Cont. from here. @desertforged
There's a soft laugh even Link hadn't expected from himself as his groom implies such an idea of his personality. When one is so off mark from the truth, how could he not laugh?
Still, he shakes his head, the thin silk ribbon of hyrulean blue that held golden tresses in a high tail swaying with the movement before laying 'gainst his back once more as he leaned his side against the wall. "Many others would likely take that as an offer, but today has left little energy in either of us, I am sure you'd agree."
The knight's voice is soft - not what one would expect of a supposed captain - and in moments where he believes Ganon to not be paying him too close of attention, a hand is rubbing at his own throat.
"I knew they'd probably only use hyrulean traditions so..." Link trails off, fetching a small box from his back pocket prior to tossing it over to the king.
The box is unassuming and appears cheap, but the ring inside - one in a style much closer to a traditional gerudo ring - clearly would fetch a few silver rupees at least. "Keep it or sell it; I'd figure it'd at least be better than what they gave you." He's refusing to meet that golden gaze.
