they need to hook me up to some kind of device that will send a high voltage electric shock through my body every time i open twitter and compare myself to people who quite literally are able to work full time on writing/publishing short fiction

#sometimes i do i wonder how many people are aware of their privilege bc the amount of times ive seen someone say #in 2019 or whatever i finally bit the bullet and pursued writing full time....like congrats on the perseverance but you were able to trial #full time writing in the first place?!?!?#but privilege convos are really nuanced i do just feel a bit insane when i read things like that #even with the privilege of living with my dad not working was literally not an option for me even tho i question if im even fit to work lol #also just comparing myself to people who have literally been publishing longer than i've been writing
