#but ouch his claws are sooooo sharp

I felt like I got nothing done today because everything looked more chaotic by the time I was 'done' (aka too exhausted to keep going, and also it was late so I had to be quiet). I put up the pegboard I got from IKEA a few days ago, I cleaned a bit in the bathroom and hallway. and then thought I'd just quickly put up the new fabric (it's actually a cheap rug from IKEA lol) that I bought to fix a cat tree that we got for free months ago. the old one was very shredded.

anyway. I realised I couldn't properly remove or replace it without taking the tree apart, so I did that. then I attached the pieces of the rug (I was so glad that I have an electric staple gun lol), etc. etc.

it took so long. soooo long. I broke a piece a little bit so I spent at least 30 minutes just trying to fix that. and when I was mostly done it was too late to finish the rest.

but! I talked to my friend on the phone, that was nice. and I cleaned the hallway in the end so at least the cats can go in there again, even if their cat tree isn't done.

and!! then I ordered food!! by myself! I know that's literally so normal but. I've only done that once before (like 10 years ago. it did not go well!). I didn't even call or anything, just ordered it in the app, but still! I would normally find that impossible! just. going downstairs to get the food when it gets here. it's so stupid but that's really really hard and scary. or it used to be, I guess!

our doorbell is a bit broken, so I went outside when I thought I saw the delivery driver. it was another car, but, there was a stray cat outside that loudly meowed at me! so instead of going back inside, I sat outside and petted the cat for 10 minutes 😄 it was super friendly, jumped up on the bench with me and sat on my lap. my legs are all scratched up now from where it kneaded them lol but it was worth it 💖
