" I MEAN, THESE ARE KIND OF MY HANDS when you really think about it ." shiv jokes with a waggle of her brows as she brings their joint hands up to her mouth, nipping at harley's knuckle quick as anything before she's letting their hands drop again . shiv can't help the way her smile grows at harley's reply, her eyes crinkling with it as she fights the urge to do something more incriminating like kiss the back of harley's hand, or worse, kiss harley . " all i'm hearing is that you like me best, so yeah, i feel pretty lucky ." shiv teases brightly . her cheeks warm a bit at harley's threat, her eyes narrowing with her scoff as she uses her free hand to give harley a little shove . " shut up ." shiv retorts flusteredly for a moment before her eyes are meeting harley's through her lashes as she jokes, " i would never anyways . these bad boys are in my top five harley body parts ." shiv gives harley's hand a playful shake to punctuate the words . " maybe even top three after this tattoo ." shiv teases cheekily . she tries to sit still as the stencil is applied, humming at harley's question before her face scrunches in thought . " wait, no, i thought bony bits hurt more than fleshy bits ?" a pause before she's jostling her and harley's joint hands to ask, " wait, look it up, bird ."

harley playfully rolls her eyes, saying, "you're so bossy. you won't even let me take control of my own . . . hand rights. which, yeah, probably isn't a thing but for now, let me just have this one thing." and soon enough, she's back to smiling again upon seeing the reaction shiv gives her. "yeah, of course," she smiles, feeling her heart flutter seeing the way shiv looked. she'd do absolutely anything to make sure that shiv looked at her that way all the time. "yeah, my bestest friend ever," harley says in a playful, high pitched tone before she resumes to speak normally again, "only you can reserve that special title so consider yourself lucky." a soft chuckle leaves harley's lips as she glances down at their fingers still interwoven before back up to meet shiv's gaze. "i make a lot of magic with these hands so if you break them, you better pay for them," harley remarked. but nonetheless, she doesn't budge. she still couldn't believe that she was even going to be getting a tattoo on her ring finger out of all places but once again, it was just one of the many things she'd do for shiv. "after you're done, i guess i better prepare for my turn. i don't think the finger hurts as much as a boob tattoo will, right? i'm probably not helping much, am i?"
