the indignity of trying to headcanon characters into the tlt universe when i end up with this
absolutely rancid collection of syllables in my notes app
#and look! i’m actually right bone magic requires wetness.#but non-viscous wetness. fringe down over your eyes dripping with blood-type wet#but also sweat. saliva (the flesh magicians can have some spit too though)#tears also#and flesh magic… you have to be a bit off-putting you have to provoke sourceless revulsion#just on sight even before you make fat drip out of the walls and festoon yourself in veins and arteries#it’s in the job description#you also have to be cringy but sexy. i mean just look at mercymorn#anyway i think if you are permanently dripping blood from your hands#but not necessarily a wet sort of person#you can still be entitled to bone magic#yea spirit magic is dry. but like… a bad kind of dry#the eczema of necromancy#anyway don’t worry i’m not doing anything bad or targeted towards anyone specifically
