.
intimacy had never been an issue for the three of you. sure, puberty was a little different for you and the boys but for some reason it was never awkward to talk about. maybe because stiles never had a filter when it came to anything.
you got your first period ? you whined about how badly it hurt and suprisingly, scott was the one who comforted you most. his mom’s a nurse, she taught him ( i know she did. mama mccall teaches her son to respect women and about anatomy. he had the talk very early. )
stiles had to learn a bit. but his adhd caused him to go down a health rabbit hole and now he’s always worried when you complain about cramps. “are you okay? did an ovary burst?” he’s stupid and he knows better but he means well and his mouth says things before he can think.
of course, stiles and scott did have their own conversations about their side of things. mostly about how you were the subject of a lot of their fantasies. but they’d never tell you that. they’re not weirdos.
as you grew up, you were always able to talk about crushes with one another. stiles had been in love with lydia martin forever and whichever girl caught scott’s eye for a time. you had the occasional fancy but it always passed. for some reason you always got bored. i wonder why.
sleepovers were always fun. star wars marathons and dumb sci fi movies and you forcing asking them to watch cute romance movies with you. and you’d always cuddle up between both of them, not wanting to have to choose between your two favorite boys. they didn’t mind.
at the start of high school, you realized just how handsome they had become. stiles with his adorable buzz cut that made scratching his head so easy during cuddles. and the soft tendrils of hair that would curl behind scott’s ears. you wished you could brush them back. but that was normal, right?
you were always their biggest supporter so when they said they wanted to try out for lacrosse, you were there. you even made a poster ( obviously both their names were on it. it was easier to hold one sign. )
the team made derogatory comments about how you must be a slut and you had to be giving it up. why else would you have two best friends who were both guys?
and that hurt you. but the implications of the statement burrowed somewhere in your mind and didn’t go away. i mean, you had always been together platonically. would it really be so different if you were romantically?
and you tried to ignore it. you did. it was illogical to feel that way for two people. to want two people in a way that made your heart hurt and your stomach ache. wasn’t it?
so you told yourself it didn’t matter because stiles still liked lydia ( or so you thought ). it would never happen anyway. and you’d been friends with scott for years. he probably only saw you the same way he did stiles.
you were wrong. you were so wrong.
after scott was bitten, things shifted between the two of you. he seemed more confident, more sure of himself, and he seemed to be around you even more than usual if that was even possible. you liked it. you liked it a lot.
the morning before the first lacrosse game, you and scott were talking before school. stiles was nowhere to be seen ( likely having broken down with roscoe again ).
that was the topic of conversation, actually. you two were placing bets on what had delayed your best friend’s arrival.
“i guarantee you he’s duct taping roscoe on the side of the road again.”
“that or his adhd ass forgot to set his alarm clock again.”
and you were both laughing. you were laughing so hard and you didn’t notice the way scott’s face had changed. like you were the one who made the sun rise in the morning and put the stars in the sky.
“can i kiss you?”
the question caught you off guard. it wasn’t something you expected him to ever say. you were silent for several minutes. it was the longest stretch of time scott had ever felt. and then you nodded.
he was so sweet. hesitant, at first. it was simple and short, but his lips were soft and you could feel him smile when you kissed back.
unfortunately, you two never had a chance to talk about it or what it meant as the familiar blue jeep pulled into the parking lot a few seconds later. you didn’t know if stiles had seen what happened between you and scott. honestly, you didn’t want to know. because even though you felt something for scott, you felt something for stiles too. and you didn’t know what that meant yet.
and with all the drama going on between trying to figure out who bit scott and surveiling derek and getting through classes, it wasn’t easy to find the time to talk things out.
and maybe it’s better that you didn’t. because then you kissed stiles.
you hadn’t meant to. honestly, you really, really hadn’t meant to. but scott was out with derek so stiles had decided to keep you company and do homework together.
except you both got very bored very quickly so you turned on a rerun of some old movie you’d seen a thousand times before. and stiles kept pointing out the inaccuracies which sparked a heated debate between the two of you.
you were rambling, trying to prove your point that it didn’t ruin the movie. and you noticed that his brown eyes were locked on yours and he seemed to be holding his breath. and he looked so pretty that you stopped mid-sentence and all coherent thought went out the window.
you kissed him first and it shocked the hell out of him. you took that as a bad sign and immediately pulled back, embarrassment causing a burn in your cheeks and a stammer as you tried to apologize.
“stiles i am so- i’m so sorry. i didn’t- i mean- i know you like lydia- shit i’m so sorry.”
he kissed you the second time. and all of your worries went out the window. you were still kissing when scott walked through your door.
for the second time that night, you wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
“i was wondering when that would happen.”
your mouth DROPPED as you gaped at scott’s words.
when you got your composure back, you three had a very lengthy conversation about what this meant for the three of you.
you knew you liked them both and you didn’t want to choose. thankfully, they didn’t make you. you’d always been their favorite and they’d give you anything you wanted.
now you have the two best boyfriends in the world.
