she’s naturally Amber’s sister, and just like Amber, has a thing for a certain pair of wheels- only she’s into rollerskating... namely roller derby style roller skating. she also does tricks on them, and can damn near do the equivalent of parkour while roller skating. she loves cooking, especially baking & pies (quiches and stuffed pastries are her jam), loves videogames (carries her 3DS everywhere, has a penchant for the Phoenix Wright & Layton series, as well as most RPGs, honestly), and can drink you under the table. she also has a popular monster-equivalent instagram, and people love participating in her yearly scavenger hunt conducted through clues posted on it. don’t be fooled, though - it is hard to solve, and there are a few instances where it’s taken a full three days for someone to find her waiting at the end.

and for the record, Amber 100% calls her Sapphi - and her derby nickname is Phoenix Phire. (ﾉ>`ヮ>)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧  (she might have lost a bet to Amber on that front... but she secretly digs it.)

Ok let’s start off with a simple hc: how would the main four take their partner on a date?

Gon

He’s perfect at reading people and has very good instincts as to how people would behave. So he’d plan a date by studying his crush a bit and choosing something that person should enjoy. I think he’d get it right every time. With Killua the date would be either chocolate centred, or something to do with skateboarding. It might also be skating or rollerskating together. Of course they’d go on many dates, so these are all ideas to use depending on the season and availability.

Killua

He wouldn’t know where to start honestly. He’d stress out and think he needs to get it perfect. He’d ask Alluka, but when she tells him to relax and do something simple he’d feel it’s not enough. He’d go big and it’d probably be a mess or even an epic disaster, at least the first time. Gon’d love it anyway.

Leorio

I think while Leorio has strong general principles when it comes the big and important stuff like morality, or life, or good and evil, he can be easily influenced when it comes to the simpler and more superficial stuff. He’d plan a date at place that is currently considered hip. Be it a restaurant or club or something else. It’d be hit or miss with his date tbh, depends if the popular place would work for them. If the date is Cheadle she’d just make her preference clear if the place was not to her liking. Or she’d just decide she’s in charge of date planning from now on*. If it was Melody, she’d gently suggest some other places she might enjoy more.

Kurapika

Peeks dates? I mean that’d require for them to actually care about their life, open up emotionally and make time for other people…

Okay, okay… I’m sorry Peeks is an easy target XD Let’s say they survive the murder boat and improve their general life attitude. Or it’s an au situation.

Their dates would be perfectionist and planned to the last detail. There would be a schedule… in a binder damn it. All colour coded. They’d study the art of dating for this, in classical literature and modern culture. It’d be a quintessence of a date… practically a platonic ideal… the result might end up to be like Kurapika’s cooking for Menchi… depends who the date is. If it’s Oito she might be into it though, because she’s used to a royal treatment. A more regular person might just get exhausted, though. Kurapika might have a hard time getting what they did wrong. They’ll just try harder next time… their dating life would be hard.
