Shout out to the people in the Warriors fandom that take sacrificial deaths that were meant to be for their love interest and instead redirect the focus on their family (this is about Bristlefrost but also low key Feathertail too)

#like I’m sorry feathertail died for some whiny too cool for skool kid and not her LITERAL BROTHER??????#WHO WAS RIGHT THERE????#and the tragedy of bristlefrost is that her and ugly yellow duck boy couldn’t have their lady and the tramp ending??#and not that she is now dead and gone to a place where her family can’t follow #her mother—who fell prey to the dark forest at a young age—had finally found peace #and now her child is dead because of the same evil that drew her in #I do appreciate that ivypool apparently got a whole novel about her coping with her daughter’s death #and the focus wasn’t on yellow snow boy (I am SORRY but rootspring and tree have an UGLY yellow for their hair color)#okay five second later edit: his official art on the wiki is pretty but I still think the color everyone draws him as #(wiki sprites included) are an offense to my eyes #anyways I haven’t read warriors in a hot minute #but I did a deep dive on all the recent books and I’m not okay about bristlefrost #ivypool 🤝 squirrelflight (never being allowed to be happy and at peace and have a loving family)#(as a squilf fan girlie i will never forgive the whole ‘I couldn’t die without getting to know my real mother’ fiasco)#but my hatred of leafpool and critique of her is a whole nother post entirely #I’m just glad she died for her sister because that was the absolute LEAST she could have done #(I tolerate her because squilf is my fav and I honestly am a sucker for sibling bonds. they had a good thing going they just got screwed)#(by bad writing and character biases)#but I digress #probably delete later
