There is nothing funnier to me as someone who hasnβt read the book(s) (yet), to see bookreadersβ hatred towards an adaptation.
#I get you loved the source material#but some take it way too seriously#I view all adaptation simply as AUs#makes it much more enjoyable#this doesn't happen in the books? Alright let's explore the other possibility#doesn't mean that there aren't bad projects out there#but overall I'm here for six to ten episodes of 45 to 60 minutes of entertainment#do that and I will enjoy it#hell I watch Sisi (2021) and The Empress (2022) and those are insane AUs of Elisabeth of Austria's actual life
