Working on theories about Hyrule’s geography based solely upon my vague notion of direction. Featuring the crummiest maps known to Hyruleankind
#legend of zelda#this all kinda came to me while half asleep so I’m trying to work it out#but everything rotates around the ranch ruins#or Lon Lon#which is functionally identical in OoT/BotW#the basic theory is that everything is vaguely the same direction it once was in OoT#but the differing distances are either Link’s perception or due to tectonic shifts#also Rito Village is in a dormant volcano which is in the same range as Death Mountain#and said dormant volcano is actually the remains of Dragon Roost Island#I’m working on the wind waker one next#it’s harder since the map constant in WW is the castle but it sort of works still#trying to line up Lurelin with outset
