in retrospect it's kinda crazy how much graph theory they made us use in machine learning 1 without teaching it at all
#isnt the whole point of maths that u dont go βjust trust me on thisβ#tbf i struggled through learning it for no reason. but im soooo excited to hopefully do more ml next year. coding this sem will be plentifu#but soooo boring. i want to do actual programming. data analysis and stats doesnt count i want to build something fun#I'm so curious about how they teach ml in compsci. do they do less maths? how do they teach other stuff that uses algebra etc#I've looked on the modules and they don't seem to have lin alg or abs alg courses? need to pester a cs student now#.ramblings
