To me Solo Leveling is SOOOOOO GOOOOOOODDDD!!! I think I've read the manhwa five times by now and I've watched the show twice LMAO (had to rewatch it in eng dub cause jinwoo sounds even more GODLY there). If you like pure power fantasy kind of show with fast pacing and great action sequences, this is definitely for you. I know a lot of people complain about the storyline being mid and how they focus solely on Jinwoo and make the other characters feel unimportant and while yes in some ways that is true (the story is pretty simple but it's executed very well in terms of being entertaining) I feel like it's just so much fun to read/watch so I don't really understand the problem.

I do encourage you to read the manhwa first, and then watch the show. It only has 200 chapters and I swear you won't be able to put it down once you start (my husband and I both finished it in 2 days, we just couldn't stop LOL). the art in the manhwa is AMAZING and the mc has so much more aura there (i hate using the term aura cause it's been overused but like... he definitely has aura in the manhwa, even more than the anime).

also, they cut a lot of stuff from the anime, so I think it's better if you read the manhwa first and then watch the show. There are moments that are better in the anime, cause it's longer, but you should definitely read the manhwa.

That's the top anime on my list like it's truly the best anime I've ever seen. Each character is admirable, very well developed. Soundtrack's a banger (made by the same composer of Solo Leveling), animation is nice and consistent and THE PLOT AND ALL THE DETAILSSSS UGHHHH SO GOOD!!!

You're gonna need to rewatch it twice though to really understand/see everything since it has so many subtle foreshadowings, parallels, and details that you might miss during your first watch especially since the storytelling isn't linear, like you go back and forth between two different POVs but it's SO GOOD seriously. bawled my eyes out in two different episodes. still bawling on my third rewatch. insane.

It starts with Jiwoo being tensed and the next panel was...what the hell was that! Mr. Cat passed out!

That’s rough, buddy. The great Kayden has turned into a fat cat. Jiwoo will be worried while Kayden will be like ‘why am I in this form? I don’t have enough energy to change into another one’. Jiwoo shakes Kayden a lot, saying “Don’t Die” repeatedly. If a cat threatened me, I will be like ‘I am hallucinating too much’ as a talking cat passed out for no reason!

Jiwoo will be pretty surprised while Kayden will just be thinking that he turned into a cat. Seriously? Then Jiwoo asks how can he talk like a human as he is a cat like a normal person. Relatable. While Kayden says that he can talk as a human as he is one and thinks it’s a stupid question! Bruh. Kayden tries not to answer things, if you didn’t blow your cover, you wouldn’t need to answer! Kayden gets annoyed by our cinnamon roll’s questions. It becomes awkward.

Kayden gets hungry and Jiwoo gives him food. He is a human in cat form! Jiwoo convinces Kayden to eat bc.....I don’t have an answer. Jiwoo left to feed the stray cats while Kayden will enjoy the food!?!?!?! He eats the entire thing!

He does the most logical thing ever. He says that the cat food pushed itself into him instead that he ate it! Jiwoo comes back, he needs more cat food. Wait a minute...didn't he just buy them today! Kayden must have had majority of it. Is this kid living alone? Where does he get the money from? Jiwoo asks Kayden if he wants to come with and again tries to convince him. He literally is trying to say ‘Don’t trust me!’ Jiwoo picks him up while I start chocking bc I am laughing like hell! Kayden doesn’t like that he is being treated like a cat 🙄 Seriously! 

They finally get a solution......

Kayden tried to get a grip *cough* he miserably fails *cough*. They reach the animal hospital for getting snacks. Jiwoo tricked Kayden as he actually brought Mr. Cat for a check up. The introduction didn’t go well......let’s just say Kayden wants to kill the doctor. He gets checked by the doctor while being extremely uncomfortable. The doctor explains what happened while Jiwoo will be relieved and Kayden, he is a cat and acts like one. Hooray! Everyone is nice! The doc then suggests for Kayden to go for a diet..........why do I feel like he will die soon by Kayden.

They leave and Kayden sees a ✨monster cat✨ That’s a cat? You sure? My cat identifying skills must have went down when I saw Garfield in a manhwa. They do the most logical *cough* cliché *cough* thing and run. The cat chases them, sure the cat has nothing better to do than following Garfield and a cinnamon roll. They got cornered *insert thrilling music*. Jiwoo pulls out a....cat toy fishing rod!?!?!?! Why do I think this will actually work? Why does Kayden look amazed by that? 

“Hello, yes, I need a eye check up. Why? Because I am seeing weird things!”

It actually worked! Then Jiwoo looks at Kayden and he.....

The first time I read this, it caught my attention. The Chapter 0 was written well. I was writing this after reading chapter 22 and like the others say, at the beginning of the story, it has a slow paced story but the growth of the MC is what I like about these types of manhwas. How to use the knowledge of knowing what will happen is what makes you continue this manhwa. The scenario and art are similar to other dungeon related manhwas but I really have high expectations from this.

THIS WEBTOON IS AWESOME!! The plot, art style and the character development is top tier. Characters with great personality, these martial artist, some genuin fighters (Mori Jin) some power borrowers (Daewi Han, Mira Yoo), are some exceptional characters in GOH and the main protagonists. Their will to achieve their goals, their loyalty to their friendship and all the mysteries of their pasts that they in tern did not even know about. They go through ups and the even higher ups while staying true to themselves and they pass your love for them like a batton to each other throughout the story.

Storyline is great, it's funny and always keeping you on your toes. To be honest when I had just started I had no clue to where it was going, I just knew that it was about martial arts... and a lot happened in the manhwa that I cannot comprehend. After reading it, all the details and informations are still processing to me. I thought it was all about MARTIAL ARTS and SCHOOL and stuff but man, it was a roller coaster ride. I‘m sure you’ll be hooked as well. The plot twist is giving me anxiety lmao so yeah, if you like a lot of fighting, great characters and detestable villains then what are you waiting for?? I’m sure it is perfect for you and you’re gonna like it.

I really really love this story so just read it and don't read useless reviews. But I made one anyways lol. Sooo...

I clicked on Eleceed by mistake and I don't regret it at all. The cover picture looked very boring to me but the story is amaziiing. What are you still waiting for? Art will also get better with time and characters. I don't know how this is possible but I love almost every character in this manhwa. Like yeah, first you won't like everyone but there is this thing called character development. I am an avid fan of solo leveling so I made it in top 3 but solo leveling is still higher tho hahaha yes I do have favoritism. The protagonist will also become OP but you can see that he worked hard and well KAYDEN-SAMA (he's proly not japanese but I had to show some respects) is his teacher. Kayden is not the protagonist (sadly) but he's also the OP from the beginning. On the top of that he's very cruel and the tsundere type (which is really popular in the manhwa), haha. In the first chapter, he got seriously hurt by his enemies so he decided to turn into cat and hide. Meanwhile in this time, Jiwoo will find him (this manhwa is full of cat lovers, I love it) and take care of him. That's when they will get to know each other and build their beautiful father-pupil relationship. In next chapters, we will encounter many difficult situations with many different characters but seriously - I LOVE THEM ALL. They will turn into such babies, I swear, you will love them too.

This manhwa made me cry so many times. But not because it was sad. It was sooo funny! I don't normally read comedies but this is a gem. Yeah, so if you liked Solo leveling or The beginning after the End, you will most likely like this too. I feel like this is way too underrated, so let's change it! Let's make it into a well-known manhwa!

This manhwa which is about a king being reborn in another world. The protagonist Arthur, short Art(pre-rebirth: King Grey), is learning magic and fighting from a young age and is good at it since he can use his experiences from his former life in swordsmanship and the KI from his previous world is similiar to the mana in the world the story is taking place in. The characters have nice backgrounds that are getting more clear as the story moves on. Also the characters are developing over time. The story is very interesting: Not only is it very exciting but it also has a lot of events that make sense and dont just come out of nowhere like it often happens in such mangas. If u don't read this you will really miss a lot of joy and exitement. I have put this on top 2 because I can? Haha lol jokes aside, I just really really love the storyline so much as it progresses, in recent chapter I just gosh my sail just sailed. I don’t know author-nim is focusing on more action/adventure/isekai genre but no hun, romance is in it as well!

As for negative things about the manga...The art isn't the best. Art's family loves fem heartily, but at times it can come across as a bit too gooey. There is homophobia in chapter 40.

Review: I put this on my top 1 because duh?? The plot/ storyline is top tier, I know this is overrated by some of you but this manhwa is the defenition of a perfect masterpiece.

Well to be honest it is the best manhwa so far that i ever read and i love to know more so please author dont stop this manga for atleast a century and also waiting for when it is going to release its anime version.

Solo Leveling is a manga with the leveling aspect similar to ''the gamer or shield hero'' where we follow the breathtaking journey Sung Jin-Woo who is at the weakest amongst all hunters ''E-Rank'' fighting his way through many life and death experiences and hardships.

okay so tbh i have only revealed my kpop love to select people in my life IRL...buuuut im working on being more open about it bc these boys give me so much laughter and joy and it's good to be excited about things!! yesterday my mom discovered kpop and i came running into her room to be like omg let me show you MY FAV GROUP NCT. she didnt seem to vibe with the songs i showed her but honestly i get that cuz sometimes for me, i listen to an NCT song and im like ehhh but then i keep listening and im like wait this song is actually so good (this has happened with kick it, limitless, maw, work it...to name a few)

omg also yes i am familiar with tsundere and anime terminology!! i do watch anime - not as much as i used to, but i still enjoy a good anime :)) some of my favs are hunterxhunter, toradora, fmab, my hero academia, anohana...wow how many am i gonna name, anyway if you dont watch a lot of anime pls feel free to disregard this paragraph and we can continue talking about kpop lmao

i liked awsaz!! for me, some eps were definitely funnier than others lol but i really like the concept and it's something only nct can do! the jaehyun/jisung ep was prob my second favorite even tho i cringed a lot but in the best way possible. i would LOVE to see them continue doing awsaz with wayv members!! like the ep with winwin/jisung (and henderey/haechan hosts) was so great!! also lmao jisung is just awkward with everybody, they could literally make a whole awsaz show with just jisung 😂 (also a side note: i love how he is still the maknae even after sungchan/shotaro joined haha he will always be our NCT baby 🥺)

as for what i didnt like...dont hate me but some of the missions were a little...slow for me? like in some eps when they just take the selfies and decorate it in the book i kinda skimmed those parts 😅 i think it would be cool if they had more missions that require them to actually do things with each other (i guess kinda like icebreakers lmao even tho i personally hate icebreakers) - like in the winwin/js episode, they involved the hosts and had them do some drawing thing that was funny. but actually i guess it also depends who the hosts are, i feel like some host combinations are funnier (whether bc of their chemistry with the participants or each other) so maybe that can't really be controlled

oooh wait one of my close friends is also a taurus!! love that haha (i dont rly take horoscopes super seriously (even tho i do think im kinda a virgo) but theyre interesting to look at)

ohh i understand that! my irl friends judge me for loving kpop so much (not all of them) but, frankly, i couldn’t care less because there’s nothing wrong with loving kpop so  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ my mom, however, puts up with me and my kpop obsession very well tbh she does pay attention when i show her their stages and songs and even some funny content~ and so far she loves jaehyun, minghao(svt) and jisoo(bp) the most (all 3 for their visuals lmaoo) dhagfdshgad as far as the music goes, she reeeeeally loves from home 🥺 (tho i really love those overproduced hype songs, so for me it’s not hard to vibe with them right from the start lmao and esp kick it and maw those were love at first sight! here’s a funny story related to kick it: as you already know i’m a dancer and bc i immediately fell in love w kick it i learned the whole choreo for that song, usually i only know chorus or the dance points, and my mother watched me and she said i was really good i could fit well in 127 ghdafgds ahhh what an ego boost thanks mom everyone should have you as their mom tbh)
