That post reminded me but there was this jackson galaxy video where he was talking about how orange cat behavior is just like not a thing (WHICH IS TRUE it drives me insane when people talk about orange cat behavior because what are you even talking about. Its acting like a cat) and how the perception of orange cats who are mostly male as being like dumb but sweet and then meanwhile everyone talks about tortitude and tortoiseshell cats who are mostly female are seen as Sassy and bitchy or whatever and how it mirrors peoples weird human gender hangups that they're just projecting onto cats . Like and it's just rooted in misogyny. And HONESTLY ... he was cooking

#dont evej get me started on orange cat behavior it annoyed me so much when everyone was talking about it . and my friend came over and was #surprised my cats werent 'like totally insane' cuz he was watching too much tiktok dude theyre normal. theyre cats #but people literally project misogyny onto their female cats it sounds like an exaggeration but its not #i feel like regardless of pattern/color people love to be like my male cat has 1 braincell hahaha and my female cat is a bitch. what #i had a friend who thank GOD is an ex friend because. well i wont get into all that but she would say the weirdest things about her female #tortie and it was bizarre she also did the thing of joking her cat was gonna steal her boyfriend or whatever but like also actually acting #weirdly jealous about her i guess because the cat liked the boyfriend more since you know how cats are but she would talk about the cat #legitimately as if it was like a romantic rival and i swear she was only half joking. dude this is your fucking cat #but this was the same cat that she would never play with never clean the litterbox when we lived together #so then i would take care of her and she liked me more and the friend was pissed. like well...#she is a horrible pet owner and not a good person though. dude she would be like im broke i cant feed my cat :( i feel so bad for her and #then go get chipotle i freaked OUT on her for that im like so go buy your cat food and then make a fucking sandwhich what is wrong with you #and so i would always end up buying the cat food because its horrible for cats to go without eating for more than like. 12 hours #and like she had a good job too. i hate this woman let me stop talking about her now #ANYWAYS .. average person you would expect to be misogynistic towards their cat #but my god is that only the tip of the iceberg with her
