Late night John Rider lives idea! John and Helen have to make an extremely hard but pragmatic decision - they discover that Scorpia has found out that John is still alive. They find out that there's a plan to plant a bomb on their plane to France. MI6 helps them fake their deaths in line with that plan but Blunt convinces them that the only way that Scorpia will believe they're truly dead is if they leave Alex behind. For surely, no parents would ever abandon their child, especially one that John Rider had already sacrificed so much for. Nobody knows but Blunt, even Ian.

Motive: Yassen to meet John again so many years later.

Unfortunate outcome: Alex will be impossibly more fucked up if he ever finds this out D:
