I brought roses chocolates to my brother's house and after the lunch, I was helping Charlotte pick one out "there's passionfruit and strawberry and orange and---" and she picked the strawberry one and I'm like to my mum "strawberry is a fruit!" See I'm a good aunt

#Charlotte was very excited that her gran nonno and everyone had come for lunch and she was loudly babbling nonsense for most of the lunch #and Nana gave her a gingerbread so she wanted her dad to open it and then she gave a bit to everyone #but it had smarties for buttons and i think she only ate the smarties and icing #oh and leo had a ride on toy and Charlotte also had a ride on toy but bigger and had the whole digging apparatus #she's obviously still excited by the excavator that my parents had in their backyard when they got rid of the pool #i can't remember the other thing i wanted to mention #i came to Tumblr for another reason #she's growing tomatoes like her nonno #oh i remember she's been through my jewellery that I've left at my parents house #the only thing she really wanted was one that's probably real gold but it has my name on it so my mum was reluctant to give it to her #and she's like 'if Laura wanted it she would've taken it with her' rude but fair #but my mum let her have a Winnie the pooh one that becky hurst gave me (one of those half heart things bff's have)#I'm a terrible best friend #Charlotte is now Becky's best friend #enjoy #Becky is so lucky #i wonder if Becky still has that #maybe she's passed it down to Clair's kid/s #maybe Clair and Anthony's children can be best friends like their parents were #that's sweet #best friends without even knowing
