And needless to say it will be a miracle if the next pres. election cycle Democrats have a chance of running someone who isn't a white man man from the Midwest or maybe a Southern swing state and winning. In the 2020 primary I really wanted to promote candidates who did not fit that profile but we ended up w Biden and I couldn't be shocked. We won't have another woman as our nominee, and it will probably be decades before we nominate another WOC. Because as long as Democrats refuse to give in to this country's loudest bigots, and still outwardly support raising corporate taxes (WHILE LOWERING INCOME TAXES ON EVERYONE WHO ISN'T MAKING LIKE 400K A YEAR)... we can't win. Nothing principled we do matters. The party of unscrupulousness wins by setting their standards so low that it's a race to the bottom. "They go low, we go high," but we don't fucking win.

The first woman president will be a racist white Republican, I'll put 100 dollars on it.
