reading the invader zim comics you can tell they absolutely love the fact that they're allowed to have blood now
#invader zim#IZ wanted to have blood in it so bad but the show was never allowed to#(i've always felt like IZ fans overblow how ''dark'' the show really is. but that is partially due to network censorship#-you can find a lot of the writers & vasquez talk about how much the scripts were messed with and changed to be more lighthearted#-and you can really feel at times watching the show that IZ wanted to be more edgy than it ended up being#i think its core problem is that it really didn't belong on nickelodeon at all... but i digress)#i'm on volume 4 and i found the first few volumes kind of... obnoxious with the (as much as i hate to say it.
