"W-wait...what?" Elenís gasped, her silvery-blue eyes widening. "I don't mean to leave them, it's just...my heart warns me that I could hurt them even if I don't want to. Are you....not afraid?" her eyes found his. "I want to stay, I promise, but at the same time...I already noticed that my light seems at leas uncomfortable to you. They must stop it or I won't be able to anywhere near them," she dropped on a log in a clearing where he found her, burying her face in her hands. "I...don't know what to do. I don't want anyone to suffer, I've seen too much of it," her voice trembled. "And I don't want you... to hate me," she sobbed, the reason for her feeble attempt to keep safe distance now all out. The light within her still had tendencies to surge as if it had mind of it's own. It scared her to her very core.
