Hi, hello, it's me again! 💜 Sorry for all these weird questions, but I'm kinda ✨obsessed✨ with your Lamia and Xiggy.

So. Another weird question:

Who do you think would be more willing to try drag and who'd be better in it?

i'm not super knowledgeable about drag, but ive watched a few drag performances from different contexts and backgrounds (by which i mean, ive watched more than just drag race clips lol) and having worked in live theater i think i have a pretty good handle on the skillset drag requires. that being said!

i had a whole conversation with my partner about how well xigbar would do on drag race or another televised competitive drag reality show. i already think he would absolutely love trashy reality TV (see also the gossip mags he reads in the manga) so him being on reality TV seems so natural for him. he'd kill in the confessional interviews, he'd kill with the bitchy insults, hed make people love to hate him

and as for the drag part specifically, i think he'd be so good at that. he already spends half his time in every cutscene doing poses and mugging for the camera and shit. hes athletic and flexible, he could ace a death drop. his entire role in the Kingdom Hearts universe revolves around him playing different parts and putting on different faces—he'd be pretty versatile and would be such a good performer. idk if this is gonna make sense but i think he'd also kill as a heel in wrestling, and i think those are two skillsets that transfer to each other.

lamia, on the other hand, already puts so little thought into his own gender presentation that i dont think he could exaggerate or change it for drag. he has a kind of charisma and magnetism, but it's more of the Born in a Wet Cardboard Box All Alone variety than the Stage Presence variety. he has the kind of autism* where he isn't very aware of what his own face and body are doing at any given time, so he wouldn't be a very good performer and he wouldnt want to try.

he WOULD find it unreasonably hot to watch xigbar perform in drag though.

(*obviously autism doesnt preclude you from drag or performance in general—i headcanon luxord as autistic (thats a different post) and i think he'd be really good at drag or some other kind of performance like stage acting lol)
