it’s so funny to me that if you go by current game canon (where the koopalings aren’t bowsers kids) then technically eggman has been a father longer than bowser (metal sonic, who's currently treated as eggman's adoptive kid, originated in 1993, while bowser jr, who's currently treated as bowser's only kid, originated in 2002) like this obviously is only a very technical thing bc the koopalings really should be bowsers kids and it’s dumb they aren’t while eggdad only really started being played into relatively recently (as in, at least a decade ago, considering the Olympic Games series exists and downright considers bowser jr and metal sonic counterparts lol)
