There's no way to say 'This song was made for mashups" without sounding like an asshole but I honestly have no better way to describe the phenomenon of the vocals ruling and the instrumental fucking so damn hard and then the combination sounding depressingly mediocre for no reason

#im sorry y'all but this is how you all get to learn my opinion of 'psychosocial' by slipknot #I love the vocals #I am desperately in love wit the instrumental (esp the drums ngl they mesh so well w/my pacing stims)#but the combination then sounds weirdly eh for how good all the components are separately #and then you listen to any fucking mashup and it rules so hard #best ones are psychosocial sexy back || toxic psychosocial || psychosocial romance || and honorable ment. to psychosalad #anyways yeah have fun knowing this about me #im really hoping this doesn't actually show up in the official slipknot tag cause its meant to be my rambling #not public opinion #im only sharing in the tags bc I'm pretty sure none of you listen to slipknot and will therefore not be annoyed by my stupid opinions
