Why do all the father's day cards say shit like "here's to the GRILLMASTER who FARTS A LOT" or "crack open a COLD ONE for the ALCOHOLIC who RAISED ME" I just want a nice card for my dad 😭

#yes i waited until the day of I'm sorry #but seriously modern society has absolutely no idea what to think about fatherhood #like if we stop joking about how moms do all the work then dads will have to do work....#but we can't walk it back and say dads provide all the financial support bc it's impossible to support a family on a single income #so what do we do?#all i know is it isn't the simpsons fault that's both the dumbest and funniest thing I've ever heard #op
