COLOURWAY SERIES MASTERLIST
A loud scream pierces my ear and I jump up from my position near Bellamy who was still fast asleep. I quickly shake him awake. He opens his eyes slowly and yawns.
“Someone’s screaming it sounds like Octavia,” I tell him. These words cause his eyes to widen and he quickly storms out of his tent. I follow Bellamy and I see Jasper near the woods.
“Jasper what’s going on?” Bellamy yells running up to him.
“Octavia!” Jasper yells following her screams in the woods. Bellamy and I rush after him as well. Our jaws drop when we see a few fingers on the ground and Wells laying absolutely motionless on the ground. Next to him we see a makeshift knife made with metal from the drop ship. Bellamy grabs the items and Octavia, Jasper, and I follow him. Clarke meets us up in Bellamy’s tent as well.
“Since this is made out of drop ship metal, the grounders didn't kill Wells,” Clarke states. “It was one of us.”
Bellamy looks nervous. “We need to keep this quiet,” he says. Clarke rolls her eyes at these words and attempts to storm out of the tent. Bellamy stops her.
“If everyone thinks that the grounders killed Wells it’ll be good for the camp,” Bellamy says sternly. “Think of everything we’ve accomplished.”
“It’ll be good for you you mean,” Clarke says before pushing past him.
“You don't even know who’s knife that is,” Bellamy responds.
“Yeah I do,” Clarke shows him the initials on the knife. “JM, John Murphy.” She rushes out of the tent. All hell was about to break loose.
“What do we do Bellamy?” I ask. He doesn't respond and rushes after Clarke. We all follow them outside of the tent
“How could you kill Wells?” Clarke screams pushing Murphy.
“Woah what are you talking about,” Murphy says. At this point, the commotion has led to many of the delinquents to show up to the scene. “It wasn't me. The grounders killed Wells.”
“Your knife,” Clarke states. “I found it near Wells’ cut fingers.”
“Let’s float him!” a voice says from the crowd. This results in the crowd erupting in excitement. “Float him. Float him.” Before I could process what was going on people began kicking Murphy to the ground and gagging him. They carry him to a tree and begin to tie him up. “Hey Bellamy you should do the honors,” A guy states referring to kicking the box from underneath Murphy. Bellamy hesitates. “Bellamy. Bellamy. Bellamy,” The crowd chants.
“Bellamy no,” I say attempting to grab his arm. He pulls away from me and proceeds to kick the box out from underneath Murphy. The crowd erupts in cheers.
“Bellamy how could you!” Clarke yells at him in tears.
“This is on you Princess,” Bellamy yells. “If you would've kept your mouth shut.”
“Stop it! I did it. I killed Wells,” Charlotte pleads. These words cause Clarke to quickly cut the rope that was hanging Murphy. My mouth hangs open in shock as I look towards Bellamy. Bellamy and I rush over to Charlotte pulling her into Bellamy’s tent.
“Charlotte what were you thinking?” I ask her attempting to be gentle.
“I was slaying my demons like Bellamy told me too,” she responds with tears in her eyes. Bellamy crouches down to Charlotte’s level.
“No Charlotte,” He explains. “That’s not what I meant.”
“Come on Bellamy bring the girl out!” I hear Murphy say outside the tent.
“Bellamy, Y/N, please don’t let them hurt me,” Charlotte pleads.
“We won’t,” Bellamy and I say at the same time. We look at each other smiling sadly. “I have a plan,” Bellamy says.
“Be careful,” I whisper to Bellamy. He nods.
As Bellamy stepped outside, Charlotte and I follow Clarke and Finn out the back. We run as fast as we can out into the woods.
“Just because we helped save you doesn't mean you're forgiven. Got it?” Clarke says to Charlotte. I push Clarke back.
“Clarke,” I say angrily through my teeth. “Back off.”
“How can you just forgive her like that?” Clarke asks. “She’s a killer.” She looks at Charlotte. “You killed someone, Charlotte. Did you even stop to think about it.” Clarke states angrily. “You can’t just kill someone to make yourself feel better.” At this point, Charlotte is full on crying.
“Clarke she’s just a—” Finn starts, but before he can finish my fist collides with Clarke’s face. Clarke falls hard on the ground.
“What the hell Y/N!” She screams touching her face. She was bleeding. Clarke lunges towards me and tackles me on the ground. I roll her over quickly pinning my knife against her neck.
“Stop it you two!” Finn yells tearing the two of you apart.
“Tell Princess here to leave Charlotte alone. No one forced her to come,” I state. Clarke rolls her eyes at me.
“Charlotte!” I hear Murphy’s voice echo throughout the forest. “Finn, Clarke, and Y/N can’t save you.”
“We should run,” I say nervously. Clarke nods in agreement.
“That’s a good idea, but I have a better plan,” Finn says opening a type of bunker door. We all hop in following his lead. Once we get inside I put Charlotte to bed, while Clarke and Finn chat on the other side of the room. Finn tends to her wounds. Seeing the two of them made me think of Bellamy. Oh god, I hope he was alright. Who knows what Murphy is capable of and I couldn't imagine the amount of guilt Bellamy feels. I move a few pieces of stray hair away from Charlotte’s face. This poor poor girl. I feel my eyes shut as I grew more and more tired.
“Finn, Y/N wake up,” Clarke’s voice fills the room.  “She’s gone.” My eyes widen at the empty bed that was in front of me. Before the two of them could stop me, I ran out of the bunker into the woods. I promised Bellamy I’d keep her safe. I hear a faint scream and follow the noise. I can make out what looks to be Charlotte in a clearing. The other figure I wasn’t so sure of. I reach into my pocket for my knife and approach carefully. The tall figure tackles me onto the ground and I hold my knife to their chest.
“Jeez Y/N,” Bellamy whispers rolling off of me. “You scared the crap out of me.”
“Sorry,” I laugh sheepishly. “I was scared.”
We both turn to see that Charlotte has disappeared. Bellamy runs after her quickly grabbing her arm.
“Stop trying to help me,” Charlotte cries. “I’m not your sister.”
Charlotte continues to run away from Bellamy. I try to stop her this time.
“Charlotte no,” I say. “Bellamy and I want to help.”
“Stop trying to help, they want me let me go,” Charlotte says.
“We’re not leaving you Charlotte,” I reply firmly. Charlotte continues to run and Bellamy and I follow.
“Murphy I’m here!” she yells out loudly. We run eventually reaching the edge of a cliff.  Murphy and the others show up shortly after.
“Shit,” I say quietly to myself.
“Bellamy! Give her up!” Murphy yells pushing Clarke out of the way. Charlotte attempts to step towards Murphy, but Bellamy and I hold her back.
“Stop it. I can’t let any more of you get hurt for what I did,” Charlotte says sadly. She takes a few steps back before falling to her death.
“Charlotte NOO,” Bellamy yells. His cries echo throughout the area. Tears fall from my eyes. Bellamy angrily marches towards Murphy tackling him onto the ground. Bellamy begins throwing punch after punch after punch. I wanted to say something, but words couldn’t leave my mouth.
“Bellamy stop it you’ll kill him!” Clarke yells pulling Bellamy away.
“He deserves to die,” Bellamy responds.
“We don’t decide that not down here,” Clarke says. “We need rules.”
“Who’s gonna make the rules?” Bellamy asks. “You?”
“For now,” Clarke responds. “Us.”
“What do we do with him?” Bellamy asks.
“We banish him,” she replies. Bellamy nods at Clarke’s idea. He roughly picks up Murphy, “If I ever catch you near camp again we’ll be hear again.” Murphy nods. “As for you four you can follow me or stay with him to die,” Bellamy says to Murphy’s followers. Bellamy and Clarke whisper to each other, leaving Finn and I trailing behind.
“Sorry about Charlotte,” Finn says his eyes not leaving Clarke. I sigh.
“Don’t be,” I respond.
“They’re like natural leaders,” Finn states looking sadly at Clarke and Bellamy. I nod. They were natural leaders. When we get back to the landing site, Clarke and Finn goes off to do who knows what leaving me alone with Bellamy.
“How are you holding up?” I ask him.
“What do you think Y/N?” Bellamy retorts walking towards his tent.
“Don’t shut me out again Bellamy,” I say.
“I really want to be alone tonight Y/N,” Bellamy responds closing his tent door. At this point, I feel tears fall down my face. I attempt to rush to my tent without anyone seeing me, but Calum stops me in my path.
“Hey Y/N, you okay?” Calum asks worriedly. I don’t say anything except embrace him in a hug. He gladly returns it. I tell him all of the events from today in vivid detail. We end up walking to a small clearing in the woods and lay down next to each other. “I can’t believe all of that happened,” Calum says. I nod silently. “How’s Blake?” Calum asks. Hearing even his last name put a frown on my face. Suddenly a bright light in the sky catches my eye.
“Calum what’s that?” I say sitting up quickly.
“Is that what I think it is?” Calum asks. I look at him nervously.
“They’ve sent help,” I respond. I rush back to the landing site to see everyone looking up at the sky too. I see Bellamy, but frown when I realize he was shirtless with a random girl clinging to his arm. He makes eye contact with me, but quickly looks away back up at the sky. So much for him being alone tonight. Bellamy, Octavia, and a couple of his guys rush over to his tent most likely to discuss what to do. After a few minutes, they all exit his tent and Bellamy rushes out afterwards. Bellamy begins to storm towards me. “I need your help,” He walks towards the woods. I follow him quickly mouthing a ‘sorry’ to Calum.
“Bellamy,” I say. “Slow down.”
He stops in his path, “Y/N. Do you know what this means? When the Ark finds out we’re alive they’ll come down and when they do I’m dead.”
“Bellamy you shot one guard that’s it,” I say referring to when he saved my life. He paces back and forth.
“No Y/N. I shot him,” Bellamy says slowly. “I shot Jaha.”
“Bell…” I say his nickname slipping out of my mouth.
“Someone gave me a deal, if I shot Jaha I would get a spot on the drop ship,” Bellamy says. “I couldn't leave Octavia alone.”
“Look Bellamy whatever they sent down we’ll take care of it,” I say rubbing his arm in attempts to comfort him. I try to push the image of him and the girl stepping out of his tent from my mind. He needed my help.
“You’re the best Y/N,” Bellamy says. I smile at him.
“Come on let’s go find that pod,” I say walking deeper into the woods. We were wandering for what felt like hours and the awkward silence that filled the air didn't help.
“So who was that girl you were with earlier?” I ask trying not to sound jealous. “She seems nice.” Bellamy just laughs at my comment.
“Are you jealous Y/N?” Bellamy asks.
“Why on earth would I be jealous?” I ask. “Wait Bellamy look!” I point at the pod in the middle of the woods. It looked extremely beat up with smoke coming out the top.
“I think I love you!” Bellamy exclaims before rushing towards the pod. I blushed at his words, even though I knew they were just because he was excited. I follow him and we see a person sitting motionless in the pod. Bellamy locates the radio and cuts it out from the pod. We rush away before being seen. Bellamy throws the radio into the river.
“Now you have nothing to worry about Bellamy,” I say. He looks me in the eyes.
“For now,” Bellamy says beginning to head towards camp. “I’ve learned that there’s always something new to be worried about every day.” I laugh at his words. He’s got that right. “She was no one.” He states referring to the girl from earlier.
“It’s okay Bellamy,” I say feeling awkward. “You don't have to explain.”
“Bellamy!!” I hear a voice yell from across the woods. I frown when I see that it’s Clarke, Finn, and someone I didn’t recognize. “Bellamy, Y/N where’s the radio?” Clarke yells.
“What are you talking about?” Bellamy asks.
“There was a radio on my pod,” The girl with brown hair says. “I was supposed to contact the Ark when I landed.”
“I don’t know what you guys are getting at,” I play dumb.
“Y/N, Bellamy,” Clarke says. “They’re killing 300 people on the Ark to preserve oxygen.”
Bellamy and I exchange a glance. “I know where it is,” Bellamy says defeatedly. We lead the group to the river we were just at. At this point, we’ve learned that the girl on the drop ship was named Raven. We retrieve the radio in the water.
“It’s too damaged,” Raven says.
“Look what you’ve done,” Clarke says looking at me.
“Hey wait,” Raven says. “We just need to let the Ark know we’re here. We don’t necessarily have to contact them. I have an idea.”
We all walk back to the landing site and many people greet Raven joyously.
“So if we send rockets into the air, the Ark could see we are still here,” Raven says explaining her plan to Bellamy, Clarke, Finn, and I.
“That would work,” I respond. She smiles at me.
“Great, here’s the list of things I still need,” Raven says handing me a piece of paper with a few things scrawled on it. “I have lots of supplies already in my pod.”
“I’m on it,” I say.
“Finn you can help me out,” Raven smiles.
“What can Clarke and I do?” Bellamy asks.
“Stand there and look pretty,” Raven says before stepping outside of the tent. I follow Raven outside and begin collecting the various things on her list. After what seemed like hours, I finally found all the items. I walk over to Raven and hand her the items which consisted of various pieces of scrap metal.
“Thanks a bunch…uh….” Raven starts to say forgetting my name.
“Y/N,” I say.
“Right Y/N,” Raven continues to work on the rockets and I decide to try and find Bellamy. I stop in my tracks when I see him and Clarke talking about something near his tent. It seemed serious, like it always was between those two, so I walked in the other direction.
“Hey Y/N!” I hear Bellamy’s voice yell. I turn around and smile at him. “How was finding Raven’s items?” he asks. I raise an eyebrow at him.
“What do you want from me Bellamy?” I ask playfully.
“Can’t I just ask how you’re doing?” He asks following me into the makeshift infirmary room. I begin to collect bloodied towels near patients throwing them into a bucket.
“Not when you’re Bellamy Blake,” I say teasingly. “You always want my help with something.”
“I’m offended you would say that Y/N,” Bellamy says. “I actually don’t need your help with anything today. I was just seeing how you were. Clarke’s helping me actually.” Clarke. I frown at her name and continue to pick up dirty towels. “You should give her a chance Y/N. She’s your leader.”
“I won’t forgive her for what she said to Charlotte,” I mutter. Bellamy sighs.
“I know it was messed up, but she had good intentions,” Bellamy says.
“Why are you defending Clarke all of a sudden?” I ask.
“Why are you acting so difficult all of a sudden?” He asks me.
“You’re the one who’s always been difficult Bellamy,” I say. “Now that you’re on the receiving end it doesn't feel so good does it.” I storm out of the infirmary and throw the bucket near the water faucet. I start aggressively scrubbing the towels clean. Screw Bellamy.
Later That Night
Raven finally finished the rockets and she was sending them off into the sky. Everyone gathered around to watch the rockets. Finn had his arm around Raven and Clarke was standing near Bellamy. I look between the four of them everyone looks so happy. Bellamy whispers something to Clarke and she smiles widely. The rockets fly through the air like shooting stars. If only I could make a wish on one. I wish I never hopped on that drop ship.
