i was tagged by the amazing @turtleduckiess to re-color some of my earliest gifs and see how far i’ve come! thanks for tagging me, i love gif tags and this was supper fun 🥰 also wow, i’ve been making gifs a long time.

these look so much better than the ones from six years ago, not least of which because i finally learned how to use the curves layer properly and stop washing out everyone’s faces, and i finally understand how selective color layers work. and now i’m using 1080p versions of eps instead grainy 680p files. tho in 2014 i was working against the 2mb gif limit which, i’m not quite sure how we ever managed to post anything.

these aren’t synced up perfectly because, in 2014-2015, i used to delete my ps files once i posted the gifset because my laptop couldn’t handle storing big files (that’s also why the middle one has a caption). the one of simm!master was made in cs3 (and is from my first ever set!) and i had to yank it off of my own blog bc apparently i just deleted all of the files when i switched computers 🙃 anyway i back my stuff up now.
