I love my mom and she loves us but sometimes she's just like... a mean person. She lashes out a lot and gets really angry and has to be like... almost scolded about it. And she doesn't take care of herself at all, and vocally hates herself, and when we try to bring it up out of concern she gets mad or like... spiteful. Like she just got into a shouting match with my dad because she's had some sort of horrific chest infection for over a month now (and when she went in the doctor didn't even do a damn chest x-ray, just prescribed some antibiotics based on verbal testimony without an actual exam) and, well first she got mad at me for asking her a question like "Hey why do you lick your tissues to get rid of the stuff you cough up instead of spit it?" and she just got so fuckin' pissed off, and then Dad told her to take her medicine and she got pissed off again because she "doesn't like that tone where he talks to her like he's her father" but he kinda has to do that because she's childish. She refuses to care for herself and has to be coaxed into doing any kind of like...just basic maintenance. We have to beg her to go to the doctor when she's unwell half the time, she complains about her pain all the time but resolutely refuses to actually do anything about it other than some Advil, even when I worked at the massage place and could get her discounted massages she refused to get one while literally groaning in pain with every little movement because she doesn't like her body, but she also can't exercise like she wants to while in so much pain, but refuses to do anything to relieve the pain until she can exercise and lose weight, and she just- she makes us watch her mistreat and insult herself like every fucking day and when we try to help or tell her we're worried she gets upset or just dismissive in a "I'm okay sweetie," way. And my grandma was the same way and I'm worried my mom is going to kill herself or run down her health and die the same way Grandma (her mom) did just by neglect of her own well-being but at the same time I'm furious with her almost all the time because she's mean to us about it. She'll apologize sometimes but like I said, she never just does that on her own, it's always after someone else has to scold her or explain to her why that was mean. She's genuinely sorry, genuinely feels bad about hurting our feelings most of the time! But she never just reaches that conclusion on her own.

but the tl;dr of it is they both like it, but when they were in their catching feelings phase, jacob really liked it because he would pretend to be asleep when syb would kiss him good morning/goodbye before she slipped out of the vets center in the wee hours of the morning (because if she knew he knew she did that she would stop lol)

31. Who kisses the inside of their partner’s palm?

ough i mean i feel like it's something they'll both do. jacob gently swipes his thumb over her cheekbone, she takes his wrist and presses a kiss to his palm. jacob is fucking into syb and she'll reach up to cradle his face in her hands, he'll grab one of her wrists and kiss her palm. it's one of their smaller, more tender and intimate gestures. also something that they only ever do in private

33. Who would they love to go on a double date with?

this is such a cop-out answer and i'm sorry but i really don't think they're the type of people who really do double-dates. in their canon-verse (katc) by the time they actually "officially" become a couple, like...nobody likes them. i mean. there might be a handful of resistance members still willing to talk to syb but for the most part she burned those bridges. they r...friendless losers <3 (besides i don't think jacob likes it when he has to share syb's attention with other people, the possessive bastard) in a no cult au i still think this applies, less because no one likes them, but more because i don't think there's much overlap in their friend groups so it would just be...awkward...so they just go on dates where it's just the two of them

Bonnie is so smart and so energetic and so social and SO BORED that I finally caved in and signed up for a 6-week puppy training “Kindergarten” class, starting in early April. This place is really close to my house, affordable, has great reviews, and they also offer agility course training, which I think Bonnie will LOVE. She’s already running around like the whole world is her agility course, and she takes commands like no one’s business.

23: How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?

She becomes kind of distant and resentful if someone has something she wants- if its some physical thing, shell probably steal it. Not from the person she's jealous of but from wherever they got it- she doesn't want to steal from a friend! But shes not above stealing in general :/ if its a non object shes jealous of, like a loving relationship/etc? She'll probably try and imitate the bits of the thing shes jealous of and convince herself she has it.

 33: Could they be considered lazy?

Probably not :/ i mean that bitch is doing zoomies and wrestling around all the damn time, she needs way more exercise than the average human. Only lazy if she gets bored. If she gets bored she straight up finds some things impossible to do due to executive dysfunction, which may seem like laziness to some people.

D) Have they always had the same physical appearance, or have you had to edit how they look?

She didn't used to have freckles but I noticed a lot of people seemed to add them when they drew her and I liked it so added them on! As well, Her hairstyle fluctuates a lil bcs i and others have drawn her w a couple shades of the reddish/brownish hue. In canon ive added that this is bcs she sometimes dyes it ;)

2. talk about a notable time a narrative or character has looked you dead in the eyes and said “fuck your plan, here’s what we’re actually doing.”

I already talked about Addicted to You here, but it's not like it hasn't happened more than once lol... Satin and Sawdust wasn't quite as surprising, since I'd already gone through the Addicted to You adventure. But it did not turn out how I planned, at all. I was going to have a Dean/Cas/Meg threesome in that fic. It was the BASIS for the whole story! I wrote the fic BECAUSE I wanted to dump those 3 in the sheets naked and see what shenanigans they got up to.

But as the story progressed and it got closer and closer to when that scene could happen, I realized... oh fuck. Dean and Cas don't want to, and Meg isn't going to go there. Dammit! I had it tagged and warned for and everything, and I had to remove the tags and write a note, because people were waiting for it it. I was bummed, they were bummed, but honestly I think it turned out better for not having the scene. And I strongly hint in the epilogue that it'll happen eventually anyway lol

8. what’s your relationship with constructive criticism and feedback like? do you seek it out? how well do you take it?

Just like any author I love positive feedback from my readers, but I will Marie Condo comments offering "constructive criticism" because i didn't fucking ask you ok.

However, I actually really enjoy working with alpha and beta readers. I can usually tell when I need someone's help, and seek it out. @jupiterjames is my first go to because she's my bestie and we've been helping each other write fic for almost a decade now, so she knows my quirks, and knows when to tell me I'm being stupid and to get over myself. She's also really good at letting me rant my way into figuring out the problem myself, which I think is often what I need most. Sometimes she's a little too positive, and I'm like no it's broken, TELL ME WHAT'S WRONG, and she'll give actual advice on what to change plot-wise, and I'm always hella amused when that happens.

I'll also poke @bendingsignpost for help because we've gotten really good at bouncing ideas off each other, and he almost always comes up with something spectacular that I'm like no no no you should write that, and we end up spending a few hours pouring out ideas on each other's heads. It's fun, and a good writing exercise. Turns out my teachers were right that brainstorming sessions are good for me lol

You've also started to be a really big help for me lately! Thank you for letting me attack you with a wall of text the last few times I got stuck ;D

Obviously criticism isn't all fun and games, but for the people I trust to talk about my work with, I'm fully open to advice on how to fix things I'm doing wrong. There are a lot of improvements I've made over the years because of their help, and I welcome more feedback in the future :D

14. what’s your worst writing habit?

I'll find a favorite phrase and use it too many times in a single story. This is something that jupiterjames has pointed out to me and teased me about, and I'm much more aware of it and more careful of it, but I still fuckin' do it! XD

40. best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten.

I gave a few examples here, but anyone who says that I wrote a line so good they got angry about it is my favorite person. Oh, you're mad that I evoked emotions? Sorry not sorry, but you have my permission to tattoo that line on your body ;D
