are there any ships that surprised you? (i wish i’d found out about the tourney sooner, would have submitted some incredibly niche pairings)

oh yes, both in the sense of like “i have never even heard of this media/these ppl” and “oh, i never rly thought about This having ships” lol. i was saying on my main, i had noooo idea the metallica boys got down Like That, it’s awesome!

but honestly, im more surprised by some of the ships that WEREN’T submitted. obviously, it’s dependent on who was aware this was even a thing happening, but i was still surprised by some omissions!
