playing mass effect: andromeda for the first time in 5 years and i'd never thought i'd say this because the last time i opened it i was cringing for the whole 2 hours before closing it but. this game is actually so fucking good and so far i'm enjoying pretty much everything

#i mean it has its ups and downs like every other game but its GOOD #and now i genuinely think it was my fault for choosing the wrong things to say in the dialogue wheel when i was playing it in 2018 because #i remembered it as something so unserious and cringey and just straight-up dumb and childish #(aaaand i HATED that they made it into the open-world game. still not a fan but now im more used to this genre so whatever)#especially in contrast with the original trilogy which i replayed like 5 times before trying andromeda. so #obviously i didnt like such drastic change from the heroic and professional shepard to the goofy and almost teenage-like ryder #but now that i have actually took my time to 1) customise ryder to my liking 2) read what each dialogue indicator actually means #3) learn how the very gameplay works 4) wait for the characters i know are my type to appear #i think its safe to say that i was so fucking wrong about this game. like. damn.#.txt
