curious who the people you ship with regulus are? I don’t know if you’ve talked about it before but do you see barty and regulus working? Or perhaps evan and regulus?

if i'm being honest, only james!! i've read him with other ppl, and depending on the portrayal i've enjoyed it quite a lot, but at my core i'm a jegulus shipper..

i do see barty and regulus working, but not in the long term. or only if they're not exactly romantic not exactly platonic but a secret third thing. or being 100% romantic but in an unhealthy and lowkey toxic relationship. i feel like they have a lot of chemistry, but u can't build a proper relationship just on that you know?? to me, they have the kind of relationship that u can't really label bc it doesn't exist in just one side of the spectrum

then again, i love some of my friends' bartylus (especially jen's and dil's) and i do ship their versions of them. i just . don't ship bartylus in general .

and i don't see reg and evan working in a romantic sense at all!! they're always friends in my mind. i think they could work sexually under very specific circumstances, but that's about it. i feel like they want very different things in a relationship, things that they could never find in each other

Queerplatonic prongsfoot.

James and Sirius who were each other’s first kiss, and learnt the ropes of sex together, and still make out and have sex when they’re bored or horny or want to be close to each other sometimes, and sit in each other’s lap at all times.

Sirius who started seeing Remus and cried for days because that meant he couldn’t be like that with James anymore.

James who sat Remus down for a very long talk about boundaries, because he can’t have his best friend feeling like this, it’s a crime.

Regulus and Sirius who both love James too much to give him up, but also make him wash his mouth for five minutes straight before kissing either one of them after the other.

lowkey agree with the whole prongsfoot thing, though they aren’t queerplatonic soulmates to me. they will always and forever be a secret third thing. childhood best friends, each others boyhood, adolescense, always feeling safe with each other, loving each other, experimenting together, so on and so forth. <- to me, the peak of their physical relationship were during their teenage years and it sort of fizzles out naturally as they grow up. not entirely, though. they’ll always teeter the line of platonic, always be deeply codependant in a way that their partners will just have to deal with. they’ve both been broken up over it several times

except for remus !! super special to me that remus is a bitter spitefully jealous person when it comes to sirius, but that just simply doesn’t apply to james. james is sirius’ soulmate, but remus is sirius’ choice. <- being chosen is the height of romance to me. i love you on purpose. i choose you every day. that’s wolfstar to me. i feel like if anything, it would be remus and sirius who would have to sit down and talk about james rather than james sitting remus down to like.. set boundaries in a relationship that’s not his. but either way, yeah, sirius and james always have to have to Talk with their partners. though not really with remus, because remus has also been their best friend for years, and remus knows them. he loves sirius, and a huge part of what makes sirius is james. never saw one without the other. and so remus would never really need or want boundaries.. <3 though.. i am not immune to wolfstarbucks.. 🤍

lastly.. as we all know… im not a jegulus girlie unfortunately.. but me and the couples comglomerate (lane, renn & kara) have been talking lately about a dark academia fucked up blackcest throuple with jock james. think talented mr ripley vibes where regulus is obsessed with the idea of james and sirius fucking, and regulus just can’t get it out of his head. he wants james because sirius chose him over regulus, wants him so sirius can’t have him, wants to be sirius so james will fuck him. regulus impersonating sirius because that’s what he’s been taught his whole life anyway. to watch and observe sirius, be compared to sirius, be less than sirius, always behind sirius, watching him. anyway this is my roundabout way of saying that regulus would refuse this supposed toothbrush because he wants to chase his brother off of james’ lips…:/ i think that if james is going to be involved with both black brothers we’re just gonna have to admit that it’s incestuous and weird no matter how often they brush their teeth <- reg would steal said toothbrush. btw .
