EMMA. okay, so emma is pretty much one of THE coolest people i know. total lady hero, lifespiration, I-WANNA-BE-HER-WHEN-I-GROW-UP caliber of human being here. she's smart, she's sharp, she's funny, she's talented to the NTH degree, she has the finest of champagne tastes and yet knows how to laugh and have fun, too, and enjoys stuff regardless of cheeseball qualities because she knows a good time when she sees one. it's a tricky thing, finding someone so classy who also loves legolas' derp faces and puns and the good-bad shit that is nbc's dracula and that ilk. she's the sort of writer who makes me frolic with delight even though i HATE her for being SO DAMN GOOD (how dare u). also her ability to read a book a day -- literally -- may make you froth with envious rage.
