im not booktok’s intended audience and am a hashtag hater for many reasons but jack edwards is doing something right
#to that point i think a lot of individual creators who contribute to booktok contribute in a productive way to#literature and fostering passion for it and helping the masses find the interest to improve their own#critical thinking skills but the hive mind of it all does 10x as much damage as the good#but regardless jack edwards taking his education and his love of literature and speaking booktok’s language while being critical and#uniquely funny and finding a new way to make a living off of a literature degree is compelling#very genuinely he’s an inspiration to me career wise#and i want his bookcase sososososo bad not only the shelves themselves but his collection as well#forgot he existed for awhile but we’re so back#which is to say in an unforeseen incident i finished reading all the books i had set aside for winter break and winter break has not even#started yet so i am looking for recommendations and i trust his
