Anthony Bourdain having visited both Nicaragua and Panamá but not Costa Rica is heartbreak and tragedy for me specifically :-(
#whyyyy both our neighboring countries but not us#I kind of get it tho :-/ unlike the rest of LatAm we don't have a culture of street food#and if you were to ask me personally perhaps our culinary identity would have felt lacking or come up short#but still I think he would have loved to eat chifrijo#me lo imagino yendo a una sodita en el puerto 🥺 qué lindo#going to Talamanca or maybe even Tortuguero#definitely Guanacaste even if briefly#there was so much he could have explored! and I'm sure he would have had a ball calling out the corruption that exists in this country#anyways I need to watch those two episodes soon as I can!#txt.me
