You wanted to make fun of Joel for wanting to live on a farm and be a singer - but you just couldn’t

Despite your air-headed tendencies, Joel and Ellie develop a protective instinct towards you, ensuring your safety and well-being all the time

Although unlike Ellie Joel has it balanced where he’s protective of both you and Ellie

Later when it came to the hospital wanting to make a cure Marlene decided to make a deal with Joel to choose which one of you he’ll be taking home alive

Let’s just say that he didn’t like that and just when they were about to open you this man turned into John Wick

Dad protective instincts kicked in

There’s no way in hell he’s gonna lose both of his “kids”, he can’t let that happen

Taking you and Ellie into Jackson obviously worried Joel, but when it came to lying he was glad that you believed him very easily unlike Ellie who was a bit sceptical

He feels guilty, but he’s glad that he has his “kids” safe abd Ellie is happy to know that her best friend is okay

What are your thoughts on Jo x Brick and Dawn x Dakota?

i fucken love jock whether it's platonic or romantic i just think their dynamic is great. honestly cant believe fresh tv didnt make it canon because they were clearly going in that direction but im also kinda glad they didnt because it means they didnt mess it up lmao

they have some pretty major things in common that they can bond over while having enough differences that they can learn from each other. or. uh. jo can learn some things lmao (though i'd like to think with time spent together brick learns to put himself first sometimes!! just not to the extent that jo does lmao)

the rivalry. the jabs. top tier. i'd love to have seen a progression of jo's mean nicknames turning affectionate but she doesn't notice she's doing it until people call her out on it lmao.

i used to write a lot of fanfic for a different fandom and i've considered writing for td many times and this is definitely one of the ships i'd like to explore

overall, one of the only valid (almost) canon het ships

i haven't really considered dawn x dakota much tbh (dawnkota?) but it'd definitely have potential to be interesting

the only interaction between them i can think of the top of my head (other than PRETEND ITS DADDY'S STEAK KNIFE) is in the dorm when dawn's like "ur need for attention is because ur depressed and deprived of love" or smth but with how dakota responds "wtf did my therapist tell u that" it suggests that she's self aware at least to some extent and it would have been neat to see them discuss this more

i quite like the contrast between how dakota cares so much about how others perceive her to the point where every move she makes is to gain attention and be seen as glamorous and admirable, whereas dawn gives so little of a shit of what people think of her that she'll talk to animals, knowing that it's unorthodox, and tell people to their faces what she thinks is wrong with them. i'd like to see dawn show dakota that she's valuable as a person without the attention and maybe dakota can help dawn feel more like part of the group? (dawn kinda reminds me of my younger self who didn't fit in with my peers so much that the only choice was to be weirder and more offputting on purpose so that having no friends felt intentional)

overall it's not a ship i think about but i can definitely see why people would ship it

HII 🦭 ANON!!

hmm tbh I don't care much about any particular ship in twst, but my OTP is everyone x therapy for sure 😊

other than that, I actually enjoy MC ships a lot! since MC's personality varies depending on the player, there are many possible dynamics with different characters, which makes it very interesting for me!

between the character themselves, I like Rook x Vil, Ace x Deuce and Trey x Cater a lot too, there are many cute fanart and edits of them! tho I'm a multishipper, so I can see many different pairings I'd like. one rarepair I like is Ruggie x Jade because they are both my favorites and they bring me immense joy (no I don't care that they have two or three interactions)

there are some ships that are kinda popular that I like more as a platonic dynamic tho, like Floyd x Riddle (it gives me a bit of bully vibes? but as a dynamic they are so funny), Malleus x Leona (it would not work out, but every interaction between them are SO FUNNY I love it when they keep provoking the other) Epel x Deuce (look it's very cute, but I feel that I like their friendship more), Riddle x Trey (their childhood friendship gives me a bit more of brotherly vibes ig) and Azul x Jamil (I can see it bc of Azul's schoolgirl-crush-like acting around him, but I think it's much funnier as a platonic crush and Azul just doesn't know how to make friends)

hmm idk any more popular ships lol, as long as it's not something weird (like teacher x student or smth) I don't mind them much. in other forms of media I tend to lean more into character ships, but on self insert games I like to explore more their dynamic with the MC!
