last night I watched like 60% of that kurtis conner video on a hallmark Christmas movie based off of taylor swift/travis kelce and not only did he do a fantastic job (as always) I think it shows the gross oversimplification and hence unhealthy romanticisation of their relationship. travis isn't just your average 'aw shucks' star athlete - he regularly socialises with problematic friends and family who he shows no interest in cutting off. taylor isn't just a sweet innocent popstar princess down on her luck (like any other person she's a complex human being and it is offensive how they reduced her fictional counterpart to that) - she's done some pretty questionable things like entertaining/socialising with travis' problematic circle, her handling of the ana benevides death etc.

but this movie shows how the public perceives/is meant to perceive their relationship, in a way that leaves out these ^^ important details

(also that plotline about 'bowen sykes' (aka taylor swift) having low sales for a Christmas album which she says she wrote 'for the fans, not the public' - lmao???? this makes it so blatantly obvious how you have to twist certain aspects of reality just to manufacture a feel good rom com!) (also SO ANNOYING to have a one dimensional damsel in distress plotline!!!! how boring and uncreative!!!!!!!!!! BOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

alterlife: rina is rly talented isnt she. this is a headbanger for sure, the drums are really nice & she sounds so good !! the production on the vocals & guitar was a bit strange but i loved the lyrics so that made up for it i think. LOVE the key change too
