Time - Mortal Essence

Mortal Essence was something I came up with for my Percy Jackson OC but then I thought of it and was like HELL YEAH so it’s Time’s now

Basically, in my head, god’s have their essence that mortals can’t see or they will die instantly. Like with Semele, Dionysus’s mother, she saw Zeus’s essence and disintegrated immediately

In contrast, a mortal essence is an essence that can make the user have powers on par with gods, or turn the user into a god temporarily

We all know about Fierce right? You know, the war god that can temporarily take over Time’s body? Well, Fierce is Time’s quirk.

Sky - Goddess Guardian

Ok…so maybe he’s the goddess’s guardian but shhhhhhh

This quirk was inspired by Demon Snow, an ability from Bungo Stray Dogs

Basically, Sky has a goddess or an avatar of a goddess who protects him and can and will kill you should he ask her to

He’s best friends with her, don’t worry

I mean, Sun was also in the academy guys, she can and will fuck you up should you try and hurt Sky

That being said, Sun is and isn’t Sky’s quirk

I might say that it’s Farore that’s his guardian instead of Hylia because his girlfriend is Hylia(technically)

Twilight - He technically already sort of has one(Wolfie) but Essence

If you watched My Hero or just know Todoroki’s backstory or you watched Heroes Rising you’ll know that quirks are hereditary

Twilight has sort of inherited Time’s quirk

BUT

He sort of has Malon’s quirk too

Malon has a quirk that allows her to command any animal to do something that she speaks to

But anyway, Twilight’s essence quirk allows him to turn into anything that he has DNA to as long as it is in his system

Plot twist

He can only turn into animals which makes things a little weird for him sometimes

His favorite for in his wolf form(obviously) he enjoys growling at people and he thinks that he looks cool

Warriors - Frost Blades

Warriors is just an ice user. I can sense it in my bones

Frost blades are mostly what they sound like

Blades made out of frost. If he’s mad enough and his quirk loses control, they can be solid ice

How the blades work is, no one but him can hold the blades, without the coldness of his hands, the frost will disperse

Knowing the Captain, he mostly doesn’t rely on them. He’s more like Aizawa, he uses his quirk when he feels like he must

Warriors quirk is mostly lackluster, but trust that he can still very much beat your ass without it

Wild - also technically already has one(bullet time) but Spiritual Connection

Spiritual Connection was thought of because of his whole thing with the other Champions

Wild can see and talk to spirits. He can also use their quirks, if they allow him to take it

Spirits love being around him, and he has probably been suspected of having AFO at some point, but he just has a lot of dead friends

Because why have living friends, when you can have dead ones? :3

Wind - Wind Bombs

Wind deserves bomb rights.

Wind bombs are small cyclones that can and will explode, should Wind make them

He probably blew a kid up once when his quirk first spawned

Parents hate him, but he loves his quirk

It’s a nice warning when you get hit was a wind bomb in your chest (:

Hyrule - Cloned

Hyrule can clone only inanimate objects

You know, like how his sword sort of has a shadow? I don’t feel like getting a picture

But when his enemy gets hit with his sword’s silhouette? Yeah, that’s his quirk

He clones money a fuck too

He’s a rebellious teen probably…idk

Legend - Alteration

Inspired by the whole painting shenanigans in albw

But anyway, Legend’s body is able to adapt to any environment

If he needs to keep up with a long legged person, boom, he has longer legs than they have now and now they have to jog to keep up

Need to get your phone that fell in the crack of your bed? Boom. Thin arm

Need to slip into a crack in a wall to kill that roach, bam, small and skinny

Four - Mental manipulation

You know how the colors have their respective emotions…but not really…I think

Like Blue is usually characterized as angry a lot

Like that

So with Mental Manipulation, Four can alter someone’s emotions or thoughts

It’s that simple

You’re feeling depressed today? Nah. Have some choccy milk and be immensely happy.

Your significant other is making you nervous with how much you want to kiss them? Nah, Four got you, have some more confidence

You think you’re a sane human being? Nah. Go commit arson

Ok ok ok I feel like rambling so I'm just gonna ramble about them (it probably is a bit long woops)

Tarmenel has the worse health out of them all (shout-out to my poor trans king with his con of 5); he used to be healthier but long story short there was a pretty bad siege on their kingdom when they were young and the nasty ass magic wound that cost him his eye also left him with chronic migraines among other things. He is the oldest, and the slowest to anger. People generally like him, it s clear he tries to rule in the continuity of how his mother did rather than his father; aroace king of my heart. He has big imposter syndrome and believes that Helorel should be queen and rules instead of him, but everyone else disagree.

Caun is the tallest and most outgoing of them all; people either refers to him as the grieving prince, or the slutty prince, no in between (he is both -). He is terrifying in battle and will kick your ass, but outside of the battlefield he is a delight unless you start shit about his siblings, then be ready for a fight. He sleeps around a lot but is also inside a big romantic guy, he just doesn't believe he deserves to make his own nice family due to some trauma but who doesn't have that you know! He watched his mum be burnt alive in front of him during the siege that costed his brother s eye and both brothers are scared of fire for that.

He loves to feel and look pretty the most, and he is the best singer out of all five (bard-barian, babey). He also tends to be the most "I found this child, it s mine now, I'm a father" out of them all. He is a big crybaby and cries really easily, especially for happy things. He sometimes uses she/her pronouns on occasions.

Helorel was treated as the outsider for a while and a lot of people still feel uneasy about her; she is an ice genasi due to a curse put on their family after her mother started gaining power behind her father s back and became more open of her own faith going to the worship of the Unicorn Queen rather than the Goddess of Winter. So as payback, they got a very very icy baby.

Her mother loved her just as much as the others, her father hated her guts and believed her to be an ill omen that he was losing control over the kingdom (he was a shitty ass guy and even shittier king). People started a rumour that she doesn't have a heart, others that it's entirely frozen. Neither are true, but Helorel played with that general idea that she is a cold scary woman to get things done and make sure foreign politician don't try to screw over her brother when they come to meet and bargain.

She is also teaching magic to a handful of kids who loves her a lot and think she isn't as scary as people keep saying. They sometimes try to find her a girlfriend which she finds a bit mortifying.

Her back is heavily covered in ice; the more she lose control of her emotions, the more the ice spreeds to the rest of her body and it's really painful for her to undo that process. She was here at the begining of the siege and share some of the trauma her brothers have, but they decided to send her away to protect her two younger siblings, just in case; she wishes she'd been here in case she could have saved their mother.

Foa is the least seen of the siblings, and some have started refering to her as the Veiled Ghost. She speaks little, but always sharp in what she has to say; she is in charge of the kingdom's finance and take it very seriously. She has also been studying poisons and due to some childhood trauma and the fact she is physically not as strong as her siblings nor does she has magic abilities like some of them, she always carry poisons on her person as a main defense.

Her biggest achievement is a magical labyrinth hidding her secret plant nursery, itself hidden under a pond. Inside, she breeds all sort of plants that she then sells; a lot of Wintercrest's reputation nowaday is based on those.

She hates physical touch and one of the rare exception are her brother Caun and her youngest sibling Lanthir. As she was supposed to be the last child to be have, she got her facial markings when she was young. When Lanthir was born much later, they received the markings, too.

She likes jewelry and such, and tends to often wears a veil in her hair. She is also aroace.

Lanthir is a weird little guy. They were bornt a bit more fey touched than the rest under the blessing of the Unicorn Queen due to their mother's faith and the fact her worship became the most popular one in the kingdom once their mother became Queen. It manifests in their tendancy to play pranks on others, eyes shining a little bit too bright, smile a little bit too unsettling, hair seemingly floating when there's no wind etc.

They are the youngest priest at the palace, and also the spymaster of the kingdom, sometimes referred to as its Eyes and Ears, or usually more as The Great Annoyance.

They always can be spotted smiling. If they don't, then you're about to probably get some broken bones. Or be murdered. Maybe. They are the one sibling people tend to be scared of the most due to their readiness to hurt others if they believe they are a threat to their family. The others are pretty good at making sure it doesn't go that far though.

Lanthir was still a toddler when the siege happened and thus, is the only one of the siblings who don't remember their mother; though they never talk about it, they feel extremely upset about that fact. They also know that they were not necessarily wanted as Foa already had gotten markings that meant she was to be the last child. All in all, they have A Lot Of Feelings about everything, but bottle it all up and like all of the other siblings, refuse to face their personal issues and trauma.

I haven’t drawn them in absolute forever (especially you Lanthir I’m sorry, you’re still my favourite terrifying cryptid child) so I quickly doodled all five siblings before DnD 

They’re from one of my homebrew settings! Tarmenel is the king, but the four others help him rule to make things easier especially since his health is! Not great!

here’s stuff about the two goddesses i made up (and who promptly took a life of their own), i was supposed to make an actual post but you know what, have the bulletpoint notes i made yesterday and then some more from today... under the read more cause it’s long

Magryn, goddess of oracles and tricksters -associated with magpies and has a lot in common with them -can see through their eyes, and see possible futures -very curious, about stuff and people -sometimes makes deal with people, help them with a thing and they serve her a while after their death -gets bored of people after a couple of decades on average and release them (or if they ask her) -they help look after her divine domain (large forest with a castle with very tall spires, keeps all her shinies there and gifts/sacrifices) -they go around the human world (usually in magpie form) to give messages/omens, cause mischief, steal shinies... -real magpies don't steal shinies, Magryn's birds who steal lots are a statistical anomaly and should not be counted -sometimes tag along when she goes around the human world, she loves parties and opportunities for mischief -very opportunistic especially for shinies or souls but also spite -actually a big softy but will plot your death if you tell her (unless you're Ona) -uses the environment to get back at people (gentle push make flowerpot fall on someone's head) or help people she likes -will pick fights with people/things bigger than her, but use all her tricks to beat them/scare them into surrendering -lots of people/things are bigger than her, has a big presence but actually smol -will give some 'luck' to people just cause she thinks they're entertaining -will ruin someone's day because she thinks they're an asshole -big soft spot for outcasts, tricksters and general chaotic good people -lots of spite for bullies, injustice and lawful evil people -technically has brown eyes but they go clear grey/blue when she looks through magpies' eyes or the future -which is 99% of the time, very few people see her brown eyes, very meaningful to have her full attention -does not have the best eyesight when not watching through birds cause it's very different and she's not used to 'human' eyesight -has medium brown skintone and long black wavy hair but has vitiligo so white patches of skin and white stripes in her hair -usually keeps her hair in a bun so it's less bothersome when flying but it's not a very tidy one -has wings, black and white like magpies, but usually keeps them hidden -wears backless dresses and shirts so they don't get torn when she spreads her wings -skirt of dresses are usually shorter at the front and long at the back -tends to go for flowy sleeves or no sleeves at all but always has a feathery short capelet that disappears into her wings when they're out -sometimes gives people a feather from the capelet, it's good to call for one (1) divine intervention from her -wears black and dark blue and green mostly(iridescent that looks black), with silver jewelry -will wear bright colored flower in her hair if Ona gives her one until it starts to wilt (can take months, divine flower) usually gets red -even bigger softy when her divine girlfriend is around, but will Hurt someone if they upset Ona -most likely to trick people into believing in her -very light cause hollow bones like a bird but packs a punch cause goddess -very rarely takes human lovers, not that interested anymore, only 'mortal' that she got really involved with recently (less than a hundred years) is one of her servant she didn't expect to keep so long -did not expect to get so attached to the idiot but he was entertaining and very persistent, is the mortal she's kept the longest so far, gets unexpected powers and character characteristic the longer she keeps him -very different relationship than with Ona, still very caring but different power dynamic, likes to boss him around and mess with him and he's really into that and very devoted -almost incapable of sitting properly, likes to perch on things -hoards her favorite human snacks whenever she or her servants make a trip to earth, recently that's ice cream, has yet to get bored of the never ending new flavours -does not hold her magic alcohol well, giggly trickstery drunk -has mixed opinions on australian magpies (different genus than hers entirely) so far wary respect is winning -will still pretend she can summon some to scare bad people who don't know their birds

Ona, goddess of plants and science (mostly medicine) -can grow anything anywhere, very proud of weeds that break through the sidewalk -no associated animals but is very fond of bees and hummingbirds -does not have a divine domain strictly separated from earth but has blessed plenty of earth spots -if a forest or field seems way too lush it's either fae or Ona, she's a lot nicer than the fae -will bless farms and gardens that are really well taken care of by people, giving really good harvest -in general likes plants more than people but will be nice to people who respect her domain -may cause a landslide to keep people from harming a forest -very supportive of people studying plants to help them survive the ever changing climate conditions -fascinated by all the uses people have found for plants over the millennia but especially natural medicine -will help people grow plants they need to make remedies and give them some divine inspiration to find new cool things -does not take servants but kind of adopts people sometimes while they're still living -is fond of children that take their first interest in botany and growing stuff -will keep their plants alive while they figure out how to properly care for them -big softy when it comes to things living in or near her blessed spots -will have trees move around to protect burrows or grow extra lush to hide nests -may drop a branch on a hunter's head... or a tree if they need more persuasion -but will provide convenient hollow tree and the like as shelter for well intentioned hopeless traveler -generally fond of well intentioned morons -also fond of artists and poets that make beautiful things about plants -has dark earthy skin and thick curly red and orange hair -and SO many freckles, on her face and body -they may or may not be seeds that make beautiful plants and trees that can never die -she's pretty sure Magryn made those stories up, but it's cute -will always have flowers braided in her hair -sometimes she uses those to make very special plants and trees -has amber eyes that go light when it's sunny and darker when it's rainy, very dark when it's snowing -her clothes look a lot like plants, sleeveless green tunic/dress that falls to her knees that has flowers growing on it -the flowers always change colors to fit her moods -also has vines going down her arms and legs, may grow thorns when she's angry -is tall and big, looks very soft and comfy, also very strong, big muscles -does not pick fights unprovoked but will end them -only metal she wears is trinkets Magryn gave her, golden shinies usually -she keeps the one she doesn't use buried under her favourite plants in her blessed spots -had very little in relationships with humans (because she already has a godly girlfriend and that's enough for her) -but likes women better whenever she gets tempted -is very big on symbolism with her gifts, especially flower meanings -makes alcohol from plants growing in her blessed spots, very strong magic alcohol, can get even gods drunk -will give it to Magryn and watch the chaos unfold, makes sure it's harmless chaos -is not good alcohol for humans to drink -walks barefoot while in nature but will wear shoes in cities/unnatural ground (asphalt, cement...) -or will have wild grass and flowers break through to walk on -rarely seen in temperate climates during winter except maybe evergreen forests -shows up every where warm all year long -likes to lay down on the tall grass or moss or forest/jungle floor and feel everything around -never sits straight, usually crosslegged or leaning on things, preferably trees -underwater plants are someone else's domain but she likes visiting them too

Things about about them together: -together very long, millennia -sometimes apart for long periods, by human standards -took some of each other’s habits or interests, Magryn is careful about her tricks not harming plants if possible, Ona uses vines to trip annoying people... -look after each other’s chosen humans -their domain/blessed spots have things for the other, Ona has lots of perching trees in hers, Magryn’s castle has plants growing on the walls everywhere -will show each other exciting new things, usually Magryn shows Ona new human inventions, and Ona shows Magryn interesting places her birds can’t get to -very cuddly, braid each other’s hair and stuff -courtship involved lot of gifts they thought the other would like -both go all soft and heart eyed listening to the other about their interest

MCYooSeven thoughts!

Alright so I’m being forced to face the fact that the odds of me actually writing this - as much as i want to - are extremely low considering my lack of energy lately, my kids being sick, me getting sick, busy life, etc, so here are some mcyooseven thoughts I have floating around my noggin today. I’m thinking this will be a two-part post, this first part is mostly YoosungxMC buildup. The second part will focus on them bringing Seven into the fold.

This is pre-game, so Unknown hasn’t hacked and placed MC in the messenger yet. It takes place shortly after Rika disappears, and the “MC” is my OC Summer - a college student at SKY. Summer is there to get her teaching degree and aims to teach ESL someday. :)

They don’t have any of the same classes currently, but Yoosung has seen Summer around because she’s kind of hard to miss. She’s got an undercut that she keeps exposed on the left side, her candy cotton hair kept to her right side by a braid serving as her part. She’s usually seen in black skinny jeans and some sort of band t-shirt, sporting a leather jacket covered in patches and pins on the cooler days. She’s got a hoop in her nose and a star on her lip, her messy makeup somehow working with the ‘I just rolled out of bed’ vibe she has going. She’s also only 4’9”.

But since he keeps to himself mostly, she hasn’t really noticed him.

However. She is a huge video game fanatic and plays LOLOL in her free time - which isn’t much, because she works part-time in a cafe and actually focuses on her school work. Still, against all odds, she landed herself in the ShootingStar server and would be remiss if she didn’t know who SupermanYoosung is. While she’s not #2, she proudly holds her mantel as #10 because it’s hard to keep her life in check and that position, so anyone who has something to say can eat her entire ass.

Anyway. That’s that. Onward.

It’s a particularly bad day for Yoosung, but he’s at school. Well… for the last half of the day, at least. It’s rainy and gloomy and he’s stuck in his dark, moody thoughts as he’s rushing from one class to the next, not paying any attention to where he’s going until he slams into something. Staggering back, he’s horrified to find Summer on the ground, half-drank iced mocha covering her clothes and her umbrella crumpled beneath her. He barely manages to stutter through an apology before she stops him, holding up her hand and standing. She insists it isn’t a big deal - can’t bring herself to be angry at this blushing, obviously upset man - and makes a wry joke about needing a shower anyway. He ends up insisting she take his umbrella, saying she could return it some other day. When he says his name, she raises an eyebrow and says with a smirk, “Thanks, Star Prince,” before trudging onward. Yoosung’s left in shock; no one's ever called him that before.

Later that night, he’s telling everyone who will listen about the girl with the rainbow hair.

A few days later, Summer manages to track him down to return to umbrella. He’s spent this time amping himself up, trying to work up the courage to ask her out. (Of course a girl as cool as her would never like a guy as lame as him, but he can try). He’s sweating and nervous and his face is all the wrong colors as he tries to mumble an invitation, but again, she cuts him off - this time with a chuckle. He’s so cute, she can’t say no to an innocent boyo who’s trying so hard. She gives him a day (Saturday) and a time (3pm) to meet at a cafe she frequents (not her workplace), scribbling her phone number on a very shocked Yoosung’s hand before walking away with a “Later, Star Prince.”

A date. He’s got a date! He spends the night gushing about it, missing all of the subtle signs indicating Seven’s sadness.

The day comes, the date goes pretty well. Summer spends it teasing him kindly, enjoying how easy he is to fluster. But she’s taken by how undeniably sweet he is, and fascinated by the shine in those galaxy eyes when he’s excited. There’s something blocking the starlight within him, keeping him from lighting up the world. She’s sure it has something to do with that deep sadness she saw in him that first day.

He’s totally smitten, and they agree to another date. And another. And another. Soon, Yoosung can brag that he has a girlfriend and she’s happily keeping him under her arm, wanting to both protect him and help him grow. They’re opposites but in the best ways.

Their first kiss happens on the third date. They’re walking in the park at night after catching a movie. Yoosung stops to watch the stars and Summer’s taken by the look on his face; hopeful, longing, and so, so beautiful. When he notices her staring, he flushed a lovely red and she grins, grabbing his shirt and yanking him down to press their lips together. It’s everything he always dreamed of and nothing like he imagined; soft but insistent, sending fireworks shooting through him and when they part, he has the goofiest grin on his face.

For a while, he asks permission before kissing her and she just rolls her eyes, teasing him but always saying yes. She jokes, but it’s actually really nice to be treated like a human for once.

They take things decently slow, Summer content with making out without expectations and Yoosung happy with how things are. He’s scared to move too fast and ruin things, his inexperience a bane in his mind. She’s always there to coach him, to help when needed. But she’s the first to make a move sexually after a particularly intense make-out session that has them grinding. He stops the kiss and holds her in place, trying to hide under his hair because he’s embarrassed. It doesn’t take much for her to figure out he was close to orgasming, and so she goes into full-out tease mode:

“Do you want to come?”

A nod.

“Can you tell me what you want?”

He tries, but words are hard when both your face and crotch are on fire.

She’s experimented a bit with praise already and has found how susceptible he is, so she decides to try something.

“You’ve been such a good boy for me. You deserve a reward. Do you want me to reward you?”

Another nod.

She starts kissing his neck, fingers under his shirt. “Tell me if it’s too much, okay?”

It isn’t, and soon enough her Star Prince is coming apart in her mouth. Once he recovers, he insists on returning the favor and she ends up riding his fingers, gently coaching him through where to touch and how.

He’s a quick learner, she finds.

Six months into their relationship finds him at the door to her apartment. It’s maybe a week after he lavished her in the most ridiculous amount of gifts for dating for half a year, but of course, Summer soaked up the attention.

Today, though, something is wrong. She can tell the moment she opens the door, hair mussed from sleep and in a tight tank top and sweats. His shoulders are slumped more than usual, his eyes rimmed with red and lacking any life. She ushers him in, worried, and sits him on the couch, tucked in a blanket and with hot chocolate. She sucks at comfort, always has, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try.

It’s Rika’s birthday.

Yoosung’s mentioned her, of course, spoke about her as someone he admired, even mentioned her death. But he’s never dove fully into the subject, always too scared that showing that side of himself would send Summer running. But today he can’t, can’t hide it, can’t be alone. And so he spills. All of his worries, paranoias, anger. She lets him talk until the words are gone, then holds him when he cries. Hushes him when he apologizes. But it isn’t until he make an offhanded comment about how “he’s just being dramatic, that’s what his friends tell him” that she gets angry. Very quickly the entire atmosphere of the room changes and she’s facing him, cheeks cupped in her hands as she tells him that every single thought he has in valid. These feelings? Valid. The anger toward V? Valid. His suspicions that Rika isn’t really dead? Valid. Whether or not he’s right doesn’t change the validity of how he’s feeling, because he’s feeling it and he’s allowed to feel things. She’s ranting and raving and going on about how amazing of a man he is and that these “friends” aren’t really friends if they’re so unsupportive, not even noticing how his facial expression shifts from surprise to shock to utter adoration, so caught up in making him realize that it’s okay to feel like this sometimes. Grief is different for everyone, anyway, and who has the right to tell him he’s grieving wrong if what he’s doing isn’t hurting anyone? (Well, technically, the video game habit hurts himself but he’s been studying more, since he can use it as an excuse to hang out with her)

Which is why it’s a surprise when he kisses her in the middle of a sentence, hard, his arms wrapping around her to pull her into his lap. He’s filled with grief and sadness but also love and a feeling of acceptance - something he hasn’t felt in a long, long time. The combination is making everything else feel so much more intense and he can’t find the words to tell her how much he appreciates everything she’s done and said for him, so he chooses to let the kiss do the talking.

Passionate, longing, and mildly desperate, the kiss hits Summer like a brick. The longer it goes on, the more those hands roam and she finds herself wanting, but she refuses to take advantage of him. So she pulls back several times to make him pause, barely able to hold it together at the way he looks at her - equal parts desire and love - but asking him if he’s sure this is what he wants. And each time she’s met with a smile way too soft for how charged the air is between them, a gravelly voice somehow still managing to sound utterly lovestruck as he tells her he’s never wanted anything more than to show her how much he loves her.

And for the first time in her life, she makes love instead of just being fucked. It’s every bit as amazing - if not more - and she could just melt under him with how he treats her like a goddess.

Fast forward a few weeks. Yoosung hasn’t forgotten the remark she made about his friends and decides he wants her and Seven to meet. Yeah, he’s a bit of an ass sometimes but he cares about him, right? And besides his parents and sister, Seven is the most important person in his life. So he manages to talk Seven into letting both of them come over. Seven’s… surprisingly hard to convince, a plethora of excuses flung out about why he can’t (and shouldn’t) hang out with them together, each one tough to fight but Yoosung manages. It’s weird that Seven’s so adamantly against it, but Yoosung figures maybe he’s just a bit busier than normal. They won’t take much of his time.

Summer isn’t thrilled, either, still holding the lack of support against this “friend.” But. She’ll give him a chance.
