I love that Sanji reports to Luffy he’ll be leaving for a bit before running after the samurai

It’s these subtle things that show he respects his Captain but Luffy is so laidback (a. Bc he doesn’t impose his position very often and b. He’s confident Sanji can handle any trouble that comes his way) that he just says go for it without looking to see him off. And Sanji runs off without another word.

Also love that Nami sent Zoro with Brook and Sanji, not for back up but to keep Sanji focused on fighting with Zoro and not perving on her body XD

Body swapping antics done so damn well man. I love that for the most part, the other Straw Hats aren’t skipping a beat at the mixed up bodies and just accept it as the current norm that will likely be resolved down the line.

#punk hazard arc #punk hazard coming for baratie’s whole weave in terms of my fave OP arcs I’ve watched thus far #I enjoy Baratie from the East Blue era a lot #like the other arcs are certainly more complex and more narratively rich #but you’re gonna favour your old school faces #and I loved the baratie arc before I got back into OP #that said I loved Skypeia #and the Water 7-Enies Lobby arcs #of the Summit War era (Sabaody Impel Down Marinford) I #I mean Sabaody was fun bc Luffy got to reallllly fail for the first time #and then Marineford Luffy fails in the worst way a second time #which leads to him becoming stronger but I enjoy when heroes get ripped down to their barest bones and built back up again #it’s satisfying as hel #hell #but punk hazard is coming through in a big way for fun and mystery rn #one piece #straw hats #manga #anime #Sanji
