i was thinking about shiri's magic re: spirit healing. she's very in tune with spirits and part of her being quite knowledgeable about demons is that you have to be careful about what you're summoning. however, i do believe that her abilities are more tied to the physical, as in, she feels the bones she mends, how the blood is supposed to flow, where your nerves connect. she can sense which part of the body has been infected, locate the root cause more easily, that sort of thing.

shiri's very focused on the aspect of sustaining and preserving the living, however this also ties heavily with why she's branded as a bit of a heretic come post 5th blight, and that is because her research borderlines practices branded by others as forbidden, such as blood magic or even necromancy, a little bit.
