the problem with the gilmore girls fandom is that in a show full of nepo babies they think rory gilmore is the nepo baby
#she is SURROUNDED by people who have had wealth all their lives and she did not grow up that way#and fans think her having her grandparents provide certain things is the same as her peers at chilton and yale#and like sure it's absolutely something a lot of people are not lucky enough to have but she KNOWS that!#the people around her are not aware of the realities of money bc they've never had to be#but rory always has been bc she was raised by a single teenage mother#like i just don't understand it always seems like people didn't watch the show#bc they don't realize rory does not have the same background as the people around her#rory gilmore#gilmore girls
