hey hi hello i am Still thinking about solas' armor. i have once again decided that the leather wrap thing under his tunic is a gorget

waffled on it for a while bc it does go down quite far and that seems...? odd? compared to what i was originally seeing when i looked at gorgets? but no, there are some longer, higher-necked variants

it still could be a fuller top but then you're getting into issues of attachment or daily wrapping/unwrapping that have plagued me ever since i first noticed this part of his outfit, so yeah, going back to my roots
