#but seriously.... you don't go from a relationship like the one she had with lincoln

Seasons 5-7 is filled with death fakeouts, itâs not even a joke. Starting with Beth (obviously) and her CURRENT missing body like seriously, how quiet can TPTB possibly get about a simple one sentence explanation of where the Beth is right after Coda? Itâs really not hard at all unless thereâs something else into coming play/fruition so that could be considered âspoilersâ I guess?? Anyways, thereâs Glennâs short fakeout death, Heathâs (when Tara mistakened a walker as him after leaving Oceanside), and Rick in Richonneâs âSay Yesâ episode; remember that CGI deer at an amusement park? Rick even had a second fakeout death when he exploded the bridge. Would that even be considered a fakeout death despite us the audience already know that heâs still alive in the flesh but the characters doesnât?
Totally agree. I've always said that a few firm and well-placed words from the writers could have shut TD down before it ever really got started. One of the main reasons we've flourished is specifically because they refuse to categorically deny it. Sure, they say a few things here and there that SOUND like they're denying it, but each time you really think about how they worded their answers, things become even more suspicious.
As to the question of Rick, yes and know. I've always counted it a death fake out, because the characters were faked out by it. We've seen fakeouts where the characters weren't aware, but the audience was, and ones where neither the audience nor the charactes were aware. So, Rick's is just one of many. But it's one that was planned and foreshadowed long in advance, so I usually count it among the big death fake outs.
But you make a good point to question it because when Norman hints that characters we haven't seen in a long time will be returning in the spinoff, I really don't think they're talking about Rick. I think he got permission to say that because they know everyone will assume it's Rick, so they're pretty safe. And sure, Andy Lincoln could do a cameo or something. But as you say, the audience already knows he's alive, and Rick and Michonne already have their own spinoff, so why go about it in this way? It doesn't make any logical sense.
People have also suggested he might mean Heath or Jadis. I don't think Jadis really qualifies here, because she was in World Beyond, and the audience knows about her. She "returned" already in one of the other spinoffs. Heath, sure. He, at least, hasn't been seen in many seasons and there might be a collective audience gasp when he shows up. But at the same time, he was such a minor character, and there was zero relationship between him and Daryl. So, I kind of don't see his return meriting Norman hinting at it this way.
Anyway, I'm totally off on a tangent now. As with all things TWD, we'll just have to wait and see what the spinoff brings us. Thanks Nonny! Xoxo! âïžđ

sharing a short dousy video edit i made.
i don't know why but i really like this and thought i'd share it on here too.
should i rant about what goes in my head while making this video? no. will i? yes.
basically the song is beginning middle end by leah nobel from to all the boys i've loved before part 3. this song is basically about two people falling in love from the early years of their lives. since lara jean and peter met when they were kids. but then started (fake) dating in high school and their adventure together started right then and there. anyway, watch the movies if you haven't already. this song fits lara jean and peter so well (i don't know if it was written specifically for them or not).
but daisy and sousa didnt meet when they were kids because of one obvious reason: when daisy was a kid, sousa's dead; and when sousa was a kid, daisy hadn't been born yet. they weren't supposed to meet. so their journey started off separately.
daisy's beginning in shield was rocky, to say the least. but she found a home there with coulson, fitzsimmons and may (i'll get to ward) in season 1. they bonded quite quickly, mainly daisy skye and coulson. i think it shifts when she got shot by ian quinn. everyone in the team, especially ward was terrified and angry at the situation. now. she had a relationship with miles early on in the season, which was broken off. but within the context of the song, her beginning was ward. he was her s.o. she was falling for him when she uncovered that he's hydra. add that trauma to the ones she already had prior to shield. no wonder she has trust issues.
her middle was her powers. even though the story started early in the series, it's still the middle. because she struggled with her powers throughout seasons 2 - 5. the middle would always be the bulk of it all. it's where everything happens. it's the crux of a character, of a person. it's where daisy became daisy. now, in the middle of her middle (pun very much intended), was lincoln. the first inhuman who helped her and understood her. i'm sure they've got their own problems and everything, but it doesn't change the fact that he was someone who knew what she's going through. none of her found family could help her the way he could. this is where i think it gets interesting. seasons 2 - 5, where i said was her middle, and basically the peak/climax of daisy as a character, she was falling for and fell for lincoln. it was known that daisy was still in love with lincoln in season 5. possibly around 2 years after he died. but then we found out that she had moved on from lincoln in the beginning of season 6.
season 6 and 7 is the end of her journey with the team. they're still a family. just a family who occassionally see each other. now in season 6, like i mentioned previously, it was acknowledged that daisy had moved on. the past will always be with her, no doubt. the trauma would stick. hopefully just bits and pieces. but it would still be there until she either had alzheimer's, dementia, any other retrograde amnesia injuries or diseases, or the day she died. she would never forget lincoln or ward, heck even miles. she won't forget her past. unless it was taken away from her. so, back to the topic at hand, she wanted her own fitz. she had grown from the woman she was in the beginning, she had grown from the woman and superhero that she was in the middle. she knows who she is now. with the people she worked with. and the people she calls her family. and also with anyone. daisy's ending was perfect (to me at least). she wasn't looking for love right then and there. she was burnt one too many times. but she wanted that kind of love and support. the love and support that fitz and simmons have for each other. something that daisy lacked all her life. she ended up with someone who gave her what she wanted. and what she needed.
with sousa, it's a little different. because we didn't get to see much of his background and family life. we didn't get to know what his life was like during the war and before the war. we begin to see him in the ssr. we all knew, literally everyone knew, even the characters knew that sousa's practically in love with peggy. except for maybe peggy herself. but i'm sure she had an inkling. she definitely had an inkling. but then things go on and he became chief of the west coast office and he was in los angeles while peggy was in new york. he moved on (or so we thought). he started dating violet and was ready to marry her. he told her he loved her. and he did. it's just that he was also in love with peggy. still. and violet saw that. it's as clear as day. and they broke it off.
we didn't get to see much of sousa's middle. mainly because ac wasn't renewed for a third season. which was such a waste because it ended with so many things left unanswered. but we know that between 1947 - 1955, peggy and sousa broke up. we have no idea why. we don't know if steve was back. nada. all we know is that they broke up. when did they break up? again. no idea. but we know that peggy means a lot to sousa. she's like (sorta; i don't like making comparisons but anyway) sousa's lincoln in a way (i'm not saying that they're the exact replica. daisy/lincoln and peggy/sousa are quite different. but they do have similarities. those pairings are the kind where they want to be together forever but knew that it wouldn't work; my interpretation). she didn't die, we know that. but she's sort of the one that got away. my guess is that it's because shield and the world was more important than each other. which wasn't dissimilar to daisy and lincoln's situation. so, yes. peggy's sousa's middle. she influenced him a lot. and he found himself amidst ssr and shield (just like daisy did).
sousa's end was again, perfect. he went to the future. got to see what the organisation he helped build came to be. he went on an adventure to explore space. which he would geek out over. instead of dying, he got to live. with the love of his (new) life. he may be a man out of time, but with daisy and their ragtag family, he is right where he belongs.
daisy and sousa began with "who the hell are you" and ended with "it's beautiful" (just putting this here because i love that fact).
so. they started pretty quickly, didn't they? 4 episodes in and sousa fell in love with daisy. 7 episodes in and daisy fell in love with sousa. though i doubt that they thought they're in love. but they're falling. or walking towards it. 7x03 was when they met. it's where it all began. in area 51 of all places (foreshadow much?). but what's even more interesting is that technically, they began twice. from daisy's perspective, they met in 6x13 (which plenty of people had pointed out; but @agents-of-fangirling was the most recent). even though they didn't actually meet because sousa was wearing that blue (seriously his colour really is blue) hazmat suit and daisy was disoriented (may dying and all that jazz). but from sousa's perspective, they met in 7x03. where they actually made eye contact and conversed. how many couples can say that the when of their first encounter was debatable?
now. their middle, in the video edit, i used the scene from 7x10. because i think that's a pretty good middle. they had their first first kiss. sousa had no idea that happened. yet, there he was, wanting to help. just like his time-loop self. he extended a hand and she accepted. she accepted help. do you know how much of a development that was??? because i think that it's a huge character development (i still haven't rewatched so don't take my word for it). i think that's a good depiction of their middle. oh yeah. before i forgot. they also had two first kisses. and again, i say, how many couples can say that they had two first kiss? figured i'd choose the scene in the middle of those first kisses (pun intended lmao).
sidenote: did y'all see the devastation in her eyes when sousa volunteered to stay in the 80s? or how her eyes went wide and she started to panic when he was injected in the time loops? sousa's a man of action. and when he says something, he means it. so, his constant concern over daisy and him wanting to help in any way he can, it's his love language.
and then we have their ending. the perfect end to an imperfect couple (because nobody's perfect *cue hannah montana*). daisy got sousa a typewriter. because he's from the 50s. since when did daisy buy gifts for her boyfriends/partners/lovers? and they watched e.t. together? that's normal couple things. even though they are far from normal. but they get to experience it all together. daisy didn't get to in the past. none that we know of anyway. and now she does. also, that smile when she talks about him. that fond smile that grazed her lips at the thought of him. i've never seen her smile like that before (none that i remember; and if she did, well then i'm so so happy for her). she looks happy. serene. and her saying "he's a dork" twice in the season just makes my heart burst with happiness for them.
sidenote: my headcannon is that "he's a dork" is code for "i love him too much to explain it in words."
i'd like to believe that even though it has ended, their story has just begun. they're going through their middle right now. and i hope that they won't end. in other words, their end was not an ending. it was a beginning of a new life.
as daisy said, "we're loving the journey together." keyword: journey. it's a long road up ahead. with countless of challenges and obstacles in the way. but in the end, all that matters is that they face it together.
that's it. thanks for coming to my ted talk (for those who actually read it all the way through, i love you).

Dark Deity Pre-Release Character Opinions
This isn't actually a tier list, but someone helpfully created a template for this game and it's as good a way as any to do a little visual showcase for this cast. Characters are listed by their class sets, which are fixed but offer a nice variety in terms of promotion options. My opinions on each are as follows, from left to right in each row. Most characters have introductory profiles written up on the DD subreddit, if you'd like to check them out yourself.
Warriors
Alexa
You know those buff female blacksmiths in Echoes and Three Houses that some people wish were playable characters? That's pretty much Alexa. Can't say I'm too hyped about her myself, but warrior + tomboyish female character will do that for me...or not do it, I suppose.
Benji
Seems to have been written to become a meme, and I still can't decide whether that's clever or stupid. Kind of like Raphael only with a bigger emphasis on training than on eating, and with brotherly devotion replaced with brotherly angst that might theoretically go somewhere if the character isn't reduced to being a goofy joke all the time.
Fenton
Doesn't have a character profile, so as far as I know he's just a generic dwarf because DD swaps out its inspiration's loli dragons and other vaguely fetishistic shapeshifters for the two most cliché non-human races in Western fantasy. I wonder whether his VA will voice him with a Scottish accent, to go all in on the (ironic?) laziness. There are a handful of elves in the playable cast, but Fenton is the only dwarf so for better or worse he's representing.
Helena
She's the embodiment of the FE exotic swordswoman archetype, but curiously DD seems to have turned that broad ethnic brush inward. Helena's last name is apparently a Japanese verb, her art shows her with a spear (as in the association of the naginata with women), and she studied and trained in a monastery that seems to blend elements of Buddhism and Shintoism. Not sure how all that fits into the larger setting yet, but at this point she's still got more background development than Petra.
Irving
Our Hero, the one front and center on the cover art. He sounds a bit on the blander side as far as lords or lord equivalents go, with his most promising hook for me being his established friendship with Garrick (see the ranger section). At best I can hope for a bit of a romantic friendship dynamic, although they sound a bit rougher overall as they're military academy schoolmates I wonder why DD went with that instead of lordlings of different territories.
Rogues
Brooke
Looks like Camilla; has a backstory like Niles. Cleavage aside though the sexual element of both is toned down here, and there might be some sapphic bodyguard shenanigans to be had as her current employers are a pair of highborn sisters further down this list.
Cia
For some reason she reminds me of Tressa from Octopath Traveler, only bustier and a bartender rather than a merchant. She's still just a small town girl with big city dreams, and this being a tactical war game following those dreams will inevitably involve stabbing people.
Corvan
Hard to judge him at the moment, as his profile was only the second written and so isn't terribly detailed. He's a moon elf with scholarly interests, apparently. Still, as of right now he's the only rogue who doesn't slot loosely into either a ninja/assassin or pirate aesthetic, so that's kind of neat. Also, he's one of several characters to have FEH-esque beach fanart made of them already, so clearly someone's into elf twinks.
Ford
A former officer at the military academy Irving attends and a smuggler who dotes on his niece, Ford has major dad energy. Per developer reveals he's also bi, and as I mentioned before I'm totally fine with that. More bear sex, please - but what guy in this cast would hop in the sack with Ford? Only time will tell. His personal skill makes him extra dodgy, which combined with the mug of booze in his art makes me think of WoW brewmasters who dodge-tank through the power of being wasted.
Wren
Like Brooke, he's an assassin from a foreign nation - in his case the same one as Helena so presumably he's a not!Japanese ninja. I'm not really feeling him at the moment. What is it about Hao'Fen (the city/territory he and Helena come from) and massive families? That comes up in both their backstories.
Rangers
Caius
I feel like this is the third or fourth character to grow up in some slum or other; at least they've all been in different towns so far. The relative rarity of noble characters is certainly different from FE, but it reduces the political stakes which leaves me wondering a bit about the story. Anyway, Caius is a small town desert hunter who learned how to make arrows out of animal bones. How aerodynamic is bone, I wonder?
Garrick
Irving's BFF and seemingly the Hector to Irving's Eliwood, only with more flirting (his intro doesn't specify that Garrick is flirting with women, but I'm not going so far as to say that indicates anything). He's the academy headmaster's son, with a strained relationship with his father for some of that hotheaded lead tension. Notably, his VA is the one I'm most familiar with in this cast, as he's the voice of Revali from Breath of the Wild as well as love interests in two different erotic gay dating sims I've played. In other words, I know what this guy sounds like making awkwardly simulated sex noises...and I have no idea what to do with that information.
Maeve
She's a half-elf with a very storied background, so much so that it's all rather hard to follow her exploits when little of what's being described has been fully revealed yet. I'm expecting her to be a mid/lategame recruit, unless she's dropped in early on to reveal that (sun) elves exist or something.
Rose
Imagine if Bernadetta were a commoner, although we can only hope they'll be less screaming. Alternatively, Neimi without an obvious boyfriend. She won the beach contest so now she has official swimsuit art, which I guess makes her a top-tier waifu in the eyes of players who care about such things.
Sophia
A ranger in the "has animal companions" sense, although whether that will come into play mechanically aside from her personal skill - Butter the ferret can attack with her! - remains to be seen. Her preference for the company of animals is explained by a lack of social graces, so prepare for klutz-related humor. Of note to those interested in F/F is that her introduction specifically brings up her connection with Sloane (see the mage section) and how close the two of them are.
Clerics
Faust
Doesn't have a profile yet, so not much to go off other than his decidedly unhinged look. The cleric class set does feature some darker-flavored options, so presumably he's more naturally aligned with those. His VA was announced to be the YouTuber behind So This is Basically Fire Emblem and other similar videos, so I'm picturing a kooky and somewhat demented Henry type.
Lincoln
Also lacks a profile at time of writing...clerics get so little love. The Discord has identified him a bland blond paladin sort, but as we know from the likes of Perceval and especially Dimitri that doesn't necessarily mean he'll be boring (or not gay).
Maren
The soft-spoken healer type, and also a childhood friend of Garrick although her intro sibling-zones him but then this game is inspired by FE so who knows if that'll stick. She may have some interesting thoughts on the theology of the setting, as there seem to be several faiths and she's said to have a complicated relationship with her own. I will be utterly shocked if she's not either Irving or Garrick's eventual love interest.
Samara
One of two princesses of the country of Aramor, which appears to be loosely inspired by the Middle East. Heaven help us if the Khalidstans ever get wind of this game. Unfortunately aside from her bond with her older sister (in the mage section) and the knowledge that Brooke has been hired as their bodyguard there's not much to Samara at the moment. Hopefully the clerics all do some comparative theology in their bond conversations, and this isn't like Sacred Stones where none of the clergy characters from different countries ever compare notes. The succession crisis involving Samara and her sister vs. their less-loved cousin the king's son might be a major plot hook? It's still too early to tell.
Vesta
Much like Maeve her backstory has entirely too much going on to really follow at the moment. Basically she's a human who grew up in a sun elf city because Reasons (seriously, I don't know what they are) and was called to a clerical vocation and also something about taking a journey. Has an unfortunate case of silly boob armor, which unlike a certain other character probably won't be rectified this close to release.
Mages
Alden
Maren's precocious younger brother, also basically Ricken up to and including the comically oversized hat. As a unit he follows the tradition of Donnel, Mozu, and Cyril of having a personal skill that buffs his stat gains, so it's safe to say he's a growth unit. At least he'll probably join early.
Liberty
Comes with dead brother angst and a connection to the "aspects" system that will hopefully make more sense once I've played the game and know how it functions both mechanically and from a storytelling perspective. Otherwise she looks to be a busty older - as in, not a teenage - mage in the vein of Calill.
Monroe
Got the first ever character profile, so it's really short. He's the son of a duke and sounds like a bit of a snob, albeit one that can make explosions happen to back up his haughtiness. He's got some scarring around his eye that surely must come with a story. Someone also made featured fanart of him in Heroes summer banner style, so I guess he's got somebody horny already.
Sara
Samara's half-sister, with comparable fantasy Middle Eastern flavoring. Has an interest in discovering magical artifacts and being a just ruler in the event she winds up on the throne (so, almost definitely), and she and Samara travel around with the assassin Brooke as their bodyguard. There's maybe some lesbian possibilities there? Either way, Sara has enough development where I could see her as a major supporting character.
Sloane
Comes with a genuinely fascinating backstory involving manipulative double-crossing parents, an education in the cruelties and deceptions of social life (reflected in her personal skill), and disinheritance - and yet it's all likely to be overshadowed because she may go down as DD's equivalent to Fates's face-touching. Her initial art is even more revealing than Camilla's, and while the developers later gave her a more modest redesign after negative feedback I get the feeling that this controversy may live on. Her introduction mentions her hunting for both heirs and heiresses and she's now been linked to Sophia, so safe to say she's another confirmed bi character.
Adepts
While the other class sets are standard fantasy fare adepts require a bit more explanation. They have innate magical abilities and appear to be feared and distrusted most places in the setting. Functionally they remind me of adepts from the Golden Sun series, if anyone is familiar with those games. The classes in the adept group tend more toward physical/magical hybridization than those of other sets, so that will probably be their mechanical niche. Oh, and their default weapon type is lances, which is a plus in my book.
Aurima
Along with Caius and the royal sisters, he's another one from the desert nation of Aramor. An arena fighter who got touched by a god in what I assume was a non-sexual way and came out of it with a new appearance and adept powers. Also, he's confirmed to be over 40 - how often do you see that in games like this?
Bianca
Looks like a more carefree Mathilda from Echoes. She's a ranking officer in the Delian army which sounds like it'd sit uneasily with her adept powers. Her profile describes Lincoln as her close friend, which is still about the most we know about him at this point.
Elias
This guy's writing plays more into the fairly standard coding that comes with adept powers, as we know they manifested shortly before he was going to confess his feelings to a male paramour and afterwards he was forced to flee his homeland and wander the world. He also spent time among dwarves, so insert short bear jokes here? In the present he's attached to Cia in what seems to be a platonic way; maybe she's a fruit fly, or maybe she just likes having a friend who can light drunken assholes on fire? Elias is definitely into guys, but I would still be a little surprised if he turned out to be totally gay as that's such a rarity in these sorts of things.
Iris
Oof, another lengthy and rough backstory. Iris had better parents than Sloane, but she also had to deal with permanent facial scarring (hence the mask) after a bandit kidnapping and the stigma of manifesting as an adept pretty much eliminating the prospects of her making a good political marriage. Also, she and Elias both come from Neullais, which is prominently featured on the continental map on the DD subreddit but doesn't seem to come up all too often in backstories. I think it's a not!France? Hard to tell.
Thae'lanel
A World of Warcraft blood elf, flowing anime hair and apostrophe'd name and all. I like WoW so that's not terribly grating, but as he has no profile yet there's little else I can say. Thae'lanel is mentioned in Maeve's introduction as a member of a sun elf group called the Exiled, which I'm guessing is tied to his adept status in some way. He and Maeve form yet another adventurer/bodyguard duo.

Grey's Anatomy: Hotter Than Hell (18x03)
Well... awww. That was kind of adorable.
Cons:
There was a moment when Link and Teddy were together and Link was lamenting all this bullshit with Amelia, and Teddy was like "trust me, I've been there" and like... bitch, what?!?! Sorry, but Teddy cheated on Owen, meanwhile Link has done nothing wrong and also Amelia was the one who was manipulative and difficult in their relationship. Not to be an Atticus Lincoln stan or anything, but Teddy, these two things are not the same. Jeez.
I found Hayes' subplot about his kid not talking to him... well, it's not that it's a problem in and of itself, but I found it to be a little one dimensional. See, there's a sixteen year old girl who ran off to meet an internet friend and got injured, and she refuses to call her parents. The guy she's with says she really hates them. Now, I know teenage angst is a thing, but if you're that seriously injured and in that much pain, surely you'd still want your parents with you. Unless, of course, your parents are seriously bad news: neglectful or abusive or in some way otherwise unsuited to parent you. The whole time this subplot was going on, I expected there to be a reveal/twist that the patient had good reason for wanting to avoid her parents, and that Hayes was allowing his own situation to cloud his judgment. But... nope! I don't know, maybe I'm being overly sensitive to this, but I feel as if this whole idea lacked nuance.
I wish I felt differently, but honestly I found the gimmick of the younger doctors gossiping about Addison and what her past was with Meredith kind of sloppy and lame. It's not as if it was a secret that Addison and Derek were once married, or that later Meredith and Derek were married. I get not knowing about your boss's personal lives, but it was weird that they knew so much and cared so much about the drama without actually having any of the correct details.
Pros:
While I'm still annoyed about Link and Amelia, the seem to be setting up a romantic potential between Amelia and the Minnesota doctor that she talked to briefly online. I wouldn't be mad about it, honestly, especially if maybe Amelia is exiting the show and that's why they needed to extricate her from Link? I don't know. We'll see where it goes, but I'm keeping my eye on these developments.
Still a fan of Winston, I love how hard he fights for his patients, and I loved that Owen and Ben both got in on the action. I think there might be consequences for this, and I'd be curious for the subplot to continue a bit. It's really working for me in terms of giving Winston time to shine so we get to know him on his own terms.
And in main plot news... Addison Montgomery! Honestly, it was a delight to see her and I thought she was a wonderful breath of fresh air the whole dang time she was on screen. Other characters in the story, Amelia included, tried to set up this rivalry or awkwardness between Meredith and Addison that just honestly... wasn't there? I mean, of course there's a weighty history between them, but Derek is dead, people! I loved their badass surgery, the way they worked together on it, and then Addison breaking down in the aftermath, grieving for the absence of someone who had meant so much to her.
I got a little weepy when Addison met Meredith and Derek's kids. I loved the way they asked her if she was a friend of their dad's. I'm just honestly happy they get to have this, get to meet Derek's first wife, a person who, despite everything, is a really kind and amazing woman who they are lucky to know. It was fun to have this sort of subverted expectation, all the buildup to potential drama, and instead it's two women who are too old and too smart and too busy to revert back into earlier life drama, and instead treat each other with respect and consideration. I love later-seasons Meredith Grey, I love that she has her shit together, to be quite honest!
Schmitt continues to be on the rise, getting paired with Addison during this groundbreaking surgery. Poor Jo is on the outside looking in, but I'm excited to see her getting excited about surgeries and work again. I also love seeing Richard so pumped about teaching the residents. This was a great place to put him in the show these days, as they needed a reason to keep him included and involved in the hospital while explaining his presence after a time of life when he should be retired.
This was my favorite of the first three episodes, I loved seeing Addison, I loved the focus on the medicine but also on the deep emotional weight of Derek's loss, still impacting these people all these years later. If we could just stay away from Teddy, and get the heck over this whole Link and Amelia drama, that would be great!

DC Girls x Reader- Christmas time! (2/3)
DC Comics (Comics, not the movies)
A/N: This is a small one-shot collection, with the theme being the holidays!
I donât own any of the images, theyâre just so you can identify the characters easier
CHARACTERS:
-HARLEY QUINN AND POISON IVY
- KILLER FROST/ LOUISE LINCOLN
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Harley and Ivy
If there was one thing you swore to do was protect Gotham City, even on nights like this one, where most spend their time with their loved ones and get together to eat and party
But the moment you walked into the door, the guys at the GCPD stopped you on your tracks, all insisted that you take the day off, especially since you had covered for a few of them in the past. Normally, you wouldn't agree to it, but when the commissioner himself told you to go home, there was not much to do about it
You got a call from Harley inviting you to Pamela's apartment not so far away from yours. She said she wanted you all to get together for the holidays
It would have come as a surprise if she hadn't talked about it for weeks, even arranging a Christmas exchange between the three of you
And so, with your wrapped gift on hand and a couple of drinks, you walked to the building Pamela lived in. It wasn't hard to spot, it had a greenhouse on the roof
You got to the floor she lived in and knocked on the door, all the noise suddenly coming to an end when you did
Then, Harley herself opened the door, her eyes going wide when she saw you
"Y/N!!"
Was all she said before launching herself at you and trying to start a make-out session, but a vine wrapped around her leg and forced her down. Honestly, the sight was kinda funny
From across the room, Pamela stood there with a smirk and her palm raised to control the vine, making it drag Harley to her
It had quite a few plants, but not too many either. There were also festive lights hung across the walls, probably Harley's idea
It was cozy, to say the least
"Now now, give them some space"
Harley pouted, making you chuckle. This same sound made the redhead look at you with a smirk
"And you, you're here early. Not that I'm complaining"
"Yeah, we thought you'd be working your ass off 'till noon!"
Harley added, still on the floor and you placed the bottles you brought along in the counter nearby
"Well, pretty much the entire police force told me to take the day off so...here I am! Hope it's alright with you girls"
"Are you kiddin'? It's even better!"
The clown girl finally got up, sporting a huge grin as she did. Ivy herself walked closer to you as well
"Yeah, it was about time they recognized what you do for the city"
She then placed a hand on your shoulder and slid it to your cheek, her eyes filled with worry too
"I still don't know why you waste yourself in that place"
With a sympathetic smile, you put your hand on hers and reassured her with your voice
"Someone has to keep the people safe. You know, when the bats aren't around, they deserve some happiness too, you know"
The redhead was about to say something when your mutual lover came through talking from the kitchen
"That's sweet and all, but tonight you ain't a cop, sweetie"
Then she showed up with glasses filled with some of the wine you brought, raising them as if they were an award
"You're Y/N, the sweetest guy/gal in town, and who deserves a drink more than anyone else in here!"
Before any more of the liquid spilled into the floor, Pamela's vines snatched the drinks away and placed them back on the kitchen counter
"While I agree with you, Harls, it's way to early to get wasted. Don't you want to be sober for the exchange?"
Harley began arguing with Pamela about it and all you could do was stand there and smile. Their dynamic was so cute, it was so easy to forget their background sometimes
"Y/N, tell Red I can handle it!" Harley's voice stopped your train of thought with the attitude of a child
"Pam's right, Harley. There's still a long night ahead of us"
And you weren't wrong about it. The dinner was just the beginning, there was a bit of a dance party and of course, the gift exchange
Pamela bought you a package containing all the seasons of your favorite series, suggesting that you watch it together some time
You gave Harley a couple of new roller skates, she wouldn't shut up about how amazing they were and she also wouldn't let go of you until her time was up to bring her gift
It was a plant that had traveled all the way from Asia and into Ivy's arms. You had never seen the girl happier for a gift before
Harley suggested that you should start watching your newly acquired series, but after a couple of episodes, she fell asleep on your lap...and Pamela's
Maybe if you hadn't been stroking her hair she wouldn't have fallen asleep so early, but it didn't matter. The redhead asked you if she could talk to you in the balcony, she said it was important
Upon agreeing to talk, Ivy used her vines to gently lift Harley enough for you to stand up from the couch and as the plants took the girl to sleep, you met the retired supervillain at the terrace
It wasn't that cold, but it was certainly more fresh than inside, a bit darker as well
"So, what did you want to talk about?"
"I just wanted some fresh air, to be honest"
You couldn't help but chuckle at this turn of events. Both of you looking over the city from the balcony with a cup of coffee in hand
"Yeah, it's nice to take a break from everything"
She nodded before taking a sip from the cup
"You said it, a hell of a life we got"
As you looked at the city, you were surprised by her scooting closer to you and trying not to blush about it
"But at least we're in good company"
You chuckled while pulling Pamela close to you, making her yelp by this gesture, but she didn't comply either
"Yeah, we are"
Returning the gesture, Pamela held you closer as well, placing the cups of coffee away before doing so
As for the embrace itself, it was soft, silent for a good couple minutes until you heard her giggling
"You know, I didn't notice until now, but Harley placed some mistletoe here"
She pointed at where the small plant was and smirked at you, making you laugh in the process. It was honestly hard to believe it wasn't Pamela's idea
"You got to respect the tradition"
With your hands on her hips and with hers around your neck, you proceeded to do the only logical thing when faced in this situation. Her lips were so soft, it was addicting
...or at least it would have been if a certain someone hadn't shouted from across the apartment
"IT WORKED!!!"
Harley was peeping just around the corner of the room, and her child-like excitement might have come as annoying, but all you could do was laugh about it
You knew that
Pamela did too
And so did Harley herself, but she was the first one to stop laughing to look directly at you
"...but seriously, I want one too"
Louise Lincoln/ Killer Frost
Arkham Asylum was many things: the home of madmen, the place with the worst security on the planet, and so on but if there was something it was not, was heartless, and Louise soon discovered that the moment there was a knock on the door to her cell
Soon enough, a guard opened the door as well as a psychiatrist. The noise was loud enough to wake her up and sit down on her bed, growling at the poor souls who dared wake to end her sleep
"Good morning, Louise, I trust you sleep well?" The psychologist asked with a kind tone
"Until you came here, yeah" Her answer was weak, but just because she had just woken up
She yawned as she turned around to face the staff, rubbing her eyes
"What do you want?"
"Well, today's a special day. You'll be allowed a complete meal and two extra hours"
Louise looked at the staff in disbelief. They had hardly ever been that kind to her, and they just come to her saying this out of the blue
Better not to joke about removing her inhibitor collar now
"What's so special about today anyway?"
"Well...It's Christmas"
The girl felt her eyes go wide with the realization of the date. Being a resident in Arkham does take away any real sense of time and while the date was meaningless to her, it still felt like a big revelation
"But before you can go on, there is still the daily check-up with Dr. L/N"
She tried her best not to smile at the mention of that name, barely able to maintain her facade
"Fine, take me to them"
Without further due, the guard escorted them to the next room. Along the way, however, Louise found a wide array of different scenes that honestly, were not something to forget
Some of the walls were decorated with ribbons or lights, some of the staff were using Santa hats and hell, even some of the inmates were acting less creepy than usual
It almost felt...peaceful
"Alright, we're here"
The voice of the guard brought Louise back to reality, standing just outside of the room where her interviews tend to take place.
Upon being asked to enter, she stepped into the place to find out that even you were infected with some of that "holiday spirit", the Santa hat and the red/white cup with hot chocolate gave it away
Regardless, what caught her attention the most, was your smile
"Hello, Louise! How are you today?"
You invited her to take a seat across the table, which she did (but her gaze remained just as confused)
"I'm...fine, thanks for asking"
You gave her a nod whilst opening her file, taking out your pen to start taking some notes as was the standard procedure
"Before we begin, I just want to tell you, merry Christmas, Louise"
While the tone alone was enough to make anyone smile, this wasn't the case with her, not even close
"Yeah...you too"
Picking up with her reaction, you immediately shifted your topic of discussion
"Hmm...rocky relationship with the holiday?
"I'd rather not talk about it if that's okay"
Her eyes moved to the side, looking down in an attempt to hide the memory. While it was a trauma worth exploring, it would have to be another time
She barely had any joy in this place, it wasn't proper to ruin the only day she could be happy by forcing her to say it
"It's alright, Louise. We'll begin with our session so you can leave early"
She nodded and without further due, you began asking questions about her state, some opinions on different topics to understand her current pattern of thought and later compare it to the previous evaluation
It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, if anything her answers seemed to be improving, but ever so slightly. And so, in a matter of minutes, you had written down her answer to the final question
"Alright, thanks for your cooperation"
"Wait, that's it?"
"Yeah, you can enjoy your day now"
Instead of showing relief or anything of the sort, you saw her gaze sadden. This little hint of emotion would not go unnoticed
You stooped storing away your material to look at her and softly ask:
"Is something wrong?"
"Well, it's kinda hard to explain, it even sounds weird..."
A sympathetic smile formed across your face. To be honest, such a thing sounded even insulting considering the kinds of things you saw on a daily basis
"There is no such thing as weird, Louise, you know you can trust me"
"That's the thing. You're the person I've spent most of my time with in this nuthouse and now that I got a day to myself I..."
A deep sigh left her lips when she found herself unable to continue. You, on the other hand, said nothing, giving her a chance to gather her strength but also, to appreciate the fact that she was actually being honest for a change
"Can...can I ask you a favor?"
She looked back up, straight into your eyes for that sentence, her confidence being nowhere near where it was, but none of the rudeness was there either
This was... something else
"Of course, what can I do for you?"
You answered almost out of pure instinct, unsure of whether saying yes was the right thing to do, but you had never seen Louise act like this before. You had to discover the cause
"Listen, can...Can you stay with me, just for today?"
All the intrigue, the curiousness, and even fear disappeared with that single request
No longer did you have a metahuman criminal whose attitude made treatment difficult
Now you had a person as fragile as anyone else and just as alone that, in that moment, was asking for your help
This moment of silence brought doubt into Louise, she quickly tried to look away, only for a hand to rest above hers to catch her attention. When she returned her gaze to you, she saw you smile
Not the professional, polite kind of gesture, but a genuine one
"Sure, I'll stay with you"

Yo in the least weird way possible, did you have an ending planned for winged cupid painted? Or like, any idea what would happen next? I just read it and I'm dying to know but I also am a writer who's in college and know how little time being an adult leaves over, but I loved it! Also it was 4 years ago, and its chill if you don't wanna answer/didn't have a plan/etc but i figured asking couldn't hurt. Regardless, thanks for the amazing content!!
this is a great question and not weird at all
i stopped writing that story a while ago and i do mean to go back and finish it eventually, but iâm not sure exactly when that will be. looking at that doc, it does appear that i have something of an ending written out
so for the fans who want a conclusion and donât want to wait around for another x number of years for me to finally get that story finished, the ending is under the cut:
lots of love
Lexa and Clarke throw the biggest goddamn wedding Octavia has ever seen (because of course they do).
Clarke looks like an angel in white lace, hair flowing in effortless golden ringlets down past her shoulders. She walks down the aisle with tears in her eyes, clutching at her momâs arm, her eyes fixated entirely on the woman at the alter.
âClarkeâs walking down the aisle,â Octavia whispers to Raven under the sound of the processional music. âAnd Lexa just started crying,â she adds after glancing at her friend.
Raven smirks and whispers back, âOf course sheâs crying, sheâs a fucking sap.â
Octavia bites her lip and tries not to laugh, even as she surreptitiously wipes the tears she feels in the corner of her eye. âBabe, Lexa looks like sheâs going to collapse. They canât stop staring at each other. It is both adorable and disgusting.â
Raven leans closer. âWhatâs she wearing?â
Octavia runs her eyes down Lexaâs body once. âTan shirt, rolled up to her elbows. Thin black suspenders, thin black tie, dark pants. Her hair isnât braided, for once; Anya must have done it because it looks awesome.â
Raven whistles lowly. âSo sheâs basically a stud.â
Octavia laughs, âOh totally. If Clarke doesnât jump her as soon as the service is done I will be honestly shocked.â
âFifteen bucks she waits until the reception starts.â
Octavia shoots her a look, eyebrow raised and smirk painted on her face. âOh youâre so on.â
(Raven ends up winning. Though, to be fair, Clarke and Lexa only make it thirty minutes into the reception before they mysteriously slip out a side door, only to reappear red-faced and disheveled a quarter of an hour later. But a win is a win. Octavia grumbles as she presses the money into Ravenâs hand, and Raven laughs and kisses her on the cheek.)
.
.
Their wedding is small and it isnât really much of a wedding at all. Raven wears red, Octavia wears light blue, and they stop by the courthouse one day with Lexa and Clarke as their witnesses and get it done and sign the papers with little fanfare. (Clarke cries but Lexa cries harder.) The only other person there is Bellamy â who, admittedly, has been a little awkward around Raven since the whole⊠well, everything. But Octavia loves him and heâs family and Raven doesnât mind Bellamy as much as maybe she should mind him. She actually sort of likes him.
And Raven is thankful for him, no matter how uncomfortable he may feel around her. Because while it is true that their relationship sort of imploded as a direct result of Bellamyâs questioning⊠it was necessary. Because Octavia and Raven couldnât have survived a secret like that if it had continued any longer (they barely survived it as is). So Bellamy kind of accidentally did the best thing possible. Heâs uncomfortable whenever heâs alone in a room with Raven, but heâll get over that eventually.
There isnât much to it; their whole marriage ceremony is done in under an hour. Clarke and Lexa and Raven and Octavia and Bellamy all at the courthouse in front of a judge (who didnât really seem like he wanted very much to be there, but Octavia said he added character to the whole affair, so Raven couldnât begrudge him that â she was the one who insisted on skipping the ceremony, after all).
The five of them stand in one small, cramped office that smells vaguely of dust and Taco Bell and Octavia laughs and Raven falls even more in love and no one else is there because no one else needs to be there. And itâs sort of hilariously terrible, but itâs also perfect. Because sheâs marrying the woman she loves, in front of the only other people she loves, and itâs perfect. And she wouldnât have wanted it any other way.
Octavia tells her mother, though. Sends her a picture even, of the celebration â at a bar (and Raven doesnât usually visit bars but for this one special occasion she does, because she loves Octavia and theyâre married now and she should be able get drunk out in public with her wife if she wants to) â and Raven doesnât even know the picture is being taken, but Octavia describes it to her after.
Theyâre at a table in the corner of the bar, by themselves. Ravenâs head is thrown back mid-laugh, ring glittering elegantly on her finger while Octavia stares at her with unbridled admiration and love â she knows the last bit thanks to Lexaâs teasing voice and even though Octavia blushes and mumbles about it, she still blows the picture up and frames it and hangs it in their bedroom. And Octavia copies the picture and sends it to her mother (who congratulates her and apologizes for not being there), and she sends a copy to Ravenâs mother, too, even though⊠even though their first meeting had been disastrous and the ones which followed hadnât been much better.
Echo gets a copy and sends back a very pricy bottle of whisky for them âto celebrate with.â Raven guesses thatâs about as good as it could get.
âMy kids have been cooing over the ring for weeks, Raven,â Octavia says with a laugh one night over dinner, soon after they make it official. âThey canât stop touching it and we are getting absolutely no work done, and I blame you.â
Raven mutters, âHow much work do fifth graders even have?â but Octavia shushes her.
âTheyâre also calling me âMrs. Reyesâ now, youâll be happy to know.â
Raven is happy to know that (it makes her stomach flutter pleasantly), but instead she laughs and teases, âIâm a modern woman, Octavia Blake, and you kept your last name.â
And she knows that Octavia rolls her eyes after that but she doesnât say anything else and so Raven grins and is happy.
.
.
They never end up having children, but they never end up wanting any. Octavia has her kids at school, and Raven has her job, and they both work full-time and love each other full-time, and they never really wind up feeling like they need children.
They talk about it seriously a few times; about whether or not they should have them. When Octavia tells Raven that she doesnât really want them, sheâs worried Raven will think that she thinks they canât have kids, because of Ravenâs disability. That Raven will think that she doesnât trust her to raise children; that Raven will think that she thinks that, because Raven canât see, she wonât be able to take care of a crying baby or a screaming toddler or an angsty teenager.
But that isnât the case; that isnât it at all.
Octavia has never wanted kids; and it isnât because she thinks she and Raven canât do it (theyâd be kickass parents, please) but just that⊠kids were never necessary for her. She just never had the desire to be a mother; not really.
Raven kisses her to quiet her down, after Octavia gushes and mumbles and stumbles through apologies and excuses. Raven kisses her and says, quietly, âI never really wanted them either.â She leans her head against Octaviaâs forehead. âI would have had them with you, if you wanted, and I would love the fuck out of those kids. But I agree with you; I never really needed them. I never really wanted them.â She kisses her again. âI love you, Octavia. With or without kids. I donât need them to be happy.â
So they donât have kids.
But Lexa and Clarke have two: a beautiful little boy named Aden and his sister, Zoe (both adopted at the same time). And Raven and Octavia love those two kids like they were their own. And the kids go absolutely crazy any time Auntie O visits â which has Lexa groaning more often than not (They were just quieting down, Octavia!). And Raven brings them gadgets and trinkets and candies â which Clarke tolerates even as she berates her (If my kids kill themselves with your âtoysâ Raven, I swear to GodâŠ).
They donât have their own.
But theyâre there for every one of Adenâs and Zoeâs birthdays. Theyâre there when Bellamyâs son is born (he cries so hard that Octavia and Lincoln have to physically drag him off of the floor). Theyâre there when Lincoln and his wife â a lovely woman: small but strong, quiet but wise, striking and elegant and also with a soulmate she was never destined to be with â bring home twins from the hospital, small and crying and beautiful (and the look on Ravenâs face when Octavia placed the smallest little bundle into her arms was enough to make Octavia grin and kiss Raven on the cheek and mumble platitudes into her ear). Theyâre named godmothers to more than one babbling baby over the course of their thirties.
They do finally get a dog, a big lumbering golden retriever that wags its tail so hard Octavia has to get rid of all of the unstable coatracks and delicate vases in their entrance hall because they crash to the ground more often than not and she gets tired of picking up broken pottery and she gets tired of replacing broken wood.
They name her Fox, and though Octavia complains that Raven loves the dog more than she loves her, they both know which one of them feeds Fox scraps from the dining room table (even though it isnât good for her and it spoils her â which is what Raven scolds every time she catches Octavia at it).
Fox is beautiful and warm and fiercely defensive of Raven (just like Octavia is), and when she isnât wearing her vest Aden and Zoe like to ride on her back, giggling and screaming as she races through Clarke and Lexaâs front lawn.
And they live. And they love. And they are happy, for the rest of their lives. And itâs more than Raven could have ever dreamed, and itâs all that Octavia could have ever wanted. And it isnât perfect but then life never is. And it isnât as if they donât fight; it isnât as if they donât have problems; it isnât as if they donât face hardships and setbacks and long, sleepless nights. They do.
But they live. And they love. And they are happy. And thatâs all anyone could have ever hoped for.

Sister Responsibilities - Lexa kom Trikru x Octavia Blake Twin!Sister!Reader
@marvel-wlw :) it would be a Lexa x Reader. The R is Octavia's twin sister and one day Octavia and R get into a fight, Octavia doesn't really like the idea of R dating Lexa. The fight get's pretty bad like everyone can hear them yelling. When R had enough she leaves and goes to Lexa. R breaks down and Lexa just holds her. Later on Raven talked to Octavia about what happened and she realized how wrong she was and goes to apologize and it ends in fluff?
"You're dating the commander? Seriously Y/n!" Octavia pretty much yelled as she pulled you away from your work to talk. "So what?" You asked, eyebrows furrowed as Octavia held your wrist, her sword in her other hand.
"It puts a freaking target on your back! You could date anyone else but no you decide to date the freaking commander of the 13 clans!" Octavia was almost screaming at this point.
"Its not my fault. I love her for ark's sake!" You shouted back causing Octavia to growl, eyes widening in shock and anger.
"My sister would be smarter than to fall in love with someone who could get them killed... I dont even know who you are anymore!" Octavia yelled, pulling her arm away as you tried to grab her so she would look at you.
"O, what are you talking about? Im still your sister." You whimpered, tears gathering on your eyes.
"My twin sister would be smarter than this...go... Go be with the commander... You're no sister of mine..." Octavia growled, pointing sword away from her body, passed you towards the Trikru camp outside of Arkadia.
"Octavia-" you whimpered, a tear finally falling "GO!" Your sister screamed causing you to freeze. Everyone was watching and you'd had enough.
Turning on your heel, you stormed out of the camp, passing Bellamy and Clarke who looked extremely confused.
"Y/n? Hey!" Bellamy yelled but it fell on deaf ears as you continued, breaking into a run as the tears ran from your eyes like waterfalls.
You didn't stop until you arrived at the Trikru camp, Anya and Indra outside the tent as you approached, shaking. They both raised eyebrows at you as you asked quietly if Lexa was busy. To your relief she wasn't as they let you pass. Lexa was stood at her table observing maps when she heard your sobbing.
"Y/n? Ai hodnes?" Lexa asked, extremely concerned as you stumbled into her tent, trembling with tears flowing as you gasped for air.
Lexa automatically moved, pulling you into her chest, your ear resting so she could hear your heartbeat as she picked you up and carried you to her large fur covered bed.
Lexa held you as you cried. Only when you calmed down you explained what happened causing a sad look in Lexa's eyes as she held you close.
"Don't you think that was a little overboard?" Raven questioned, arms crossed as she stood infront of Octavia as she sharpened her sword.
"She needed a reality check." Octavia growled, eyes on the blade before glancing up to Raven.
"Your twin sister basically ran out of camp, crying her eyes out because her twin basically disowned her and disapproves of the only relationship she has ever had... She was okay with you and Lincoln even though we were at war..." Raven argued causing Octavia to glance up, a flicker of guilt in her eyes.
"She knows I love her. She's my baby sister." Octavia replied, glaring.
"Didnt seem like it then. The entire camp heard the two of you yelling. Bellamy and Clarke ran into y/n storming out of camp crying waterfalls. She thinks you hate her Octavia." Raven replied, crossing her arms more before Octavia sighed, sheathing her sword.
"You better apologise!" Raven exclaimed loudly as Octavia walked out of Arkadia to find you.
Octavia sighed as she walked through the Trikru camp spotting Anya and Indra standing outside Lexa's tent.
"I need to see my sister." Octavia announced as Anya and Indra acknowledged her. Indra just nodded as she called out to Lexa in trigedasleng of your sister's arrival.
Lexa glanced at you as you slept with your head on Lexa's chest before Octavia walked in, pausing as she took in her surroundings with you lying on Lexa and her bed, asleep.
"Ai hodnes...wake up..." Lexa coaxed, running her fingers through your hair as you stirred, bleary eyes staring into Lexa's before Octavia cleared her throat.
"What are you doing here? You told me to go." You growled almost, not even moving as Lexa held you protectively.
"Raven mentioned i may have gone a bit overboard." Octavia began before you scoffed. "A bit?"
"I came to apologise. You're my baby sister and...and i can't loose you too. Im sorry y/nn..." Octavia admitted, a tear threatening to fall.
"You're not going to lose me. Lexa's teaching me how to defend myself with Anya since Lincoln and Indra taught you... I know im the youngest but we stopped being kids the day that damn dropship landed on Earth..." You replied, getting up from Lexa's arms as she got up to hold your hand.
"I know... Im sorry... You know I love you y/nn..." Octavia replied, reaching out for your other hand causing you to smile weakly.
"I get that you think me dating Lexa puts me in danger but there are a lot of dangers outside on this planet... I love you too big sister..." You replied causing Octavia to hug you as Lexa went to talk to Anya, kissing your cheek in the process.
"My sister. My responsibility."

Conversation
Anti Octavia Blake Discussion
Hey yall! So I'm a big Octavia stan. I pretty much stan all badass female warrior type characters; Allison Argent, Black/White Canary, Tris Prior, Lexa, Octavia, Isabelle Lightwood. Any woman that can handle a weapon I'm all for it.
To get to the point of this post, I did some searching on here about why people dislike Octavia so much. For the life of me I couldn't understand so I wanted to see the other side of things. Having looked at some posts I can see why people wouldn't like her.
The majority of what I'm seeing is that she kills too freely and some people think she's racist and abusive.
1) Kills too freely: I do agree with this but here's why I don't care. It's a fucking show. She's killed way less people than Clarke and Bellamy combined. Granted, she went about it in a "less humane" way. There really is no humane way to kill someone for the sake of survival and when you look at all of her kills they've been about survival no matter how small it seemed. She's no different from Clarke and Bellamy pulling the lever countless times. She just knows how to handle a weapon better than they do because she's a fucking warrior. And it's a fucking show.
2) She's racist: How dare you. Like seriously, how dare you. Being Black, I can't see any case where she's been racist. Not that being Black or any minority sets the bar for knowing when someone's racist or not but that's just my opinion. Lincoln, the love of her life, was presumably Black. Indra, her motherly mentor, is Black. Raven and Monty are here friends. She's never done anything to harm any of these people - I saw someone say she smacked Lincoln when he was on drugs and I about lost it because he needed tough love at that point (having a parent on drugs at the moment I'd love to smack some sense into them as well). In 5x02 she killed the guy that stabbed Jaha, a Black man that she HATED the entire series. Mind you, she didn't want to kill those people, she even gave them a choice to LIVE IN PEACE SO THEY CAN ALL BE WONKRU. What about that is racist exactly? She's got Indra, Miller, and Gaia by her side as adversaries toward the end of the episode. HOW IS THAT RACIST EXACTLY? And if the issue is about her only killing people of color, which was the point that person was trying to make, she's killed White people too. So killing sees no color. You happy?
3) She's abusive: This one I can actually kinda agree on but only because they brought up her beating Bellamy up when he was chained to the cave wall after Lincoln was killed. I was fifty on that when I watched it with my older sister. We were uncomfortable about it so we didn't talk about it really and we have a very different relationship than the Blake siblings, then again we aren't the Blake siblings. Here's why I'm arguing against this statement, Octavia grew up isolated from everyone except her mother who's dead and her brother. Besides Bellamy, she only really had Lincoln that she let into her life in a significant way. I'm not saying her beating him was okay, but let's not forget she up until Earth she only had two one important person in her life and when the second was murdered in front of her by her brother's "mentor" she lashed out on the only other living closest person should had. Again, it wasn't right of her, but we all fuck up. The other scene that was referenced was her making Ilian sleep with her or something in the cave. FIRST OF ALL, season four was the beginning of her darkest hour. That scene was her admitting she didn't feel anything because she was numb from pain and loss, and she wanted to kill herself. Ilian stopped her from going out into the black rain and doing just that. She begged him to make her feel something else. She didn't rape him. She didn't act "abusively" to make him make her feel something. Oh, and there was another comment about her shoving Indra when she was weak. In case yall haven't noticed the FUCKING GROUNDERS speak in violence and tough love. She learned this behavior from Indra. She integrated into grounder culture. Obviously, not everyone is violent or a warrior but what do you expect of someone who's social interaction was limited for sixteen years to her older brother and mother that babied her, then she was locked up in after the reveal of her existence, and pushed into a world where violence beget violence. "Jus drein jus daun" right? Where's the loyalty to that saying or is it only okay when Lexa says it? Or any other grounder?
So if anyone would like to politely discuss the issue I'd be down for hearing more of the other side viewpoints because until I looked into this I hadn't thought about all of those traits. Now, I'm a writer so I do spend more time in characters head's (like most writers do) and feel more protective and defensive of them than most. Even if I don't like a character I can understand their side and I don't just jump into hating someone without trying to dig into where everything's coming from. I wasn't a fan of Jaha a lot of the time but I appreciated what his character brought and I saw that he was struggling and trying to make amends even though he was largely hated throughout the fandom. People in this fandom, like mosts, don't seem to take second glances at characters. Like Jasper. Lots of people hated him later in the seasons and I didn't agree with everything that he did or became but he was hurting dammit. And no one seemed to remember that.

Honestly I feel I want to make this. Yet it's very difficult to think of what could be the right thoughts. But I'm including my opinions.
Including read the notes and one I agree. Thank the lord it's not like post first movie SpongeBob or other episodes.
Honestly like the others have said The Loud House is a light hearted show. It's just some parts bother me a bit. Including interesting whenever I am critical of a episode and how characters act almost left episode or some shit. But I seem quite critical and seem to want the characters to handle things in a more mature way.
Basically the mean spirited part. Including with characters like Lincoln might as well say these. It's episodes like I remember mentioning these but I deleted the post because I couldn't reply to the notes or some shit. An episode like okay got a message from @wyomingparmesan ha will reply gal lol.
But an episode like, "No Such Luck" where I have seen so much hatred for. Including fan art and other shit. Yet I don't seem the most bothered at times. Because well I try to not put the episode on at times. Yet I seem to be more bothered by certain episodes.
Such as, "Sleuth Or Consequences" had to go on YouTube to spell consequences got audio thing off. Yet it's honestly the ending where Lincoln's sister's decide to make fun of him for the rest of his life because of taking the fall for Lucy. Yet when I feel just....I should just mention if we think about it Lisa had cameras in the bathroom for a year. Meaning she could have footage. I know they not always do that. Yet I was bothered by how the ending was and it's a episode I never wanna watch. Because I felt the episode could of been dealt with better. Also this talk we live in a world of bronies but whatever.
Then, "Tattlers Tale" however it's spelt where Lola despite the ending seriously blackmailed her siblings. Including when just...you know their parents might as well find out the truth some time later.
We also have the April Fool's episodes where no one's decides to speak up and call Luan on her bullshit.
Then the ending of, "It's A Loud Loud Loud House" however many louds it has in the title.
Seriously theirs other stuff. Yet I'm just speaking about how morals are designed. In fact it's the reason why I decided not to talk much about episodes. Despite I've been enjoying the latest episodes. I even had the thoughts maybe after Chris Savino being off the episodes could be better or some shit.
But about the siblings I kind of forget about reality is with siblings. I have a brother who's five years younger then me almost left older lol. We've gotten in fights where I yell and even I guess lose respect for him, some times insults, even him scaring me at times yet I tell him to stop but doesn't. Including at times I have almost.....cried.
But their are times where mainly with his friends or just me and him. Where we talk about something even something I'm not the biggest fan of we talk and laugh at times. Because it would be a narly talk. Probably about video games and some shows.
Along with I feel like I may start them at times. Only by being pissed off because I'm honestly hold up in my room and get a bit angry when he comes in or just doesn't go away. I've said it's a mixed relationship.
But also my mom saying my brother messes with me at times that I shouldn't think it's my fault or some shit.
Sorry this took a while I need to go I'm at Pizza Hut I need to meet my therapist now it's 1:31 pm almost left please lol ha
Question: Is The Loud House considered a mean-spirited show? I remembered having a conversation with a friend, and she doesnât like the series because to her itâs mean spirited, among a few other things. I donât see it that way.
