@dragonflytehanu thanks for the ask <3
Tell us about your Tav! Name, class and subclass, race, pronouns. Do you have a headcanon for where they're from? Their family? Are they a Dark Urge? Or did you choose an Origin Character? Was it an easy decision?
I already wrote a bit about Akachi here. To add: despite her being a Faithless (she doesn't hide it), people usually notice she always wear a necklace with the holy symbol of Eilistraee. The jewel was passed down to her from her mother Ardul'ylene (it was originally of her grandmother Esmerelle), when she decided to abandon her faith in the Dark Maiden: it has no religious meaning to Akachi. For her, it is simply a treasured memento of her family, a reminder that no matter where she is, her family is always with her.
Another fact about Akachi is that she is named after a Chosen of Myrkul. At first she wasn't happy when she learnt this; but she changed her mind after her parents narrated to her the story of the man, what he did and why (basically, they told her about the events of Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer). She's proud of her name and a sure way to greatly anger her is to insult her for it.
Kidis is my Dark Urge oc. She's a drow bard, playing her violin whenever she can because it temporarily soothes her growing unease about her violent urges. At first, she thought that her violent impulses & loss of memory were a symptom of ceremorphosis, but when it became clear that they aren't, she simply decide to ignore them, hoping (wrongly) that they will go away on their own. This is her usual way to deal with the issues she face. She also cares a great deal about her reputation, wanting to be unremarkable and forgettable as possible: the less people she has to interact with directly, the better.
3. Has your Character been using their illithid powers?
Akachi: only to rescue Shadowheart on the nautiloid and to read Astarion's mind when he tried to bite her. The latter event caused her to never use the powers for the rest of the game: she felt so awful after doing it because she violated someone else's mind and she loathes when it is done on her (and she will feel worse when she will learn about Astarion's past). She did it instinctively, thinking he was attacking her, but after Astarion left, she vowed to never doing it again and tried to apologize to him for it the next day.
Kidis: she is less careful about using them. She thinks that using them in order to avoid fights and to obtain useful information from enemies is acceptable.
24. Was your illithid tadpole empowered by anything in Act 1? If so, how does your Character feel about that?
No. Absolutely not. Neither Akachi nor Kidis use other tadpoles to empower their own. Why give more power to the source of your problems?
27. Who ended up in your Character's most used party?
Akachi: the main party for act 1 is Astarion/Karlach/Gale. Astarion is always in the party (initially because she doesn't trust him and wants to keep an eye on him, after she comes to enjoy his company), Gale is the one swapped out when I need another companion for their quest (only for gameplay reasons) and Karlach because she and Akachi get on well immediately (this won't last, though, because they will fall out in act 3 over how to deal with a certain npc).
Kidis: Astarion is always in the party as usual. There's also Lae'zel because Akachi didn't recruit her and I want to see her story. The last party member, for now, is Shadowheart.
#dragonflytehanu#asks#myasks#mybg3#myposts#bg3 oc: Akachi Farlong#bg3 oc: Kidis#bg3 act 1 asks#baldur's gate 3 spoilers#Kidis' answers are short because I'm in the druid grove in her playthrough so she is still in early development#and Akachi is a little more evil than planned#because she will wage war against the world for those she cares about#but she doesn't absolutely care about the fate of strangers and she can be rather callous towards them#although she performs good deeds (like helping the tieflings against the goblins)#it's because these benefit her or help her with her tadpole problem#this causes several arguments with Wyll seeing that she won't help strangers if there isn't any clear reward

(spoilers of JJk chapter 210)
I absolutely agree with after reading the chapter! Yuji’s feelings are so understandable! Why would he trust her and why should he even apologize? Especially after everything he’s been through. She literally has the intention of killing him. And why is Megumi so persistent on him apologizing saying “you better”.
And Hana already is pissing me off. And it’s just Megumi being on her side rather than Yuji’s is just what makes me even more mad. Like Megumi…why are you defending a complete stranger and telling your best friend to apologize and be nicer. YUJI HAS ALWAYS BEEN NICE TO EVERYONE SINCE THE BEGINNING AND ALMOST EVERYONE TOOK HIS KINDNESS AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THAT USING IT AGAINST HIM. And that Yuji thought of Nobara in that moment broke my heart. I’m still in denial that Nobara is actually dead, I refuse to believe that 😭
Now that the chapter has been officially published, I can finally reply to this :) Yes exactly!! Megumi seemed so OOC to me in this chapter.
Spoilers for JJK chapter 210
I couldn't believe what I was reading. Why does he talk to Yuuji like that and demand he apologizes to Hana? Megumi usually isn't the type to trust a stranger. And he KNOWS that Hana and Angel would try to kill Yuuji if they knew that he is Sukuna's vessel. So yeah, of course, Yuuji is reluctant to be all friendly with Hana. Idk but this change in Megumi's behavior bothers me a lot. I could always count on Megumi's intelligence and also on his love for Yuuji. I don't get why he is suddenly on Hana's side.
I saw people agree with Megumi that Yuuji is the one who changed, but I don't see it that way at all. Yuuji is still the hero, still the selfless man who wants to save as many people as possible. Of course, he wants to save the soldiers. And of course, he gets mad at Hana and Angel for saying they don't want to do that because they don't benefit from it. Also, yes I am still laughing about Hana being like, "oh I want to be a good person, so I deserve to be at Megumi's side," but then telling Yuuji, it's useless to save all those people. Lmaooo. I hate her so much aaahhhh!!
In my opinion, Megumi is the one who shows untypical behavior in this chapter, and it worries me A LOT!! "Let fate toy with you and die a fool." Yes, I think he is on the way to this ending if he trusts Hana, and he will get Yuuji killed on the way :( I think Hana is this "fate" and she is definitely toying with Megumi and turning him against Yuuji. I am irritated af because it really doesn't make sense. Megumi used to always be on Yuuji's side. He cares about Yuuji. He literally keeps saving Yuuji's life over and over again! So why would he suddenly act this way? I hope there will be an explanation in the next chapter! Hopefully, this is part of some plan Megumi has to trick Hana and Angel!!
And awww yes Yuuji is such a sweet guy, thinking about Nobara!! I also still have hope that she will come back!

🦋 stone ocean + eoh spoilers. stronger ones under cut
rewatching dio and pucci's dialogue and pucci is such a tragic character. this line really gets me
pucci's entire character was formed from guilt. it's canonical he always wondered why he was the twin that survived, and thus most likely given he joined the church to help with the feeling of having been responsible from his twin's death. and going around almost a decade of church service to feel he's compensating something, at least in the spiritual level, he ends up, while inadvertidedly, causing the real deaths of his two sibilings. and in the worst personal way for him. and he's just 16 and he's so hurt and he cannot talk to this with anyone. and so he turns to this enigmatic stranger with the bad, bad luck that is a guy that believes violence is necessary to reach heaven
and i think that's the first thing that dooms pucci: this man is not judging him; quite the opposite, you will be a good person, and have a spirit noble enough to get to heaven, for having caused death.
the second thing, and what effectively seals pucci's fate, is the heaven dio proposes
this proposed heaven will bring "peace of mind", but not in the just existing way, but rather in a concrete one: humans will become aware of their fate
that's the part that really sells the idea to pucci, i think also a lot of fans gloss over. pucci isn't following the plan of some adult he admired, pucci saw what felt to him the sole way to stop feeling guilty, and made the plan his own. when i got to pucci's explanation, i had to stop and wonder why would dio come up with it. and that's when i realized, pucci is not following dio's exact plan, he has appropiated it and molded it to his needs
pucci explains that he, as owner of the stand, will keep speeding up the world until it reaches a reset point, creating a new universe, where humans will know what happened to them in the previous and learn to navigate it knowing the consequences to their actions. this, in short, will make grieving easier. and pucci, who caused this, will remain in the middle of everything, controlling it and functioning as an eternal tension point between the two universes. this is an absolutely miserable way to exist
the misery and strain of that place does not benefit dio, who's ego far too big that he keeps getting minions for everything. why would pucci accept this and not, say, do like his tutor and find someone else? easy, because pucci feels he deserves to be there. it's his price to pay, his way to both ease himself from the guilt that haunts him, and being able to symbolically help and warn people. how mad can someone be at you if they always knew what was coming? how guilty can you be at doing something the other person knew would happen? isn't it easier for the soul to start grieving a decade before needing to?
pucci's first stand is to forget and being able to dream of another reality. he was the most suitable to develop a time speeding ability, in desesperation to just get over grief. and given how dio studied stands, he finished molding him into that
this is also supported by the fact that he is the only person dio trusts his plan to. dio hates mindless followers, he likes toying with weak minded people. when he says he hates dogs is because they're brainlessly loyal, and he will put his agent's trust at game not because he wants to be sure they are loyal per se, but because he hates that type of submission. he asked vanilla ice to decapitate himself not because he needed, but to make him freak out. he killed enyaba not because he she wasn't useful enough but because he just doesn't care about his minions. dio likes defiance, specifically smothering it. that's why he left hol horse live, for having enough galls to point a gun at him, while enyaba died loyal. and that's why dio considers pucci not a minion, but a friend
dio knows pucci would have not used the plan to, say, resurrect him. he knew pucci would have used it for himself. he hands the bone to him after asking him if he would have used white snake on him. and pucci realizes he could, but he won't.
(notice the difference of treatment between their manga interactions, versus in eyes of heaven when pucci spends more time with dio and his admiration grows to love while dio doesn't even look at him when talking, because pucci became a follower)
the plan works, because pucci took the reins all by himself, and decided to be alone at the top. while at the same time isolating himself from the rest of his peers. after dio's death he could have met someone else, someone who would have listened to him and help him managing guilt. but he remained alone. when he goes down, he does not care about actually living, he wants to be a martyr and die where it would be useful. that thought was far too rooted into his head to be something to sprout in the moment. he decided his fate would be being alone and he continued his path, forever compensating his feeling of guilt with manipulating people from the shadows in order of a greater good, a good that cannot be bad despite the deaths it needs to succeed, because then you will know what happened to you, and you cannot really get mad can you? just how bad can he be if he's causing pain for something greater?
in short: if there is a villain that deserved to be redeemed, is pucci
#tl;dr he needs a therapist and also to get with a real man. like m-#jjba#enrico pucci#d*op*cci shippers don't even look at this post. get some reading comprehension

How would Tamaki, Kirishima, and Mirio deal with having a crush they've been pining over for literal months that's always pushing them away? It's not because she doesn't LIKE them, necessarily. But it's a grand combination of shyness, insecurity, never dating/fallen in love before, and being called ugly/being asked out as a joke. That's all their attempts at establishing a romantic relationship are to her: one big, mean joke. She gets a little mean with them sometimes, but that's just the hurt.
I felt that in the heart oof I hope anyone out there’s who’s experienced this kind of bullying from other people is able to one day overcome it and find peace and love in yourself, and genuine kindness and care in others! Until then, I will send all my love to you guys.
Requests are temporarily closed so I can catch up on the ones I’ve received!
AMAJIKI TAMAKI
-What first draws him to you is the surprising lack of anxiety he feels when you’re around. Like, usually people, especially strangers, would raise his stress levels significantly. But with you, he feels like he can think, and speak.
-Ofc he’s still shy on top of that, so he doesn’t usually say much...but baby steps. He finds himself falling into a friendship with you pretty quickly, and you’re attentive to his needs and struggles, which he appreciates.
-But then he realizes his heart is starting to speed up when you’re around, and at first he’s like ‘oh no is it the anxiety’ so he tells Mirio about it and Mirio is like ‘aw you have a crush, I think that’s the first one you’ve ever told me about’ and Tamaki is like, dying on the inside because what the heck is he supposed to do with a crush?! It’s not like he can tell you, he’ll probably faint.
-So the months go on and his feelings for you only get stronger. He learns to deal with it, but then...the worst thing happens.
-The day he finally psyched himself up enough to tell you about his feelings, he hears whisperings in the hallway about you getting a love letter on your desk that morning. And his heart just...implodes, and he feels kind of sick to his stomach.
-The whole day is thrown off, and he spends most of the time trying to talk himself out of his sadness, like ‘maybe it wasn’t meant to be, then’ and some more negative things like ‘as if she would actually return my feelings’. it’s sad.
-He doesn’t see you most of the day, under the guise of being busy, but really he just doesn’t know how to deal with the thought of seeing you with someone else.
-He even waits until everyone leaves the school before heading out himself, just so he doesn’t risk running into you.
-But fate has other plans
-He’s just about to leave the campus when he hears muffled sobs coming from somewhere nearby. he may not be a people person, but he’s still a hero. If someone needs help with something, he’s not going to ignore them.
-he follows the cries to a small patch of trees not too far away, unassuming looking but dense enough to provide some good cover. A good place for hiding and crying, also.
-He’s lowkey heartbroken to find out that it’s you who’s crying, and looking so broken and downtrodden. He makes sure to call your name quietly before coming up to you and taking a seat, so he doesn’t startle you (or your reflexes).
-You turn away from him slightly, but don’t outright tell him to leave, not yet.
-He just sits by you for a few minutes, letting you cry. he tries to offer you a gentle hand on the shoulder, but you wince away from him like is touch burns you, so he tries not to get too close after that.
-Finally, he asks you what’s got you so upset. And you pull that stupid love letter out of your pocket and shove it at him.
-He a little confused at first because like, isn’t a love letter usually a nice thing?
-But then you explain to him that a group of boys had written it as a joke and given it to you, and waited at the ‘meeting spot’ with a camera to capture your reaction and make fun of you.
-Never in his life has he ever wanted to beat up his fellow students, but there’s a first for everything I guess. He’s shocked and appalled that someone could be so cruel, especially to you. You’re so kind, and smart, and caring, and strong, and you make him feel safe. He couldn’t imagine ever hurting you.
-He tells you all of that, knowing from his own experiences that you probably won’t believe it, and he leaves off the part where he’s totally head over heels for you. to tell you something like that right now would probably only end badly for both of you.
-He’ll do what he can in the following months to try and boost your confidence, and he’ll absolutely confront the jerks who had the audacity to make you cry. For the time being, he’ll be a friend to you, a good friend, until you’re both in a place where it’s better for him to admit his feelings.
-And when he does, it probably takes some coaxing and a lot of patience, but he’ll never get short tempered with you, or give up on you, because he loves you so much and see so much worth in you, even if you might not be able to see it yourself.
KIRISHIMA EIJIROU
-He likes you the moment you start talking. He’s just such a friendly guy, it’s hard to not get along with him, even if you tried. He’s got his own personal issues, but he’s genuine in everything he does and everything he feels. An actual ray of sunshine.
-It doesn’t take long for you guys to become friends, a few conversations in class and soon enough he’s actively seeking you out. He really likes how you guys just seem to click together, and how you work so well as a team - in all aspects. He starts growing feelings for you pretty soon after you become friends, though his own insecurities keep him from saying anything.
-He struggles with self worth sometimes, especially when he thinks about the person he used to be, so a little piece of him will doubt that you could ever return his feelings. So he decides to stay friends with you for now, until he deems himself worthy of your affection. But he’s happy you’re in his life.
-He hadn’t planned on confessing to you, not for a long time, but shit happens. A couple months into the school year, you guys are walking to class from the dorms, when suddenly you stop, and try to tug him in a different direction.
-He wonders what you’re doing, but you just say that you’d rather take a different route to class, one that’s less busy.
-He doesn’t get it, though. There are only like four people ahead of you, and one small group of girls standing around.
-You roll your eyes and huff a little, telling him that it’s fine, he can walk whatever way he wants to walk, but you’re going a different way despite the fact that it’ll probably make you late.
-He debates chasing after you, but you seem to be pretty upset about something...and it might be something important. A couple minutes probably won’t be enough time to talk about it, so he’ll wait for you to collect your thoughts some and then he’ll ask about it later.
-He continues walking towards the school building, but pauses momentarily when he passes the group of girls, who start giggling as soon as he approaches. He’s like ‘???what’s so funny??’ because they’re tittering and looking at him and tittering some more. Like, does he have something on his face?
-It turns out to be something not so benign. One of the girls is like ‘It’s nothing, you just look better without that awful girl lurking at your side’
-And he’s like ‘what awful girl? The only girl who was with me was-’ and it clicks for him.
-The girls continue chattering amongst themselves, making snide comments about you, the way you look, your skills, your personality. If they have the audacity to say those things in front of him, then there’s no doubt they’ve said them in front of you too.
-Boi doesn’t get mad very often, but this is one of those rare instances.
-He absolutely lays into the group of girls, knocking them down a peg and calling them out for what they are; bullies. They know nothing about you, about your kindness, or your smile, or your sense of humour, or the way you care about others.
-He definitely tells them what kind of strength you really have, both as a hero and as a person, and how you’re a better friend and a better human than any one of them.
-He’ll leave them with an offhanded threat, telling them that if they ever say another word to or about you ever again, there will be hell to pay.
-He’s kind of surprised by himself, like. He knows he cares about you deeply, but he never knew he’d be so fiercely protective of you like that. And little does he know, you heard every word he said.
-You had turned back a couple seconds after you stormed away, worried out of your mind that your outburst would cost you a friendship, as if Kirishima is that easy to get rid of.
-You don’t try to run up to him before class, and instead you wait until lunch to pull him aside and thank him for sticking up for you. He’s kinda saddened that you didn’t just tell him that you were being bullied, but he also kind of gets it. It’s hard to let people in when others are hurting you. Hard to trust.
-But he makes you promise to tell him if anyone else says anything, because he wants to make sure that no one hurts you like that ever again. You’re iffy about it, because like, what if he gets tired of you, y’know? There’s always been a group of bullies in all your schools who’ve set their sights on you and used you as a verbal punching bag; horrible ‘pranks’ and humiliating ‘jokes’.
-But like I said, he gets it with the self worth thing, and he can’t imagine what kind of shambles your confidence is in after so many years of being treated like shit. He’ll let you know that he’s proud of you for pushing on, and that he’s always gonna do what he can to take care of you, because he loves you a lot, even if you don’t believe it.
-It kinda just slips out that he likes you as more than a friend, and once he realizes what he said he turns as red a his hair. You’re also pretty flustered, and you don’t really believe him, but he’s okay with that for now. He can’t expect you to just jump blindly into something that has in the past proven harmful.
-He’s gonna work to prove himself to you, however he can! And when you finally do end up letting him in, he’s going to do everything in his power to keep your trust and your love.
TOGATA MIRIO
-Probably the most persistent out of everyone. Once he sets his sights on you, he doesn’t let you go. Not in a creepy way, though. If you really express a disinterest in having him around, he’s obviously not going to push your boundaries, but he’ll always be kind to you and he’ll be there if you need him.
-That being said, he’s an easy person to have as a friend. He’s strong and smart and so, so kind. His sense of humour never fails to lift your spirits, and training with him is what helps you improve the most in your studies.
-He doesn’t really change his attitude very much when he realizes he’s falling in love with you. He keeps being kind, keeps treating you well, all of that.
-But when you realize you might be falling for him? You’re terrified. You’ve never been in love before, so you’re not sure if what you’re feeling even is love! You’ve heard descriptions of love before, but everything sounds different depending on who you ask.
-On top of that, would he even feel the same?
-You’re training one afternoon when it hits you, your realization, as well as all the negative thoughts that come with it.
-You start losing focus, and you take a couple hits, and Mirio is like ‘okay something just happened, are you okay?’ and you tell him that you’re fine, you’re just tired all of a sudden, and you need to take a quick walk to clear your head.
-Unlike Kirishima, Mirio follows you. His intuition tells him that something isn’t quite right, and that it’s really taking a toll on you. You never get distracted like that, especially not when you’re training with him.
-He loses sight of you for a couple minutes, but finds you again on a bench just outside the Yuuei Gardens. You’re just sitting there, staring at the pathway, looking lost in thought and horribly sad.
-He takes a seat beside you, facing you slightly, and very slowly places his hand on yours. You startle a little, and glance towards him while trying to blink away budding tears. Once you see that it’s him though, you look away and try to wipe your face.
-He outright asks what’s got you so upset all of a sudden, or if something happened earlier, or if he did something that upset you. And you’re like ‘of course not, you’re perfect’ which he’ll remember and talk to you more about later. For now he’s focused on you.
-He eventually gets the truth out of you, though he pushes a little more than might be considered necessary, so it comes out as an outburst. Your voice is raised and your tone is stressed, as you cry at him that you think you like him but you have no idea what love is supposed to feel like, and even if you do love him why the hell would he love you back? You’re upset because you’ve basically set yourself up for failure and heartbreak, and because of your stupid feelings.
-He gets really serious, enough that it’s a little concerning, and he very sternly tells you that anyone would be lucky to have your love and your heart, and whatever that means for you is up to you, because love feels different for everyone and it feels different depending on who it’s meant for.
-Plus, if anyone ever thought they wouldn’t have their feelings returned, it’s him. He thinks you’re such an amazing person, strong and quick witted, compassionate and warm, always willing to stand up for others.
-He doesn’t like that you think so little of yourself, but he supposes he understands. He doesn’t know what kinds of things you’ve gone through, but he knows it isn’t always easy to love yourself, and that it’s something you need to work at.
-He just hopes that one day you’ll be able to trust him, and trust yourself. However long it takes, he’ll wait for you. He’s not gonna try and persuade you to enter a relationship with him right then and there, but h’s definitely gonna do his best to woo you. Even if it takes years, he’s going to work for your trust and stand by you while you work on yourself
-He is the number one supportive best friend, and when the time comes, the number one most supportive boyfriend..

A CRIMINAL MASQUERADE
CHAPTER 5 — GUNPOINT
MASTERLIST
Hyun leads Haknyeon to where they initially met and Haknyeon lets out the breath he had been holding. Now that they are well away from the public eye, Haknyeon feels as if he can breathe freely, no longer fearing that he will do something or the other to mess up and enrage his parents. Hell, even being here would assure certain death upon him, but he doesn't care. He just needs prying, piercing eyes off him. He doesn't care that Hyun is watching him take deep shaky breaths and try to smile, his pink lips twitching but never forming the smile.
"Why are you acting as if you're running from the law?" Hyun asks insensitively, unfamiliar with the feeling of comforting someone who looks like they're on the verge of a mental breakdown.
Haknyeon huffs quietly, flashing a small pained smile at Hyun. "I practically am, it's just that the so-called law--" he puts the word in inverted commas for extra emphasis--"is rather unjust to be the law," he wisecracks. "You should know that feeling if you have rich parents." He adds after seeing the confusion on Hyun's face.
"I don't know the feeling of having parental love or hate," Hyun informs coldly, sparking Haknyeon's interest. "They left when I was young. They could be dead, they could be thriving; why should I care about those who abandon me?" She scoffs, clearly disliking the subject.
"Was that a sensitive topic?" Haknyeon inquires.
"No, not really," Hyun replies, shrugging. Haknyeon nods and decides to not press the subject any longer since he notices that she has her arms crossed over her chest and is digging her nails into her skin. They fall into a comfortable silence, the quiet orchestra filling the heavy atmosphere and making it a little lighter.
Haknyeon is worried when he sees that her long nails are slowly sinking into her skin. Impulsively, he removes her hand from her skin, startling her. He grimaces when he sees the blood. He pulls out the handkerchief from his suit pocket and gently dabs the blood with a small smile.
"You should stop thinking about whatever you're thinking about, you're getting angry," Haknyeon is now a lot gentler now that he has taken his mind off his worries and is simply focused on the soothing music that almost lulls his heart into calmness.
"Why should you care for me? You've know me for no longer than an hour," Hyun has never experienced such kindness from a stranger so it's strange when there's finally someone who does show an act of kindness. She feels sort of bad for what she has planned for him, but she cannot do anything about it. His fate is sealed and she must accept that.
Before Chanhee leaves, Renjun grabs his wrist, making him turn. "I'll help you find him. This bastard has been on my nerves for a while and I wanna be the one to destroy her," he offers. Judging from the tone of his voice, he is leaving Chanhee with no choice and Chanhee describes what Haknyeon looks like before they part ways to search for him.
Renjun doesn't search for Haknyeon yet. Instead, he scans the area to see a familiar brunette in a white feather-finished mask and crisp tuxedo. He dodges dancing couples and hopes that no one notices him, gets annoyed and acts like an entitled bitch. Being unnoticed is far better than having to deal with someone arrogant.
"Renjun, you got anything?" His friend in the white mask asks, ensuring no one else can hear him.
"Yeah, we gotta search for a guy in a golden mask to find her then finish her. His name is Haknyeon so if you see him, just act friendly and, by all means, do not offer him a cigar or else I can and will send you to hell, Lee Donghyuck," Renjun instructs, wearing a dark warning looking.
Donghyuck laughs. "Relax, I don't offer everyone I meet a cigar. Just you," he reassures, but Renjun glares at him untrustingly. He knows Donghyuck better than Donghyuck knows himself. He knows damn well that he'll offer Haknyeon a cigar despite it being frowned upon in society. Image is a massive part of stay out of jail.
Renjun, though notorious amongst commoners, has learned that the rich pay no heed to what goes on amongst commoners and uses it to his advantage. The sole reason he is forcing Donghyuck to not offer anyone a cigar is because it is frowned upon by society and, to be a criminal like him, image is everything. He needs to seem innocent to the rich so that he can easily get away with some of the twisted things he does. Donghyuck makes it annoyingly harder and it irks Renjun a lot.
"Do you have any clue where he could be?" Renjun asks. Donghyuck has this special talent of being able to tell where someone is with the bare minimum of information and it amazes Renjun that someone so incompetent can be so gifted.
"Golden mask? Oh, I think he went upstairs with some woman. They could be y'know," He answers, raising his eyebrows with a sly and cheeky smile on his face.
Renjun rolls his eyes and scoffs, "Pervert. You're like those whooperups*--absolutely unbearable."
"Hey, the possibility is always open, amirite?" Donghyuck shrugs. "Shall we search for them or are you gonna stand around and cuss at me like you're running from the mutton shunters**?" He wisecracks.
"You're begging to cop a mouse***, aren't you?" Renjun asks, annoyed. Before Donghyuck can spit out another intolerably sarcastic remark, Renjun holds his hand in his face. "It's rhteroical, and this conversation ain't gonna continue any longer, lead the way." He says, allowing Donghyuck to lead the way.
Chanhee spots Renjun and his friend in the white feathered mask heading up the stairs. He quickly catches up with them and notices Renjun reaching for inside his waistband. He simply follows them quietly, awestruck at how quickly they walk.
"What is in your waistband?" Chanhee curiously inquires, unable to contain his curiosity any longer.
Chanhee is taken aback when Renjun suddenly aims a pistol at his forehead. "You are not to breathe a word of what is about to happen, okay?" He threatens.

Will Dany love Jon more than the throne? She loves him and he loves her. Many ants think she will love the throne most. Thats how hey get their evil Dany theories to work. However, most people would be willing to give up on an ambition if the price was grievous harm to a loved one. Everyone hates Stannis for doing the reverse. Which way will Dany go? She wants the throne but she doesn't really 'love' the throne does she?
Dany will absolutely love Jon more than the throne because Dany doesn’t “love” the throne at all. I would argue that Dany is only seeking the throne out of a sense of duty and responsibility both to her birthright/family name and the common people. She has been raised on the belief that what Robert’s Rebellion did to her family is a great injustice, one that she must right in order to redeem her family name. Even once she learns that her father was an evil man and that his death was perhaps justified, she still believes (and I would agree) that the fates of the rest of her family were an injustice/murder. She similarly believes that the common people are suffering and oppressed under the current system (which they are) and seeks to liberate them by “breaking the wheel.” So her quest for the throne has nothing to do with personal desires or gratification and everything to do with what she believes is right.
We can see this both in her character and choices–both book and show versions–and in the things Dany thinks about in the books. Across the books, the word “throne” is mentioned in her POV chapters a total of 46 times. This includes Viserys’s dialogue about this subject, of course, as well as any time anyone else has mentioned this to her. But “common people,” “my people,” and “your people” (when others talk to her about her people) are mentioned 72 times. Most tellingly, “home” is mentioned 68 times, and “love” a whopping 128 times. Dany is not after the throne out of some misguided plan for power, wealth, or glory. She never thinks about any of these things. She’s more interested in helping others and possessing the power to do that consistently.
Even Tyrion knew that Dany cared more about family than power. He said as much to F!Aegon:
“I told you, I know our little queen. Let her hear that her brother Rhaegar’s murdered son is still alive, that this brave boy has raised the dragon standard of her forebears in Westeros once more, that he is fighting a desperate war to avenge his father and reclaim the Iron Throne for House Targaryen, hard-pressed on every side … and she will fly to your side fast as wind and water can carry her. You are the last of her line, and this Mother of Dragons, this breaker of Chains, is above all a rescuer. The girl who drowned the slaver cities in blood rather than leave strangers to their chains can scarcely abandon her own brother’s son in his hour of peril. And when she reaches Westeros and meets you for the first time, you will meet as equals, man and woman, not queen and supplicant. How can she help but love you then, I ask you?” –Tyrion VI ADWD
There’s no F!Aegon in the show, but Jon is actually Rhaegar’s son, a man fighting a desperate war who Dany has met in Westeros, eventually (in my opinion) come to respect as an equal, and loved as a man, just as Tyrion predicted. I don’t think Dany will care more about her claim than about Jon himself.
Even in the show, Dany has twice now (both in the HOTU vision and when she lands at Dragonstone) walked right by the throne instead of touching it, called instead to a higher purpose. I think this literal action is also symbolic of her evolving priorities.
Further, we can see that she desires a family and love far more than she does a throne. Even Daario, whom she admits to herself doesn’t really love her, but more the idea of her as queen, is enough to make her question her entire journey.
“I would give up my crown if he asked it of me, Dany thought … but he had not asked it, and never would. Daario might whisper words of love when the two of them were as one, but she knew it was the dragon queen he loved.“ –Daenerys VII ADWD
If she would have given up her throne for Daario, can you imagine how much more willing she would be for Jon?
What she wants more than anything is the safety and freedom of her people, but as far as her presonal goals are concerned? What she wants most is a family and someone who genuinely loves her. Remember, she has literally never had this with anyone. Her mother died birthing her, leaving Viserys as her only family, and we all know the reality of that relationship. Dany has been, for all intents and purpose, alone for her entire life. For Jon to love her, really love her, and want a family and a simple life with her, would be much more important to her than any throne. Her own “dream” is for something like that:
“In her dream they were man and wife, simple folk who lived a simple life in a tall stone house with a red door. In her dream he had been kissing her all over–her mouth, her neck, her breasts.” –Daenerys II ADWD
It’s worth noting that Jon has similar dreams:
“When the dreams took him, he found himself back home once more, splashing in the hot pools beneath a huge white weirdwood that had his father’s face. Ygritte was with him, laughing at him, shedding her skins until she was naked as her name day, trying to kiss him.” –Jon VI ASOS
They both dream of a simple life where they are loved and happy, home at last.
So no. Dany won’t love the throne more than Jon. And if they both live until the end, I really do believe that their happiest endgame wouldn’t be ruling at all. Like I’ve said before, I’m ok with and would be happy with an endgame of Jon and Dany as king and queen of the 7K, but I think it’s equally likely that after saving the world and instituting a new system of government they might flee to find a semblance of the life they’ve always dreamed of, together :)
